Therapy Practice Accelerator transformed and deepened my understanding of what it means to successfully initiate and grow a private pay private therapy practice. The program helps identify misconceptions and errors in thinking that limit therapists' potential. The education modules helped me identify who my ideal clients are and how to find and help them. My coach Jeremy was skillful throughout the entire year helping me turn theory into action. I also have a great practice website now. The formation of it was a collaborative effort with Jeremey guiding the process. Nate was very effective helping me with visibility on Google searches.

Hiring TPA to help me grow my practice by building a website, expanding my referral network, and operating google ads was a fabulous investment that absolutely paid off. If you are considering doing the program it will be worth your time and money only if you are willing to put in the work, and this is one of the core tenants of TPA..."teach a man to fish." While easy to get frustrated by this if you're expecting them to do all the work for you, learning to do it yourself makes all of this far more sustainable and will make your practice more successful in the long run.

If you join TPA you will be incredibly supported along the way. Every week there are office hours calls, accountability and planning calls, and technical support calls when you're figuring out your Google ads strategy. You will also have a dedicated point-person to help you along the way. You should absolutely arrange your schedule around these and attend them.

I was not a perfect TPA-er. I moved at a snail's pace, barely made it to Google ads by the end of my year, and fell off track for several weeks at a time. AND I still met the goals I set for my private pay practice. 80% really is perfect. I've also noticed how many of the core teachings and tenants have translated to my life outside of TPA and I will be forever grateful to TPA for this. If you want to grow your practice, are open to being coachable, and are willing to put in time and get uncomfortable, you will benefit from this program greatly, both professionally and personally.

Therapy Practice Accelerator has been a great support for me as I worked to grow my private cash-pay practice over the past year. They provided a lot of important information, tools, and guidance that I needed to learn skills, manage administrative business tasks, and troubleshoot to get more clients and develop my practice. I put in the time and effort to utilize all their offerings - there was definitely quite a bit of ‘showing up’ and doing the work involved, and I planned on 3-4 hours a week of zoom calls and coaching meetings, plus a few hours of online learning with their educational modules, and then actually doing the writing, networking, and outreach to put it all into practice. They built a great website that clients say ‘speaks to them.’ My coach, Laila, was so helpful throughout the year, and everyone I worked with was professional and skilled. The few times I had concerns about something, the team was responsive and resolved the issues. I definitely feel I got my ROI, and more than just in the financial sense. TPA delivered a comprehensive program and a community of like-minded professionals that helped me build a solid foundation for my practice moving forward. My advice for success in TPA: arrange your schedule to be able to attend the several calls a week they offer, and invest enough time to do the work. Be an active participant, and learn from others in the program, not just the staff. TPA is a growth experience!

I completed the Therapy Practice Accelerator program and had a very positive experience. From the start, I felt supported and understood—not just as a business owner, but as a therapist.
They were flexible and reasonable with tuition, which made a big difference, and the weekly meetings consistently felt supportive and grounding. I never felt rushed or dismissed; questions were welcomed and met with thoughtful guidance.

TPA provided the tools and guidance I needed to transform my practice into exactly what I wanted it to be. Through the program, I developed a tremendous website and learned effective alternative ways to market my practice. The modules walk you step by step through the process, helping you think like a business manager of a counseling practice—not just a clinician.

By establishing multiple vectors for attracting new clients—far beyond Psychology Today—including strong Google campaigns and an organically built referral network, my practice has expanded exponentially.

This is not an easy process, and that’s important to acknowledge. I committed 3–4 hours per week to working on my business, and that investment was key. Participating in the online groups has been instrumental, allowing me to learn from others and fine-tune my marketing strategy in real time.

As a result, I am very close to becoming a 100% private-pay practice.

Its a sham... If your schedule changes and you cannot meet on the schedule that you had signed up for then forget it. Once they're paid you might as well kiss your money goodbye. I had to go back to the office and when that happened I wasn't able to meet on the schedule that I had signed up for and asked for some additional times but was told the schedules were set and that I knew that coming into it. Its sucks!!! I am sure its great for some but it wasn't for me!

Hands down would recommend this program to any therapist looking to build their ideal practice. I was completely in the dark on the business side of things but spent years helping others build their group practices, Starting my own seemed daunting and confusing. TPA walks you clearly and easily through all of the steps. I found the pacing of the program to be perfect for me. I didn't realize until my time with them was over just how much I accomplished in a short time. They walked me through the heavy lifting part. Their staff are incredibly supportive and genuine, you can tell they love their work and want you to succeed.

If you do the steps the way they outline them, and participate in their offerings, you will have a successful practice. I can't recommend them enough.

