Completely Unprofessional — Cannot Recommend Therapies on Thames
I don’t usually leave reviews, but I now feel compelled to because of what has happened with Therapies on Thames.
I approached them in good faith to arrange care for my 93‑year‑old mother. On Wednesday 10 December 2025 I was asked to provide all of her information, with no indication that new patients could not be taken on. If they were not accepting patients, why ask for all that information? That should have been known and communicated from the very beginning.
What shocked me further was being asked whether I, or someone connected to me, had left a negative review about the service. This was not the case. In fact, no review could possibly have been left because we had not even used the service, nor had I discussed it with anybody. I am convinced this situation is connected to the mistaken belief that we had left a negative review, which feels wholly inappropriate and unprofessional.
Since sending my concerns across, there has been no communication at all. I find this wholly unacceptable and very unprofessional.
My priority is my mother’s wellbeing, and the way this situation has been managed has left me disappointed and concerned about the professionalism of the service. As a result of all of this, I cannot recommend Therapies on Thames. Clear communication and respect should be the minimum standard when dealing with families seeking support.
