I purchased Burberry Goddess in Liffey Valley today for €110 with a 20% discount applied, bringing the total to €88. I also redeemed €15 in reward points during the purchase.
When I got home, I noticed an additional €3 charge on the receipt for a second item. As I happened to be in Dundrum later, I called into the branch to ask if someone could explain the charge.
I was informed that the €3 charge was connected to using all of my reward points. I explained that, had this been mentioned at the time of purchase, I would simply have used €10 in points and kept the remaining €5 balance. The response I received was “it’s only €3,” which I felt dismissed my concern. I replied that the store still had the €3, and clarified that I meant the business, not the staff member personally. I was then told to “go back to Liffey Valley then.”
I want to stress that I was not rude or confrontational. I was simply asking for clarification about a charge on my receipt, which I feel was a reasonable question. Unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed by the way the situation was handled and with a very poor impression of the customer service experience.

I was served by Emma and she went above and beyond for me. Excellent customer service. Ordered up the aftershave I was after and even managed to get free home delivery for me. Very pleasant to deal with. I will be recommending you to my friends and family. Tom

Eva was incredible, did not rush me even though it was mother's day, I tried three different scents went off and did my shopping so I could smell and decide which one to purchase. When I came back she was busy dealing with a customer but got my perfume ready at the same time, a great multi tasker. I have never bought anything in the perfume shop before but after my experience today I will be back. It's great to deal with such a pleasant professional assistant.

Despite the Christmas rush, the staff at Dundrum were absolutely fantastic. From phones ringing to massive queues going right out the door, I still felt so seen and listened to.
I was met with kindness and just upmost attentiveness. I was looking for a perfume for my son and I didn’t have a clue, but the girls helped me out big time. He will be so happy.
To just focus on each customer and give patience and kindness is nothing short of professional. It was my first time shopping at this perfume shop and I will definitely be back.
