I ordered live plants from The Pond Guy. They arrived in a plastic bag inside a cardboard box. They were severely wilted and turning brown. I have ordered plants from many other companies and the plants have been healthy. I am extremely disappointed and will not order from this company again.

I ordered live plants and all of the supplies to properly plant them for my new stock tank pond.
Previously, I have had water gardens for the last 25 years.
I am an avid gardener and plant enthusiast.
Not a newbie by any stretch.
I planted as directed using the Pond Guys potting mix, the recommended gravel and fertilizer tabs. Placing the plants at the recommended depth.
The lotus never even sprouted.
The hardy water lily leaves that existed, yellowed and died, and no new sprouts.
Out of 6 sensitive plant pieces, only one has survived.

I was out of state for a week helping my 94 year old mother transition to long term care and upon return home I discovered the state of the plants purchased from the Pond Guy.
I reached out to customer service, and was told that I was at 17 days post delivery of the plants and the Pond Guy company would not stand behind my purchases.

We have been using thepondguy.com⁠� for over 10 years and have consistently been impressed with their knowledge and expertise. We have purchased two pumps from them over the years, and when replacements were needed, the warranty process was handled smoothly and without concern. Their customer service and product support have been excellent.

The clearVac pond vacuum they sell is top notch! I’ve been using it for over 4 years and it’s worth every penny!

Lovely website, easy to use, I called to check stock and the chap called me back within the hour, my item was despatched same day and arrived the following day. Excellent service, couldn't be happier with their service. I would highly recommend.

Japanese trap door snails. Arrived well packaged. And arrived quickly. All alive and happily eating up algae in my back yard pond.

I would give them zero but it isn’t an option. Do not use this company. I ordered a new pump and told them it was an emergency. Paid extra for 2 day shipping. They didn’t send it and I had to call for several days speaking with people who said they couldn’t tell me the status of my telephone order. When I finally spoke to a supervisor, all she would say was it was a “glitch”. Their glitch has already cost me two of my beautiful fish. I asked to speak to the owner after “customer care” was not responsive and just kept telling me “good news we are shipping your item now and we won’t charge you for two day shipping”. I was told I could not be given the owners contact information. I kept insisting and was finally told he would call me, which of course he didn’t. Please do not trust your precious fish to this uncaring company. Do not risk ordering from them. Horrible customer service!

I highly recommend The Pond Guy for their high quality products and consistently very useful information and professional/courteous on line help via "Ask An Expert". Each of the technical staff I've chatted with have been a fund of very helpful knowledge. Go to The Pond Guy for all your pond needs.

Contacted the pond guy as I had a leak in the pond. He convinced me to spend over £4000 on a new filtration system. He quickly emptied the pond installed the equipment and left without fixing the leak. Then refused to come back and repair it. All he is interested in is supplying and fitting expensive equipment. The guy is a crook Do not use

I think the Pond Guy is an awesome one-stop shop if you're new to water gardens and/or caring for Koi:)

Yes, you can go hunt around the web and get products exactly like the ones from their inventory... for cheaper... even more aptly tailored to your Koi Pond's needs elsewhere cheaper... but you gotta start somewhere, and I can genuinely say this is a great place for people new to Koi.
