Best gym
Before starting I was unhealthy and always tired, just having had a baby and struggling to lose the baby weight.
When I began the programme I loved it. It did take me a wee while to get in the swing of the protein and I have been a member I think for 7 years and there is still new exercises and the sessions never are the same or get boring. I'm dyspraxic and it takes me a while to a new exercise but nothing is a bother to the coaches and they are so patient and kind and help you until you are able to get it, no matter how many times it takes you.
I have become fit, first time I've enjoyed exercise, eat well and lost weight.
It's like joining a family. The coaches are so supportive and the members all cheer each other on. I've had a tough year and been diagnosed with OCD, I had lost interest in myself, my appearance and was eating badly. The coaches were fantastic with me, sending messages to encourage me to get back into attending sessions and my nutritional coach has been so understanding and assisting me with my nutrition with alternative meal planning so I don't need to put in much thought into my meals and getting good results.
It'll be the best decision you ever make. The exercise becomes addictive and you wouldn't want to stop. The results are fab and you'll feel better overall. Gail and Phil have grown such a brilliant place where like minded people train and encourage each other. It's a great atmosphere both in person and for the online sessions, which I do both.
A game changer
Before I started I'd had Covid-19 and a leg injury and felt flabby and out of condition. Really needed something serious to regain a degree of fitness.
The first sessions were tough, no lie. But I quickly saw the trainers were all laser focused on encouraging me to push myself and improve. I loved the ease of booking, and the nature of the sessions. They go by in a flash!
I lost weight initially though this was not my goal. The main benefits are tone and strength and a recurring back injury is no longer an issue. My body shape has changed and running feels better too.
I've already recommended the Hiit Locker to many friends. It's been a game changer.
Fantastic family gym that deserves success

My strength levels have improved. Due to my diet I haven’t lost a lot of weight but stopped putting weight on and slowly I am getting there. Just need to sort diet out!
Absolutely recommend it. Trainers are very committed to ensuring good technique, are happy to take any questions and supportive at all times. Everyone who goes is supportive and you quickly feel like you belong.
The HIIT Locker experience
Before I started I was a little overweight. I didn't have great stamina. I had recently retired so I was at a bit of a loss as to what to do with my time.
I found the coaches really helpful and encouraging while demonstrating all the exercises in a clear & precise way. The nutrition programme combined with the training got me on target to lose the excess weight.
I feel stronger, fitter and more energetic. I also feel more confident and content in myself.
I would certainly recommend the HIIT locker. The small group session format is conducive to producing great results. There is a great atmosphere in the sessions with everyone being very encouraging and friendly.
Best decision
Before starting the Hiit Locker I walked with friends three times a week. I was out of breath going uphills and was feeling stiff and sore. I am menopausal so was looking for a way to strengthen muscles.
Training sessions three times a week are manageable because there is so much choice. All the coaches are friendly, approachable and clearly interested in each person. The sessions have same warm up and cool down so not intimidating.
I have chosen not to follow nutrition as am concentrating on fitness. I have maintained my weight but am definitely changing shape and able to walk further and uphill without feeling out of breath. I sleep well and feel good.
I would definitely recommend HIIT Locker. You are in charge of your own pace. The people in the gym are friendly, the coaches are brilliant and the number of sessions every week means you can fit in a class to suit your schedule. If I can do it… you can absolutely do it.
Highly recommend joining the HIIT locker
I had found myself in a bit of a rut and became very inconsistent with weekly gym training meaning I found it hard to find motivation and work towards weight loss and muscle growth goals
I saw an ad on Facebook for the 6 week challenge and decided to give it a go, this really helped me to get back on track to training consistently and be more accountable with regards to nutrition and calorie counting. From the very first interaction with the HIIT locker staff I was able to set achievable goals without fad dieting and the gym sessions are great fun and the right level of challenge. The coaches are all great people who can motivate and push you when you need it in a very fun group environment. As a competitive person I’ve really enjoyed the weekly challenges as they are always different and push me outside of my comfort zone.
I’ve been able to lose weight and body fat more consistently and be more conscious of calories on a weekly basis meaning my weight doesn’t yoyo. I’ve noticed a big improvement in my fitness and strength levels and this has benefitted me well in competitive sports I play.
