First impressions are brilliant. Cooks well looks brilliant and most importantly- tastes amazing! Going down a storm with the locals.

Steak and Ale pie bought from Dobbies garden centre Wallington. Fantastic pie full of meat and crispy pastry and very moist

Bought two individual steak and stilton pies (£5.79 each!). There can't have been more than three pieces of beef in the one I had and not the slightest hint of stilton. Only giving two stars, instead of one, as the flavour was pretty decent. If you want some pastry full of gravy and next to nothing else, this is the company for you.

the pies were not in great condition when they arrived a lot had damaged tops with all bits of pastry in the bags. We were also disappointed with the fillings much less filling than in previous purchases. I bought sausage rolls as well this time and they have proven to be not a great experience. Overall very dissatisfied with my order on this occasion

Good service, good products. A real shame that they shut down for Christmas so early as we needed more product to sell!

Two pies purchased at Bosworths Garden Centre in Northamptonshire. Got the Chicken & Mushroom and the Pulled Pork & Cider. Both pies were excellent, however the pulled pork one was out of this world!!! One of the most delicious pies ever. I can’t wait to go back and buy more and try some other things from the range! Worth every penny… very happy customer! :))))))) x

Packaging was terrible and out of the 11 bags of sausage rolls packed 3 were broken. Many of them had broken edges due to the packs being broken and the sausage tools been thrown around!
I contacted the company via email but got zero response! Not good.
However, once cooked they didn’t look too bad and the guests at the book-signing event I was hosting loved them!

Customer service was way off key. We placed an order, paid for it, but on the expected delivery date it did not show. No comms of explanation - just silence, despite the order showing as 'fulfilled' on TOB's site. We phoned in, and TOB said the order would be with us early the next week; it didn't arrive so we called again - to be told end of that week at the earliest. No explanation, no gesture seeing we were on attempt no. 3 to get our order.
Things go wrong, that's life - but when they do, going the extra customer service mile can make all the difference. TOB didn't even try to do that. What a shame. We accepted a refund and that's that.

I bought 3 Iced Duck cookies from a local garden centre with expiry date Sep2025. We didn't give them to our grandchildren until June but they tasted stale. Although they were eaten by 2 of them 1 grandchild refused to eat it .

I received a Christmas gift from a customer containing 2 x 30g Mini Jewel Fruit cake and 2 x 30g Mini Iced fruit cake WOW I wish they had been 300g I'm not much of a cake lover but they were delicious especially the Jewel Fruit Cake I'm now on the hunt to find stockist

Following my chicken pie first taste, and as suggested, today I tried the Steak & Ale Pie. It was as tasty and full filling - this company needs to be supported to maintain what’s great about fantastic British food. Again, 10/10 for quality, taste & culinary satisfaction - in case your wondering, I’m in Hertfordshire and love good traditional food - Bravo, The Original Baker!👍

Sampled lots of tasty products but the best by all was THE ORIGINAL BAKER
lots of yummmy pies , sausage rolls & savoury garland roll absolutely amazing products lovely ingredients in all of what I sampled, wish I could order for personal use & not from retailers, if I lived near Molton I’d be there every day

I bought a Hog Roast sausage roll and a Pork and Stilton one from Squires Garden Centre in Frensham, Surrey… wow! Best sausage rolls I’ve ever had!
Meaty, tasty, pastry was amazing. Worth every penny.

We purchased the leek & cheese pasties, the leeks didn't appear to have been washed properly as they tasted gritty and the leeks had not been been cooked properly.

I Purchased Pork stilton and caramelised onion sausage rolls X 3 from The original Baker at my local Rosebourne outlet today. first and last time. The sausage was tasteless, I love stilton so was looking forward to the taste , but found the whole sausage bland.

Had 2 mini cakes which were part of a hamper, coffee & walnut and chocolate - both were absolutely delicious!!
