Sophie - Darlington 100% brilliant
Sophie! If I was still running a business I would be poaching this young lady. What an absolutely 100% switched on, multi tasking, friendly, considerate, attentive, patient, sales lady. Her product knowledge is immense. Nothing was too much trouble. I wasn't sure what I wanted and I was conscious i was taking up so much time when other customers came in - but she greeted and acknowledged them - 1st rule of customer facing roles! I suggested she served them too, which she did but never let her focus drift off from me too. Multi tasking customer service. Once I eventually decided and bought, I told her how impressed I was. It is so very rare to find staff of such high caliber - move over lord sugar you're fired ! Sophie is in the house. !!!
PS Ann was working too and had been on a work call/zoom but came out as soon as she could and was also very attentive.

Stand-out staff members!
I visited the Darlington store the day before my son's birthday for some last-minute advice and purchases for a scent-obsessed teenager. Ann and Louise went above and beyond, helping me choose from a list of fragrances my son had suggested and patiently guiding me through my indecision.
Their customer service was outstanding - friendly, professional, relatable, and genuinely funny. Compared with other stores I visited that day, they really stood out. They made me feel valued, never rushed, and turned what could have been a stressful shopping trip into a great experience.
I left with a beautifully gift-wrapped present, and my son was absolutely delighted with it. Ann and Louise are a real credit to the store. Thank you both! ❤️

Perfume shop cornmill
I bought a travel perfume atomiser prior to a holiday, paid £9.99 in cash.
I didn't keep receipt because I expected it to work.
Once filled it evaporated the perfume.
I asked for an exchange as it was faulty, could see on the counter the product. They refused to exchange.
So for a few quid , they have lost any future purchases. Poor customer service.

After visiting the Darlington store with no clue what I wanted apart from a fresh new smell. I was greeted and served by Beth who went above and beyond and must have tried 20 plus different fragrances for me. Finally decided on Azzaro The most wanted which is going to be my new daily. Thank you Beth , patience of a saint , excellent customer service and a credit to the company. Highly recommend.
