Beter geen label en frisse lucht dan een E label

Wanneer je een oud huis hebt en geen zonnepanelen, geen isolatie, oud dubbelglas en geen warmtepomp hebt
( totale investering 25.000 euro) dan kun je beter geen energielabel hebben dan een E label.

Wij hebben wel het dak vernieuwd en geisoleerd en mbv murprotec voor een gezonde ventilatie van frisse lucht en een.blokkade tegen optrekkend vocht in de spouw muren. (25.000 euro)

Ik besteed nu gemiddeld per maand 130 euro per maand aan gas en electra.

daar komt nu 242 euro bij voor nutteloze labeling .

Ik stop nu met verduurzamen:
lage maandelijkse kosten
frisse lucht in het hele huis

Nooit meer samenwerken met dit bedrijf

In maart aan Renewable een opdracht gegeven voor een energielabel en maatwerkadvies. Helaas is het een compleet fiasco geworden. Bij de intake heb ik 3x aan verschillende personen mijn vraag moet uitleggen en pas na enige druk lukte het een afspraak te krijgen. De afgesproken levering binnen 14 dagen is niet door Renewable gerealiseerd en pas na forse druk kwam het label. Het maatwerkadvies is nooit gekomen! Wel kwamen de facturen, deze werden binnen 1 dag na opname gestuurd en ook de herinnering kwamen terwijl de opdracht niet was uitgevoerd. Uiteindelijk de opdracht wegens wanprestratie beëdindigd. NOOIT ZAKEN DOEN MET DIT BEDRIJF. Helaas zijn is 1 ster het minimum maar het zou -1 ster moeten zijn.

Avoid at all costs

Worst mistake I made was buying my solar system through this company.
On the positive, Barrie is a real asset to the company and goes above and beyond, however, that is the only positive. I should have followed my gut instincts and cancelled this contract as soon as things failed to go according to plan, I would have saved myself a lot of stress. I would strongly urge you to ignore any response that the director, Matt Walker, may provide as he obviously needs to protect his company but he alone is the biggest problem as he truly believes that he can run his company as he sees fit, regardless of regulation and legislation and the customer's view is irrelevant to him!

This is a small company in Essex who uses contractors to complete installations. They do not have contractors in West Wales and the contractors they used for my installation (from South Wales) had not installed this system before.

They advertise that the workmanship is protected by HIES but they have moved away from these insurers and are now with IWA. This is not reflected on their website. I still don't have a copy of my warranty and my installation took place 4 months ago.

I would put this review on Which too to warn others as they were a Which Trusted Installer but I can't find them on there anymore despite them advertising as such

I took a great deal of time reviewing the companies prior to my decision to proceed with this company and built up a good relationship but this changed instantly when I put in a formal complaint having been messed about at every stage. I saw Matt's true colours then as I asked for compensation!! He is not a nice person and is not competent in project management. Yes, it is actually the Director who organises the work and if he's not there nothing happens!

If I had known this at the outset I would not have gone with this company as I can't imagine they will be around to support the lifetime of my system and you really need them as Sigen is Business to Business.

My advice would be save yourself a lot of stress and hassle and use a competent company.

Note: The negative review just before mine seems to be from the electrician who commissioned my system. The original electrician had not installed a Sigen before and spent quite a bit of time on the phone to their installers helpline. He was not sick but was unable to provide a date when he could return to finish the job. Matt then contacted Paul to get him to finish the job. One of the delays I experienced was because the scaffolders failed to arrive when planned. I wouldn't be surprised if Matt played the same stunt on them which is why he received an email the day of the planned scaffolding erection to say they wouldn't be coming. He told me it was because it was too far 🤔

Scamming Contractors

Back Last October Matthew from The Renewable Energy Company called us asking for help in west wales. His current electrician fell ill and left them needing an electrician half way through a job. We agreed to help for a cost of £850.00. We attended site and finished the install and commissioned it. We also had to buy £250.00 worth of additional installation consumables. After we issued the commissioning details, we didn’t hear from him and now doesn’t answer the phone. Companies like these make me sick!

I recently worked with Rhe Renewable energy company and was thoroughly impressed with their service from start to finish. Their sales consultation with John was informative and tailored to my energy needs, providing a detailed proposal with clear cost savings and a timeline. The installation team was punctual, courteous, and skilled, completing the job efficiently with minimal disruption and ensuring everything was clean and tidy afterward. They also took the time to explain the system's operation thoroughly.

I have been extremely pleased with my…

I have been extremely pleased with my solar installation. I was advised by the TREC associate and given all of the options in my budget. I had done a fair amount of research before hand so was vaguely familiar with what I wanted to achieve. I was very pleasantly surprised with what I was able to have installed as TREC was very competitive against other quotes. All of the calculated outputs have been met or exceeded and my combined bills have fallen from £390 a month down to less than £125 averaged over the year. There were one or two teething problems but these were solved by the technical engineers with over the air software updates. TREC has been at the end of the phone to answer all of my newbie questions and the ones they couldn’t answer right away were answered as soon as they got the info

Fantastic service

From the first contact with Sean Fuller, I knew this company was the right choice. I was given many tech options and each one was as explained.
Sean informed me that their fitters were the best and he wasn’t wrong! Connor and his team did an amazing job of the install. Discussing options for the kit, keeping me informed and a demo at the end. I can rate the company and installers highly enough!

