...but the humor factor was fabulous! "ROBOTS RACE PAST HUMANS". Doesn't that mean the humans are dead? Or are Americans the only ones who spell it 'passed'? Either way, it was a good chuckle.

Zio propaganda machine

Like the BBC, the Guardian has been taken over by zios. The truth is no longer an objective. It's all about pleasing their zio maters. Coverage of the genocide in Palestine has been dreadful.

The Guardian Editions app is a retro disaster

The Guardian Editions app is a retro disaster. The retro paper newspaper format is impossible to read without touching the article headline. Then a readable online format appears, only to find that it's been printed twice. The notorious but accurate"Private Eye" "Grauniad" epithet, in the days of hot lead printing is merited again with a vengeance.

Predatory

I only put that star because I have to. I thought I'd do a good thing and contribute to them back in September. So I signed up and started the 5$ a month subscription. However, I changed my mind after seeing some articles that seemed bias, etc. So, I cancelled it. This morning I was charged 5$. Obviously, I was aggravated and a little shocked. I thought better of them.
It took quite a bit of navigating to finally get into the subscription cancel area and I cancelled again. I blocked them with my bank as well.
Then, just to be sure, I decided to contact them. I started a chat with support. They tried gaslight me saying that I accepted a discount in October when I was cancelling! And that is why it restarted the charge this morning. I told them, no I didn't, that's not true. I took a screenshot of the conversation as well.
They're totally predatory in their subscription practice. Not to mention, it was difficult to navigate to the cancel area. The Guardian is unsavory and predatory.
Can't trust any of these media/news sources anymore.

I've been a reader of the Guardian…

I've been a reader of the Guardian since the late 70's.
The Guardian is who I am with its strong values and principles.
I don't see the Guardian through a Rose-Tinted Lens. Some of its decisions are disappointing. I recently read an article by a respected columnist that I strongly felt was unrealistic.
I can't see myself ever leaving the Guardian for another paper.
When I "pop my Clogs," I will leave instructions in my will; on the day I die, I should have a copy of the Guardian by my side in my Cofin.

Once a decent newspaper

Once a decent newspaper. Which allowed readers to comment on 90% of stories.

After several years of readers commenting that the story in the Guardian they had just read either wasn't true, contained glaring factual inaccuracies, or was biased to a ridiculous degree the Guardian quietly and stealthily did away with readers comments.

It's antisemitic and pitifully hypocritical. It criticises businesses that use offshore tax havens whilst using an offshore tax haven itself.

I cancelled my order for the print edition a while back. Now I never bother with the biased online version.

Do not share your personal details, ever!

Never mind the contents of the publication. If you share your personal details, contributing to an article (without any remuneration), you are promptly called internationally by someone who obtained your data illegally. They have your name, telephone number and email. Who is leaking this info? A potential scam? An invasion of your privacy!

Guardian journalist if you can call them that ....

According to a Guardian journalist:

US people want a racist, misogynist, twice-impeached convicted felon that hawks hatred and retribution instead of Harris.

I'm just worried about the lack of insight of that journalist - how bad must the Democrats and Harris be if the above description is the preferred choice in US.

My suggestion is focus on the real story if you want to go into the gutter, or maybe you already live there.

Guardian is a biased rubbish read and the sooner you get off the internet with your constant begging for money so you can peddle your tripe further, the better.

Disgusting

Disgusting, useless, foul, liars, puppets, NPCS, pathetic. The level of hatred I feel towards these clowns is the level of hatred they put out on a daily basis. This will be a show review as I can't use the words I want to use without a ban.

Finally Honest reporting

Finally, for so long The Guardian was ignoring Trump’s divisive and hateful rhetoric and his true plan to be a fascist dictator from day one. I cancelled my paid subscription because of this. Only now considering re-subscribing but will wait a bit to see if you really do cover Trump honestly as the danger he is or go back to ignoring him and his brainwashed cult.

The ugliest newspaper in Britain

The Guardian was once a fairly honest left-leaning source of information. However over the last 20yrs it has gone full-on anti-British, anti-business and anti-conservative. What worries me the most is the fact that the Guardian is the most read newspaper in academia. Academics are teaching this unbalanced stuff to students.
The begging bit under their online articles refers to their "fearless journalism". There's absolutely nothing fearless about it anymore. It's so terrified of some minority interest groups and will never dare print anything even-handed or truthful about them.
In a nutshell the Guardian and its readers see themselves as the master race, entitled to Lord it over the rest of us. It's become predominantly full of opinion pieces containing ad-hominem attacks and a liberal use of the word "fascist". You've lost the argument when you feel the need to resort to such tactics.
P.S. their latest woke battlefield is Artificial Intelligence. Apparently it's making women's breasts bigger! It's probably some devious plan by the patriarchy to retain old gender roles by manipulating code. You just couldn't make this up.

The Begging Hypocrite never The Guardian

It is far more biased towards privilege and the interests of the rich then many of the papers it likes to purport to being holier then though over every single issue . More censorship then the Daily Mail and less freedom of speech then many newspapers in China .
Today it ran a hatchet piece on Badenoch rubbishing her working class credentials .
It left the comments section open for it's favoured trolls to attack Badenoch . Yet day after day Starmer utters rubbish and they won't allow comments on these stories .
It seems to have a real hatred for independent self made women of colour like Badenoch and Patel . The Guardian has never had a ethnic minority or non public school type as editor . It also only lent Harris it's support after old Joe stepped aside.
They banned all of my comments only for stating the truth that Starmer was the son of a factory owner not a work man

pay for censorship ?no thanks !!!

Comment is free and facts are sacred used to be the Guardians major selling point . However today neither selling point is true . The Guardian is no more then a Starmer controlled rag if you try to comment critically and factually on any of this self congratulatory little hypocrites behaviours . The comment get's ring fenced answered back and shadow banned , before you get the chance to answer back with more facts to back up a critical comment on our vile worst minister before they close the discussion thread . In addition there is no option or buttons to correct spelling mistakes , grammar or other type -oh's once a comment is sent .
They also don't allow down votes. Censorship at it's worst . Yet they still have the nerve to beg me to donate to their centrist censorious bias which protects entitled greedy politicians and other public sector dead weight , within the upper echelons of the low performance - high earner bracket .