Yes i would absolutely recomend, the training sessions are for anyone of any level be it beginner or more experienced. The coaches are very knowledgeable and will help you with correct form and the right weight amounts meaning you are getting all the benefits from the exercises they set out. I love being able to show up and not have to think about coming up with exercises and sets etc as this is already all set out for you on arrival. The social side of being part of the gym is great too such as gym nights out, the members are all very down to earth people working on achieving their own goals and will help you along the way too. You won’t regret joining!
Hiit locker review
Before joining I was lazy, I belonged to a local gym but only went maybe once a month.
The coaches are lovely, the nutrition makes sense and is doable, the training sessions are different every time.
I feel stronger and more flexible, I previously with this gym lost a couple of stone. This time I'm trying to lose a bit more and tone up to fit in my wedding dress!!
Yes 100% it is the place you will get results. And the trainer can adapt the exercises to your ability. It's very supportive class, you don't feel intimidated going in the way you might in a big regular gym.
Great, friendly gym!
Before starting I felt very unfit, lethargic, overweight and in a bit of a rut with myself. I’m only in my third week but already feeling so much better and more positive about myself. I’ve problems with my knees and sciatica and already I’m feeling the benefits of the training. The coaches are extremely friendly, positive and are always available to answer any questions/concerns I have. I find the weekly one to one call regarding nutrition very helpful. It’s great the coach looks over my food diary and is able to suggest changes to speed up weight loss. So far only a few pounds down but hopefully going in the right direction. My energy levels are up, I’m feeling fitter and generally better about myself. So far, so good!
Definitely recommend The HIIT Locker. Small, friendly classes and the coaches are great at tweaking the exercise to suit the individual. Give it a go, you’ll not regret it!
Best decision I made in 2024
Since joining at the end of June I have lost 28lbs and 4 inches off my waist. I am able to fit into clothes that I have had in the back of the wardrobe for years.
Yesterday one of the other grannies on the school run who I haven't seen since start of holidays walked past me as she hadn't recognised my new look.
Obviously I feel a lot healthier but for me the best thing is that I now think about what I eat and portions. I have got out off the rut of its Monday must be pizza day, Tuesday omelette and so on.
I have enjoyed it so much that I have signed up for a further year and look forward to working with all the brilliant staff who are very quick to notice if you are struggling and adapt the exercise to suit. Best 71st birthday present I have given myself.
The HIIT Locker is the place to be!
Before starting with The HIIT Locker I considered myself fit enough, but was starting to carry a few extra pounds and knew that my joints were struggling with a lack of any strength and conditioning work.
I immediately LOVED the sessions -perfect length of time, varied exercises, clear direction and encouragement from all the trainers.
The nutrition programme just helped me focus on the things I already knew and gave me extra tips to see it through with accountability too.
I have lost weight, lost body fat and visceral fat. I am MUCH stronger overall, and also much more confident with the weaker joints that I have, to do the exercises we’re given.
I’m fitter and more confident to try new exercises and even jobs round the house.
I have recommended it to anyone I know interested in changing their mindset and health!

Simply the best
Before starting with The HIIT Locker I found myself Just sitting in the house every day, not doing any exercise, eating chocolate at the weekend. Board no confidence life just passing me by. Getting bigger fooling myself that I was fine. Energy very low.
Love the training sessions, the guys are brilliant there and helped me get where am today. I have more confidence and energy, just love the banter.
I have dropped 2 sizes, my fitness has improved so much, have more energy. I feel great getting into smaller clothes and shoes.
It's a brilliant gym nobody cares what you wear or what size you are, that's want you want, no criticism just encouragement and people who understand what you are here for. It's something for you to enjoy the banter, to feel good about yourself and make friends.
Gym class experience
Before starting the programme at The HIIT Locker I felt very out of shape, I found myself unable to do simple tasks I used to not think about and I was ill all the time.
The programme is very simple but it provides amazing results very quickly. The staff are very welcoming and can help with any problems.
I have noticed that my body is changing and my energy levels are back to what they were before, I can fit more comfortably into my clothes and have ended up sizing down and friends and family have noticed I’m much happier.
I speak very highly of The HIIT Locker and recommend it any chance I get.

When I joined The HIIT Locker I was running two or three times a week but wanted to build some strength and muscle mass. I was looking to have something more than just the cardio I was doing with the running.
The HIIT Locker team is great. I felt very comfortable from the beginning. Everyone knows what they are doing and all the sessions have a friendly atmosphere. For me, the programme was just what I needed with intense training session in a short period of time.
