Excellent service as usual. Delivered as requested by a cheerful and extremely helpful young man. Haven't used any of the salt yet so can't comment on quality but five star communication and service.

Great value and reliable delivery every time

I have never had problems before with the Salt shop and rated them highly, however, my recent experience was disappointing. I had previously ordered 40 bags of salt and this time the website only allowed for a maximum of 20 per order. I called their office and was advised that the maximum was 40 due to limits on supply which was fair enough. However, I was also advised that I could place 2 orders for 20 blocks each. This was strange advice but also disappointing that I could do that and not take advantage of the reduced price if I have placed a single order of 40.
After ordering, and as per the process, I received an email one day that the salt was out for delivery. Previously, I also received a phone call to advise they were on the way but not this time, which was fine if it got delivered to the right address. By 7pm, I had not received my salt and my wife had seen a post on Facebook that the salt was delivered to someone else's house. It was luck that my wife saw this and we then managed to drive over and load the car with the 40 blocks and then bring it home.

I then called the saltshop the next morning and the lady who answered told me that she did not work there and that someone would call me back. She took my name and number but I never received a call back for the next 2 days. I then called back again and another lady answered and said it wasn't her who delivered and it was someone else and he would call me back. I never got called back with a simple apology.
In summary, it was disappointing that I could order 40 blocks but through 2 orders and paying a higher price. Then it was delivered to the wrong address and then I never got called back for a simple apology.

Fantastic service - kept updated at each stage of the order and delivery process and the salt was delivered ahead of the estimated date. Very friendly delivery driver who was more than happy to stack the salt exactly where I wanted. Will definitely use again.

Brilliant service. I was expecting to wait several days for delivery of salt for my water softener but it arrived within 48 hrs. Great price, no delivery charge to my address, I will definitely use the Salt Shop again and recommend it to others.
