Has skin testing gone out of fashion?
Whilst Christmas shopping at the Kingfisher Centre, Redditch, I dropped into The Perfume Shop in the hope of being able to compare the fragrances of two short-listed Dior Eau de Parfums (Sauvage & Homme for men), based upon their fragrance when applied to my skin. I had hoped that such a test would enable me to make a final selection from which to make a purchase with a budget of £100.00. Having explained the reason for my visit to the assistant, I was supplied with two paper strips, each one having a different parfum applied. Unlike a tester on the wrist however, this did not enable me to assess how each scent would perform when applied to my skin chemistry, so I left the shop without making a purchase. Has skin testing gone out of fashion?
Disappointing.