I’ve had very good results from start. I gained strength and improved my muscle tone and that helped me not get fatigued after my long runs. I also feel better, I sleep better and the training sessions help to manage my stress levels also.

Life changing
Before I started at The HIIT Locker I was slowly but steadily putting weight on, even with an active job ( around food mind 🫣), showing itself as a noticeable rounded stomach ... I also had constant aching in my leg, my fitness levels were also pretty poor I discovered regardless of the aforementioned active working day.
My random surfing that in previous years was much more constant began to suffer when I had the opportunity so I guess this was the driving factor in signing up. The very simple to follow HiiT classes along with the trainer's help, advice and encouragement was and is second to none, a brilliant bunch of people!
My energy levels have lifted and I actively look forward to sessions, I've lost over a stone in weight and muscle definition is a nice side effect, along with the pot belly losing the will to stick about, I've also dropped two waist sizes 😎, my wife, friends and family have all commented on how well I'm looking. One of the biggest positives is no longer being utterly destroyed after a surf session not to mention being able to catch more wave 🌊
I would have no hesitation in recommending The HIIT Locker for anyone looking to improve their fitness levels.
Best Gym Community
Before I got started with The HIIT Locker my fitness was not good and my BMI said I was obese which affected my confidence. I didn’t feel strong, I wasn’t happy with how I looked and I was worried about my health.
When I got started with the programme I really enjoyed how interactive it was in that everyone doing exercise together helped motivate me. All the coaches were friendly, accommodating of my needs and encouraged me to push myself which I would struggle to do if I was going to just a normal gym.
Results wise, I have lost weight and body fat. I can now fit into my old size 10 skinny jeans. From family to friends and neighbours everyone has commented on the weight I’ve lost and I’ve been told I’m glowing. Even my ex partner told me I inspired him to go to lift again

Best thing I’ve ever done!
Before joining The Home HIIT Project I was in a complete rut. Having 2 small kids, juggling a full time job working from home, I was just lost. Not eating right, and if I was, I was binge eating. Always making sure my husband and kids were looked after and not looking after myself. Had mastered the art of maintaining my unhealthly weight. Having recently had some bad news from a genetic testing result, having come to terms with it I realised I had to get my act together but knew I couldn’t do it myself and lacked the confidence to go to local gyms and needed something to help me get back on the straight and narrow and most importantly work with my work and family life.
The coaches just make everything simple and straightforward. I knew very little about a calorie deficit and how it worked. But it does! I’m amazed at how much I have to eat and how this has already just 4 weeks in has totally changed my habits and mindset. I find myself more knowledgable on what to eat and not what to eat and how to manage calorie intake on a daily basis so if there’s something I want, I can have it. The whole MyFitnessPal is dead easy, actually kind of become a healthy obsession!
I do the early morning sessions with Phil, lots of encouragement, and modifies it accordingly. So totally suitable for every type of fitness level. And also have access to the members page with access to set workouts if I want to do anything extra ☺️
4 weeks in, slow and steady progress and enough to make me realise I’m finally achieving what I want to achieve and am proud of myself. Body shape has changed already in just 4 WEEKS!
Most importantly for me personally it’s the staff. From day one the support is fantastic, they actually care and want to help. And they are just a text away. To have someone to be accountable to, that’s what makes this work for me. And my achievements ultimately help me massively in what I want and at the same time help get the word out about how awesome and genuine these guys are ❤️Achieving my goals will be thanks to them. And once my programme ends I will most definitely will be continuing my journey with The Home HIIT project. The comfort I get from them all, I wouldn’t want to do it with anyone else 🥰
Amazing Training
When I joined The HIIT Locker towards the end of August, I weighed a little under 15 stone (having put 10lbs back on in a couple of months through birthdays, barbeques and my 20th Wedding Anniversary). I used to be a competitive fencer but through a combination of factors I was now seriously unfit, significantly overweight and generally unhappy with myself. I was always absolutely shattered every morning and had no energy or drive to do anything. My clothes didn't fit well, or getting bigger and bigger sizes and I had zero muscle tone or strength. I couldn't even do 5 press ups.
I'd also never trained using weights before so The HIIT Locker was a novel, if painful, experience to start with, as my muscles and body became used to strenuous exercise again. I found the nutrition app and coaching really useful and quite straightforward, albeit a bit of a shock when you see the calorie content of what you're eating!
