The trousers I got have no give or stretch in the material so I definitely recommend sizing up! I have returned the trousers twice for the back seam ripping when Ive bent down to feed my pet, both times. The trousers are stunning to look at but aren’t very practical like previous trousers and jeans Ive bought over the years from here. So there has been a major hike in price that I dont think the quality reflects! Im sizing up one more time in hopes that they aren’t baggy around the bum and waist but wont rip from basic movements. I feel like with the major price hike a lot of loyal costumers are left behind and I’m just lucky I can currently afford it but I cannot afford pretty trousers to be on display on a shelf, they need to be practical. The returns portal and speedy turn around are great tho and costumer service in general is great!

Sizing is all different for each item, despite what the size guide says. Then you have to pay postage every time you try and get the right size. One top was far too small. One top was too big. One was perfect. The skirt was tiny, so tried a size up and was still tiny, then I gave up. All items were ordered in the same size. Quite a bit of time and money wasted because their sizing isn’t accurate.
The one top I could keep is beautiful but the quality is not what I would expect for the price. The embroidery has several loose threads after wearing once and not washing yet, so will probably all unravel at some point.

This team has been nothing but supportive when I myself was responsible for a shipping mishap. Customer support at it's finest, fast replies and problem solution. I'd like to thank Ben and his small team, they give their all to support customers.

I bought the Love is Love Kaleidoscope boots and omg they are the most gorgeous thing ever. Super comfy. Also shipping was so good and quick I got my stuff in less than a week after I ordered (it was supposed to be 7-21 days).

I love the clothes, but can't trust them to get my address right. Somehow their system kept changing my address, and they took no ownership over the issue, and actually shamed me for not using a different address the second time. Very disappointing.

I recently purchased the 'Let The Good Times Roll Purple Ruffle Blouse' and 'Fame Green Pussybow Shirt' from this company last year, and I was sad to see that they are going on a short hiatus. But I took advantage of their 50% off sale, I couldn't resist buying another set of blouses in different colors. The blouses are simply stunning and the quality is top-notch. I can only hope that their hiatus won't be too long because I am already looking forward to their return. Wishing them all the best and hoping that they continue to create such beautiful clothes!

I recieved all my items in estimated time and they were in perfect shape. I had a little issue with tracking (couriers fault) so I reached out to the hippie shake via email. A member of the team responded very quickly and checked the status of my package. The purchase itself, I couldn't be more pleased with. The sizing is acurate, the items well made and the packaging is diposable. The only thing you should be careful with is import duty and taxes if you're not from UK, the page states it very clearly but it slipped past me and I was quite shocked, so make sure you read everything before ordering.
Loving the hippie shake and plan on ordering again! ❤️

The Hippie Shake is a wonderful business with excellent customer service and the best quality garments. I've been buying from them for a couple years now. At first, I thought I would never be able to purchase anything from them because I just couldn't afford it as a college student then. But I finally received a pair of their groovy embroidered penny lane boots that my sweet boyfriend gifted me for Christmas a while back. The quality was superb. Then, they introduced friendly US shipping rates, so I was thrilled to save on shipping so I can spend a little more on clothes ;-) I wore their Anathea mandala dress to one of the Dead and Company Sphere shows in July. I got so many compliments and felt like the psychedelic theme matched perfectly with the music of the Grateful Dead. They just had another large sale for their heroes collection and I couldn't help but splurge some more. I'll be taking a long break from buying myself clothes and shoes after this, but I think The Hippie Shake has satisfied my 60s and 70s obsession :) <3 They're also so generous and give out discount codes frequently if you're subscribed to their email. I almost forgot to mention, a year ago, my dog chewed up one of my Whole Lotta Trouble Boots (which I was able to fix with a local shoe repair shop), but The Hippie Shake were so KIND to mail me a replacement of the unique shoelace with gold tips for the boot. No extra charge whatsoever. Noami and Ben are the best especially when getting back to emails. Thank you, guys, for everything!

The On Tour ‘74 Varsity Jacket that I got from The Hippie Shake exceeded my expectations!!! It looked amazing and incredibly warm - I wore it out and got lots of compliments! It’s a beautifully made garment and I will be wearing out whenever I can! I’d also like to say that the team behind THS are incredible - I had some issues with my delivery and the THS staff were super helpful and communicated with the delivery company and helped to co-ordinate re-delivery. Shout out to Ben, you are awesome! If you love the spirit and the clothing of the 1960s and 1970s - this is the clothing brand for you! Not only are the clothes amazing, but the staff behind the brand are brilliant. :)

THS’s customer service is excellent, and the clothes are just fabulous! Not to mention great quality too. For a while now I’ve always had a hard time finding groovy clothes that speak to me, and for that I am so grateful they exist. I am so in love with my mini mandala dress! This is my first time ordering from them and I plan on ordering many more times!

we were looking for extraordinary clothes for this party.. it took a while, but then we found the hippie shake! the pieces we got are just perfect! There is absolutely nothing to complain about. Even the shoes are extremely comfortable and can be danced all evening long

Wonderful customer service! They were fast to respond (less than 24 hours) to any issue that came up! I also received store credit/refund immediately after I had issues with an item. Again, fantastic service!

Firstly, the items of clothing from here are absolutely lovely. So cute. I've bought my wife some shoes and boots. She's bought me a jacket. All good quality. All good value. All delivered promptly. I exchanged my jacket for a size bigger (my fault, their sizing is accurate, I'm exactly on the cusp between sizes and tend to try to go with the smaller of the two; sometimes it pays off sometimes not. Obviously I should really go with the size up). But even this was easy to sort, getting a QR code to print at a Royal Mail Office. And my new jacket was with me within 2 days of posting so extremely quick turn around. I found the company as a sponsored add on Facebook, which does not always work out well from experience. This company is the exception. A genuine, decent shop. Can't recommend enough. Will buy from here again.

I have been demanding for my refund from this comonay and they keep sending me the same emails since Feb 2024! Was forced to pay a solicitor to email them to redeem my refund and they sent the same email as they do every week and month! Their excuse is that their bank has issues. I question this, since February? this is absolutely absurd. I am seeking further legal advice to close this company down and have contacted the Japanese business law to investigate this matter further. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Awful experience and out of pocket having buried my mother-in-law and they still have no remorse to return my owed money! If no stock arrived? and they kept the stock, why not return what is owed? They have my customer order number and business working days are said to be 5 - 15 days to refund. It is now over 6 months. You do tje maths!