TPA is LEGIT! From my first week with them I felt I was going to get a Masters- level education on how to build a practice. I got so much more. Their whole approach is well thought through and cohesive.

I started with them in 2016 and 9 years later I am still using what I learned there - I haven't had to worry about my private practice because I know what I'm doing. TPA taught me how to think through all aspects of my practice. Can't say enough good about this program!

I probably couldn't have survived the last year without TPA. They gave me hope, direction, and a plan to build my practice. They helped me to narrow down my vision and focus on my ideal practice. The website they designed is beautiful and the training on Google ads is something I'll use for years to come. And the combination of the 2 is bringing in potential clients every week. It is a great program that is worth every penny!

They talk a lot about ROI. Well, I didn't get a single call/client/lead from the website they designed, the PT profile they edited, or the Google Ads. Before asking, I did go to the GA meetings every week and did everything they suggested. There were changes in staff that I didn't know about that I wasn't aware of for over a month. I sent things in for editing and it took up to 2 months to get them back. Because of these things they extended my time twice. It was a total waste of time and money.

I've been working with TPA for about 5 months and it has been transformational. They have a unique approach to helping mental health professionals (I'm a grief counselor) clarify EXACTLY what their unique offer is and who is their Ideal Client. What is my unique gift - and who can benefit from it? After those two foundational steps have been clarified, TPA then provides a specific and engaging roadmap on how to actualize that offer in the marketplace. Their unique and compelling method involves both private and group coaching, as well as a well-structured and powerful online tutorial program that unfolds over the course of many months. TPA helped me first of all own my identity as an entrepenuer and business owner. I resisted this identity coming into TPA. I thought that being a great therapist made me entitled to have a successful practice. I now understand it takes a lot more than that. I gained confidence in networking. I made an amazing website and ads that have attracted consistent leads and clients. I had accountability to keep taking steps forward even when things felt discouraging. My last 4 months in TPA my profit more than doubled what I made the first 4 months of TPA. TPA is not for those that don't want to work or take responsibility but if you are looking for guidance and want to grow as a practice owner and are willing to put in a lot of work, and make yourself uncomfortable, the investment is well worth it.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who was misled into enrolling in the Therapy Practice Accelerator (TPA) program, which was financed through Covered Care. I was promised that the program would significantly increase my caseload within a month and “double my clients” within two months. None of these promises were fulfilled.

After a sales call, I was immediately enrolled in a payment plan to “help cover the costs initially.” Without any clear results or follow-through, I have already paid over $4,000, and I am still being charged on a $10,014.61 loan with an interest rate of 24%.

When I asked to cancel after realizing the program did not deliver what was promised, I was met with resistance and no meaningful resolution. As a licensed professional who values ethics and transparency, I am appalled at how this company markets to therapists who are simply trying to grow their practices.

Please be cautious before signing any agreement or financing through this company. Their tactics feel predatory and deceptive, preying on mental health professionals who are just trying to serve their clients and make an honest living.

I graduated TPA several years ago. TPA helped me set up my website and my Google Ads when I was student in about 2019. Recently, I had to make changes to both my website and Google Ads. When I ran into issues I didn't know the answer to, I reached out to TPA. TPA has responded quickly and helped me easily figure out how to move forward. Even after finishing their program, they are there to provide support.

Late 2022, I had just started my private practice and knew what I wanted to create, but not how to do it alone. I was the corporate girl who knew the business, but not how to make the business work for ME. I had a 5 month old and I knew corporate life wasn't for me anymore. Enter TPA ads. Wow...what can I say?! When I first came across this program, I honestly thought it was a scam. I was deep in the weeds, stalking Psychology Today profiles, cold calling, and interviewing, trying to figure out if I was right. I quickly determined, I was wrong. It is indeed real.

The program wasn’t “easy”, there was real work, self-discovery, and digging deep on my part. But by following their process, I had my website and Google Ads up by February, and soon after, I quit my corporate job. By graduation, I had already hired two therapists and cleared 6 figures my first year! From there, I signed up for another year of mentorship, during which I increased my profits by 50%, bought and renovated an office building, welcomed a new baby, expanded my team, and had an intern.

This is my first year not officially in a program with TPA, yet I still lean on them for website needs or advice. Every single time, they are there! I’m on track to double my income again, my team has doubled in size, and we’re preparing to possibly purchase another office building to accommodate the growth and future plans to integrate medication management services.

TPA isn’t a quick fix....it requires commitment, consistency, and trust in the process. BUT if you put in the work, the results are real. I couldn’t recommend them more and will forever be grateful for their guidance and support. Because of TPA, I get to truly enjoy my life and my practice.