What's really great about the programme is the small group aspect. Whether with the nutrition or sessions there's always a personal touch and all the coaches are really good at pushing you on without making you feel incapable. The atmosphere in the sessions is always fun and there's a good bit of banter, and support, from everyone. I definitely feel part of a group, not just a faceless body in the crowd.
In the 11 weeks I've been there I've lost over 1 stone and I fit clothes I bought years ago but could never wear without feeling self-conscious. I've noticed how quickly my strength and endurance levels picked up and the weights I can work with have increased steadily. I'm much fitter, healthier, definitely skinnier and happier than I've been in years. Perhaps one of the most telling things was walking in to class and Shan exclaiming 'You're so lean!', having not seen me for a couple of weeks. It doesn't get easier because you push onwards, heavier weights, more reps, faster tempo, but it's certainly made a difference to me. Well worth the time, effort and money. It feels like another family.

Before starting the HIIT locker I was out of shape, aching joints, had low energy, poor flexibility, little strength.
I Found the start daunting, I was so uncoordinated and unfit, but the trainers were so helpful and friendly I soon started enjoying the classes and really looking forward to it.
I have lost nearly 2 stone but the best is how much fitter and stronger I have become and how much I enjoy exercise. It has helped me realise that exercise is the best medicine for staying young no matter what age you are.
The HIIT Locker experience
Before I started at The HIIT Locker my diet was very unhealthy. Lots of snacks and too many carry outs. My exercise regime would consist of a leisurely stroll with the dog every day and little else. Previous resolutions to get fit would rarely last more than 3 days. My weight had began to creep up over the years and before I started The HIIT Locker I was really struggling to get into some 36 inch waist trousers and would wear XL shirts. Consequently my self confidence would have been fairly low, I’d avoid looking at myself in mirrors where possible and I’d hate photos of myself.
I came to The HIIT Locker through an ad on Facebook. I’d had a bit of a mild health scare and with my family having a long history of heart problems I decided it was time to do something about it. I was given the hard sell (lol) by Emma over the phone and she explained the whole plan in a very non-daunting way while Phil’s nutrition tutorial videos were really informative and well presented.
The first training session I was very apprehensive but the trainers were really supportive and eased me through it and I soon realised nearly everyone else had been just as nervous on their first day. I can’t say enough about the trainers. Their good nature, enthusiasm and knowledge is second to none. Every session strikes a balance between craic and hard work. They make time for everyone in the sessions and are always there with helpful coaching cues and pointers. I was lucky to get Hugh as my nutrition coach. The first few of the weekly calls were particularly important for me as changing my diet was definitely the most challenging aspect of the programme for me. Hugh worked with me on a one-on-one basis until we found which daily calorie and protein intake worked best for me and he would keep me on the straight and narrow with his cajoling and encouragement.
I’ve had some great results with the programme and I’m probably in the best shape of my life. I’ve dropped over 3.5 stone, my body fat percentage has more than halved and I’ve basically had to buy almost a whole new wardrobe as none of my old clothes fit me. 32 inch trouser waists are now a little baggy on me and I can fit into some medium size shirts. People who hadn’t seen me for a while were really surprised and shocked by my appearance. I’ve definitely got much more energy and confidence than before. I’d heartily recommend The HIIT Locker to everyone.
My HIIT locker experience
Before I joined The HIIT Locker I was just dieting. I’d lost some weight but hit a bit of a plateau for a couple of months which was de-motivating. I wasn’t fit at all, was in a gym but didn’t really know what I was doing. I thought The HIIT Locker would get me back on track to my weight loss goal and it did.
When I started I really enjoyed the programme. It was great going in a few times a week and learning new exercises and always trying something new every training session. Even today the trainers still throw stuff into the workouts that I’ve never done before. The trainers were very supportive and really helped me with my nutrition, something I always struggled with. I also find they are very motivational, they push you to get an extra few reps in at the end of a set, when they know you can do it. I honestly don’t have a bad word to say about any of the trainers at the gym.
I’ve found recently my clothes are too big for me now, which I see as a good problem. I’m also a lot more toned, I feel, and still have more to accomplish. I feel posture was always something I struggled with, and have noticed my posture has gotten a lot better, especially with the back exercises I have done. I receive a lot of compliments from friends and family about how much weight I’ve lost, and when new people I meet see old photos of me they can’t believe how much I’ve changed. I’ve also found my confidence has improved massively.