No client servicing

I judge a company on how they react when there is a problem. Installation and commercial part went ok. Things went wrong when I asked for a follow up service back in November 2023. Luke said it was possible. I chased multiple times and it was never done. I was very patient as I waited till February before I hired a different company to do the job. I felt I was not treated seriously and I lost my trust in this company’s ability to do any client servicing.

FURTHER CLARIFICATION POST COMPANY REPLY:
Contrary to what is written below, I have tried to find a resolution via both emails and phone. Similarly, though Luke was my main contact, I reached out to others via email in the company who made the choice not to take action/escalate (e.g. Georges).

For reference:
-Emails exchanges happened on: 13 Dec, 12 Dec, 9 Dec 5 Dec and 8 Nov
-Phone calls happened on: 19 Dec, 12 Dec, 29 Nov, 27 Nov, and 8 Nov

Though I appreciate that time was taken to apology, I do not think I am not responsible in any way for the company communication dysfuctions.

I have looked on our system and cannot see any communications from you after our initial installation.

This confused me as I have communication from you via email right the way up to and after your works were completed.

However, I have taken the time to speak with the individual you mentioned above, Luke. Who ceased working with our company in December.

Firstly I'd like to apologise, Luke confirmed that you asked us to come and remove and de-commission and then re-commission your system.

This request was never formalised before Luke was removed from he's position and that's what I'd like to apologise for.

His removal from post is directly linked to the type of scenario you describe and for that I am truly sorry.

I'm deeply disappointed that some of our customers were affected by the poor standards displayed before he's removal and I've taken the matter as seriously as I can by removing and replacing him.

Ultimately, you are a valued customer of ours and whilst I'm happy that the works you contracted us to do went as planned, I'm bitterly disappointed that we were not responsive enough for your second order.

I am also disappointed that you haven't reached out to the company directly, it seems that all communications on these requests were delivered to Luke's personal telephone and that is how our system was not aware of your secondary request during his time with us, or afterwards.

Please, in any instance use our official company telephone number and email communication channels as these are the correct ways to communicate with us.

Again, please accept my sincere apologies for your experience. If you can reach out to me at your convenience, I'd like to discuss what's gone on and attempt to repair the relationship between us.

Your posts starts with the line

There wasn't a problem with your system. Your system worked perfectly and we had delivered the service we were contracted for.

You made a secondary request for services and that's where we have let you down. We haven't been unreactive to a 'problem'.

I find highly unfair that you would describe your view of us as 1 star when we delivered the services we were contracted to do with success. This secondary request, whilst undeniably valid, was a secondary request. It's a completely separate purchase order from us.

I have requested that you contact me directly so I can address this and I still welcome you to do so.

All I would ask is that you be balanced in how you are describing your experience with us. I wholeheartedly accept blame and responsibility for us not being good enough in this second instance, just as you should accept your initial experience with us was far from a 1 star service.

If that was the case, i doubt very highly you'd be asking us back for a second round of works.

As I said, I'm very eager to discuss this with you directly, firstly so I can address you personally, and more importantly so I can get insight that can help us improve our services.

We are a growing company and like most we've faced obstacles. Customer feedback, especially the negative, is incredibly helpful for us to continue to get better and for that I say thankyou.

I respect your opinion, I just believe a 1 star review is not representative of your overarching experience with us.

First and foremost, communication with The Renewable Energy Company LTD proved to be a major challenge. Attempting to get in touch with their customer service team often felt like a futile exercise. Queries and concerns were met with delayed responses, leaving me feeling frustrated and neglected. Effective communication is a cornerstone of any reputable company, and the lack thereof significantly tarnished my experience.

Furthermore, the installation process was marred by poor timing and an unprofessional approach. The promised installation schedule was not adhered to, causing unnecessary delays and inconvenience. The lack of punctuality not only demonstrated a disregard for customers' time but also raised questions about the company's commitment to fulfilling their obligations.

The installation team's unprofessionalism was evident in their approach and execution. Instead of a smooth and efficient process, I encountered careless workmanship that suggested a lack of expertise and attention to detail. This lack of professionalism only added to the growing list of grievances, leaving me with a subpar renewable energy system.

Overall, my experience with The Renewable Energy Company LTD was undeniably negative. The combination of poor communication, delayed installations, and unprofessional conduct left me with a sense of dissatisfaction and regret. I strongly caution others considering their services to thoroughly research and reconsider before engaging with this company. In the realm of renewable energy, where trust and reliability are paramount, The Renewable Energy Company LTD fell disappointingly short of expectations.

issues have not been solved until today, although installation has been completed in May.

Absolutely incredible

Absolutely incredible service from start to finish. Steve & Luke have given us fantastic advice & guided us through the whole installation. Customer service is outstanding.

Amazing

Extremely Happy with my purchase and the service provided by George, the installers, office and after sales app tutoring. Everything works well and has made a huge difference to the daily cost of electric so I am really happy to invest in green energy for both cost and environment preservation purposes.
