I visited The Perfume Shop on Thursday…
I visited The Perfume Shop on Thursday last with my daughter during the ‘Crescent Student Night’. There was a great atmosphere created by the young man in charge of the cup and ball game. Everyone really seemed to get great entertainment out of the game. My daughter played: she won a small gift bag which she was delighted with!. He even allowed me to have a go even though I am not a student. There were three other staff in the shop, all women, they were great and efficient in serving the student crowds. My daughter availed of the 20% deduction for students.

Hello Madeline,
I’m sincerely sorry to hear that your order arrived with a damaged box, particularly as this was intended to be a gift. I completely understand how disappointing this must have been, especially if the delivery packaging allowed the item to move around during transit.
Having looked into this, I’m unable to find an open case with our Customer Services team using the email address or order number linked to your review.
Please could you kindly contact our Customer Services team and provide three or more clear images showing the condition of the item and packaging you received. This will allow the team to review what has happened and work towards an appropriate resolution for you.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention and please accept our sincere apologies again for the condition your order arrived in.
Kind regards,
Jasmyn

i usually love shopping here
i usually love shopping here, there is a good range of perfumes. A young girl helped me at first.i asked to look around because I wasn’t sure what I wanted. She said to take my time. As soon as she left the taller black haired younger boy came straight over to me to ask if I wanted help the girl was only gone a few second. he seemed eager to eager to make a sale and came across almost condescending in the way he was taking to me.and I chose not to buy because of it but will be back another day to the girl that originally helped hopefully there will be a discount that day too. the other staff smiled and said hello which I appreciated.

Hello George,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I’m pleased to hear that you usually enjoy shopping with us and that several members of the team made you feel welcomed during your visit.
I am, however, sorry that your interaction with another member of the team made you feel uncomfortable and ultimately resulted in you deciding not to make a purchase. We want our customers to feel supported while browsing, without ever feeling pressured into making a decision.
While I’m sure the intention was to offer assistance, I completely appreciate that the approach and communication you experienced did not come across in that way. Our teams should always recognise when a customer would prefer some time and space to browse at their own pace.
Thank you for highlighting this to us. Your feedback will be shared with the relevant store management team so that your experience can be reviewed internally and the appropriate feedback provided.
We really appreciate that despite this experience you would still consider visiting us again, and I hope your next visit reflects the friendly and welcoming service you have previously enjoyed with us.
Kind regards,
Jasmyn

Hello Jehad,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your purchase and felt that the perfume details and rating did not match your expectations.
Our online perfume ratings are based on reviews and ratings submitted by individual customers, so they reflect people's personal experiences and preferences rather than a guaranteed indication of how a perfume will perform for everyone. Perfume scent and longevity can also vary depending on factors such as skin chemistry and application.
To help ensure you are happy with your next perfume purchase, we would always recommend visiting one of our 200+ stores, where one of our perfume experts will be happy to talk through your preferences and allow you to test perfumes in store. This gives you the opportunity to experience the perfume for yourself and consider how long it lasts on your skin before making a purchase.
We are sorry that this perfume did not meet your expectations and hope we can help you find a perfume you are completely happy with in the future.
Kind regards,
Jasmyn
