Best decision we made was to say…

Best decision we made was to say goodbye to our beloved beautiful boy at home and not a vet clinic.He was in one of his favourite spots and as heartbreaking as it was to say goodbye, he was calm and comfortable throughout the whole process. His younger fur brother was also able to be there with the rest of our family. Dr Bec was so great and compassionate to our situation. Rest in Peace my beautiful boy.

Nothing short of outstanding

Never having to face making this gut-wrenching decision before, I was completely lost and had no idea what to do or expect. From those who answer the phone and emails, through to the vet who attended our home, the Kindest Goodbye were nothing short of phenomenal.
At a time when your head a foggy mess and you can't think straight, the level of clear information on the website and ease of booking is outstanding. It's enough to understand the process and your options, without overwhelming you.
The pre-vet attendance questionnaire is a beautiful touch, allowing you to choose how you want the process to happen in your home. I have a second dog who doesn't do well with strangers, but it was important to me that she have some time and visibility of the process. Being able to articulate this request before the vet arrived was really comforting.
Loss is crushing, nothing and no one can change that. But having the ability to prepare for it with the outstanding care and support from the Kindest Goodbye makes a world of difference.
We are so very grateful, thankyou.

We are so deeply sorry for the loss of your beloved Newman. Facing this kind of decision for the first time is overwhelming, and we are so glad that our team and our process could bring even a small sense of clarity and comfort during such a foggy and painful time.

It is so wonderful to hear that the pre-attendance questionnaire made a difference, it is something we put a lot of care into, and knowing it gave you the space to advocate for both beautiful Newman and your other beautiful dog means the world to us.

You are so right that loss is crushing, and we would never claim otherwise. But being trusted to walk alongside families in those moments is something our whole team holds with enormous care and gratitude.

Amazing service

Sadly we had to make the decision to say goodbye to one of our old rescue dogs. He was the loveliest old man who was loved by all our human and fur family. He hated travelling in the car and going to the vet so we decided that home was the best place for him. With the help of Dr Louise and the Kindest Goodbye, his passing was gentle and peaceful. We couldn’t have asked for more compassion or better service. We highly recommend the Kindest Goodbye.

Would highly recommend The Kindest…

Would highly recommend The Kindest Goodbye, who euthanised my beautiful 15yo border collie at home with care, kindness and respect. It made the whole experience for our family personal and peaceful and our dog was not distressed in any way. The vet and the lady we dealt with were so very kind and caring, very grateful to them and for this service.

Saying goodbye to our beautiful family…

Saying goodbye to our beautiful family dog, Nova, was one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to do, but having Dr Rachael Booth come to our home made such a heartbreaking experience so much more peaceful.

Rachael was incredibly kind, compassionate, professional, and reassuring from the moment she arrived. She treated Nova with such dignity and respect, while also taking the time to support our family through every step of the process. She never rushed us, explained everything gently, and created a calm and comforting environment that allowed Nova to pass peacefully in the home she loved.

While no one ever wants to be in the position of saying goodbye to a beloved pet, I am so incredibly grateful that Rachael was the one who helped us through it. Her compassion and care made an unimaginably difficult day just that little bit easier.

I cannot recommend Dr Rachael Booth highly enough to anyone facing the heartbreaking decision to help their beloved family pet cross the Rainbow Bridge. Thank you, Rachael, for giving Nova such a beautiful, peaceful farewell. We will never forget your kindness.

Absolutely amazing service from start…

Absolutely amazing service from start to finish and after support 😭 to have our 19 year old boy Razzel peacefully pass at his home in his daddy's arms while we talked to him and kissing him through his transition to his sister Dazzel who we lost at 16 years old. The Vet Dr Ryan Haste was so supportive so patient and so kind. We chose for our boys "shell" to be taken for cremation 😭 thank you

The best option for my cat

Tailored service, extremely kind and supportive vet, calm goodbye. Everything my 18 year old cat deserved. Well worth the money. Dr Kate Galloway was lovely.

A beautiful send off

From the first phone contact to the lovely vet who attended the experience was a beautiful way to say goodbye to our beloved dog Mia who was 18. So happy she went off so peacefully in her own home being patted until her last breath.

Home euthanasia for my dog

I wanted my dog to be euthanased in the comfort of our home - The Kindest Goodbye were caring and professional from the first contact. They arranged aftercare which included taking my pet to the crematorium for cremation. They also offer grief counselling. I was grateful I didn't have to do a thing and could concentrate on spending quality time with my dog until the vet turned up. Thank you so much - a very sad moment made bearable.

Peaceful and empathetic

We made the most difficult decision to let our beautiful girl Mishka go recently. Jenny from The Kindest Goodbye was calm and informed us of every step of the process and what to expect as we said our goodbyes. Jenny let us take our time, we weren’t rushed, our other dog was able to be there to see the process and it was the most peaceful experience. We felt heard, with empathy and would absolutely use this service again for our pets further down the track. I am so glad we made this decision to use The Kindest Goodbye, albeit one of the hardest to make in any situation, but feel it was the perfect choice. Thank you so much.

Saying goodbye is never easy but they make it easier.

From the first phone call I could tell that I'd chosen the right people to help me say goodbye to my beautiful cat, everyone was very kind, very empathetic and very understanding. The Vet that visited our home (Linda) never rushed us, told us everything she was doing before she did it, she made an unbearable situation bearable.
If you have to say goodbye to a loved pet The Kindest Goodbye will see you right.

Eternally grateful

The Kindest Goodbye made a very sad day a little easier to bear.
Gemma was very kind and helpful when I needed to bring our date forward.
Dr Jina was wonderful, very soft spoken and gentle. My very anxious and people shy elderly cat remained calm and slipped away peacefully.
I will be eternally grateful.

We used Dr Claire Mann for our girl…

We used Dr Claire Mann for our girl last year, she was so amazing that I said I would see her again. When the time came for our 14 year old dog she was my first thought. Thank you to Claire and the entire team for making the entire process so easy, supportive and as positive as an experience it can be. There’s no rush, everything’s on your terms and being able to talk about your pet with people who cares is so comforting. Thank you from the bottoms of our hearts.

There is something so reassuring about having a trusted, familiar person come to help support you through such a difficult time, knowing that you are in the best hands & most importantly, that your beloved Todd was also well held in his moment of need. Kind and efficient service

I engaged the kindest goodbye when my beautiful almost 16 year old golden retriever needed to cross the rainbow bridge.

Their website was easy to use and the service was great. I had to bring my appointment earlier as my girl declined quickly, and they were flexible and caring.

The vet who came to my house was lovely and made a terrible situation a little easier.

I highly recommend.
