The customer service is kind of crappy. Even when using the One service at $110 CAD/month, they often would just link to their existing documentation as an "answer" and it felt like a fight to get custom help (which is what One is supposed to provide). At times, they got angry with me when I became confused by their instruction, didn't know something they told me to do, or how I lacked the knowledge I was getting support for. At times, they'd write at me in all caps when I didn't know what the problem was. When I asked if I could have the custom code to style a form, they literally replied to just use CSS to style it. That's it. Thus the fight to get custom support.

Good theme but things can break at will and have. It is difficult and expensive to get any help. There's also quite a steep learning curve in learning how to use the theme.

Two stars for the theme with three stars deducted for awful customer service and how things in their theme break -- even after they themselves installed it into your theme. Now, I deeply regret buying a lifetime license and I should have gone with Elementor.

Loved this theme (initially).

Was a die hard supporter since 2012.

Then, they became greedy. And with the upgrades, came complications.

They forgot the main priority.

People are not developers.

And then they upgraded and created more and more disasters. Now no support, unless you pay.

Try buy a new theme, no way, now you pay monthly or annually.

Absolute greed from devs who don't follow the one basic rule..

NOT EVERYONE IS INTERESTED OR HAS THE TIME TO LEARN YOUR NEW EXTRAS AND UPGRADES.

SUDDENLY THEY SEEM TO WARRANT THEIR PRICES THAT EVERYONE IS A WEB DEV?

NOW SO COMPLICATED WHO HAS TIME TO WASTE?

GREED.

WILL TAKE THEM TO COURT FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT FOR MY PAST 3 (LIFETIME) LICENSEES.

Zero priority for long term supporters

Disgusting!

You buy permanent licenses (I got three) and one day they will no longer work. You contact them and they say your support expired, but this SHOULD NOT APPLY to my license. They will say it's someone else's policy, but won't try to offer a solution on their end. They don't care about old customers at all. Not recommended! Buy from other developers/authors, no matter what!

Our company made a major mistake in hiring Theme.co for development work on our website. I understand that their wordpress Theme has great reviews, but they also provide a service where you buy blocks of development time and they have a team of developers (supposedly) working on any development needs you have. They supposedly had the same developer working on our backend, and then a new request we had for a change to the form on our website. We do not believe it was actually the same developer because his questions about the functionality of our site didn't make sense - and then he went ahead & went live with the new form without testing on the staging site that he had set up for development. The new form was totally broken (even had typos) - and was a disaster. We asked for a refund - but were denied. So we just want to warn anyone thinking to use Theme.co for development to stay away!
