I had a fantastic experience purchasing a riser recliner chair for my Dad from Paul at the Recliner Showroom in Gorey. He showed me the various chairs on offer, let me try them out and found one that suited my Dad's needs and our budget perfectly. The fact that he offers a repair service on the chairs should it be needed down the line was the clincher. He also delivered the chair to my Dad's place personally and ensured by Dad was happy with everything before leaving him to it which was great. Highly recommend!

Paul was very helpful when I went with my Mam to purchase an orthopaedic recliner chair which she needed. Delivery was fast and efficient. The chair has really helped Mam in recent months. She had fractured her lower back and the chair is one of the only places she has been able to find comfort. Thank you Paul for all your help.

We were looking into riser recliner chairs for my parents (70s/80s) both of whom have health issues that affect the mobility and ability to rise safely from a seated position. As they spend quite a bit of time in a seated position finding chairs that support their joints, back and pain issues was increasingly difficult until we contacted Paul Quinn at The Recliner Showroom. From making the appointment and having spent two hours in the showroom with Paul, he was very professional, personable and friendly while also being knowledgeable about the chairs and how they would meet the needs of my parents. We couldn't be happier with the chairs and the service we received from Paul and would highly recommend talking to him first. One final concern I had was that if the electricity went out while the chairs were in use (it does happen) was there a manual override to enable them to get out of the chairs safely Paul informed us that there is a battery available to buy that would run the chairs for us, and an added bonus when that happens is the chairs can also be heated which would help in this situation as my parents heating is reliant on electricity, so comfort and heat all in one.

I bought a lazy boy in 2006 for my wife, end ofJune 2026 the handle to lift up the legs broke. I must have made 10 phone call nobody doing maintenance on them in Cork. Phoned UK head office and they said to try Recliner Showrooom. Well I spoke to Paul Quinn and he couldn't have been more helpful, got me to make a Video and he said he could fix it. Arrived in Cork from Gorey had all equipment in a Big white Van, fixed it in 2 hours and now we are back in business. Super efficient and a gentlemen to deal with. I was delighted he was able to fit me in.

Long drive from Gorey. I can recommend his firm and I now know where to buy my next one. Well done Paul Quinn.

I am a returning customer to Paul , I. Have previously purchased 3 recliner chairs from him 2 for my home and one for a holiday home in Kerry , they are all in constant use and are extremely comfortable , despite being a few years old they still look new and all the mechanisms are perfect. Paul has always been so professional, so friendly and goes out of his way to provide the best chair for you.

There was a great selection of chairs to try out when we arrived for the assessment which meant that the most appropriate chair could be selected. The assessment was thorough and informative. We did not have to wait long for our chair and we are extremely happy with the new chair. The whole experience was brilliant.

I contacted Paul Friday evening about fixing 2 recliner chairs and he came to my house the following Monday before lunch and repaired them perfectly. I’m based an hour away from him and it was no problem for him to travel that far. Superb service and delighted with how quick and easily he replaced parts and got them working again. Having first dealt with The Recliner Showroom about 8 years ago and having had a wonderful experience the first time around I decided to purchase a second Recliner from them for another room in my home, I can only say that dealing with Paul again was an absolute pleasure, if this is the level of service that Paul provides to all his customers I can honestly say that he is one in a million, kind, considerate and a pleasure to buy from, I had a very slight issue with my first chair after all those years whereby a cable got pulled from the power supply, I phoned Paul who dropped everything and travelled to me the very next day to Dunmore east, Co Waterford, Paul understands the importance of mobility chairs and how essential they are to his customers by making sure that they keep operating as they should, I could go on and on but will finish by saying, Thank you Paul. Called Paul to see if he had a remote for the chair I had. As I was struggling to get thecpart anywhere. Said he had remotes in stock. So I called up to him with the base of the chair and not only did he have the remote but fixed one of the pins on rams too. Had it done in less than 10 mins.
