I trust the lights. I don’t trust the terrible customer service. First order was wrong, fine, I emailed them. This was the start of the issue. Massive delay in a reply, they sent my correct item which was damaged beyond repair. I attempted a return, they tried their best to refuse it. I finally returned it and they are now lying claiming they do not have it and they ‘spoke to Royal Mail’ funny how my tracking says they have it. No issues at all with the product if it arrives, the items are great. The refund process is not.

I had a small bit missing in my order and spoke to ELLA from support team she was very helpful, excellent service.

I purchased two solar lights and after a short time one stopped working. I liaised with Ella and Nicole who resolved the issue without question sending another light out immediately. I have bought solar lights from this company several times and whenever there has been an issue it has been resolved swiftly, that’s what makes me go back for the excellent support should anything go wrong.

I believe you can always judge a company by the quality of their products, but the aftercare when something goes wrong is what sets them apart.
We bought two sets of their Ballon Solar Festoon Lights for the garden, but when one bulb stopped working I contacted their Customer Service. Ella was super helpful and arranged a replacement set without any quibble. Very satisfied customer.

My complaint has been ongoing for over a month, with slow responses, repeated delays, and customer service that I found patronising and dismissive. Despite explaining the issue multiple times, my concerns were repeatedly ignored and I was asked the same basic troubleshooting questions instead of my return request being dealt with.

This should have been a simple issue to resolve, but it turned into weeks of frustration with no meaningful customer service. Based on my experience, I would not buy from this company again and cannot recommend them.

Wow unbelievable poor customer service. Ordered lights 13th June arrived 14th. Phoned 15th wrong items said they would send items out and I would have them next day. Returned the wrong items a week later still not received my lights. Phoned Monday morning said will be with you tomorrow.Thursday still no lights so phoned this morning asked for refund when I explained why it was oh ok😳

First time using this company and the wrong order has been received. No response from them despite 3 days and two mails.. can’t return them until they issue a return label.. very poor customer service.

Purchased 7 re-chargeable Flickering flame garden lights 03/25. 1 spike broke after 3 months which was replaced. A further light broke in May 2026 and I had to battle to get a £20 voucher for a £25 light, which I could use when re-purchasing. A further 4 lights have broken so I won't be re-purchasing. So I'm out of pocket. Will be interesting to hear what they say about the latest light failures.

First purchase. Ordered the solar sphere stake lights, they look stunning. Clear instructions and well packaged. Waited the 5 days of solar charging before switching on, and as said “stunning”, they look good quality and value for money. Obviously early days, but reading other reviews it seems like the company acts on any problems, so I will be quite happy to order again.

Ordered yesterday as spotted some very cute mushroom lights.

Order came today, highly excited, brought inside to open. Did think the package seemed large, but I hadn't checked the size of the lights (typical for me). On opening I have someone else's order, the name on the bag is mine but the contents are not.

Have emailed but got a response saying that they'd reply in 1-3 days.

Waiting on a response.

The solar centre has a fantastic range of lights and we have bought many of them over the years for our garden and also as gifts to friends. When some fairy lights stopped working recently we received excellent customer service from Ella and the faulty ones were replaced straight away. I really recommend this company and their lights have given us much pleasure over the years.

Absolutely excellent service good product will definitely use again

Absolutely appalling experience from ordering through to customer 'service'. I ordered an item as a gift to be sent to an address other than mine. I had to check a box stating delivery address was different than billing and enter this address - fine. Website did not ask me if this was to be a default mailing address. THEN i ordered something for myself. I was asked to and actually ENTERED my own address, pressed enter...and the order was immediately completed and sent to the address for previous order, i wasnt asked permission to send to an address other than billing. I know that the website glitched because this second order isnt showing on website but i have been charged.

Website says 'email if any issues with your order' and doesnt allow you make any changes yourself (even on orders that are showing). I do this. Customer 'service' took a working week to respond and all they said was 'order already shipped'. Didnt look into the issue on their computer. I replied that i was not happy with their response and got another reply 'we're busy, you should phone with urgent queries'.....basically solar centre customer service cba!

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! Zero stars if I could! Terrible customer service, takes ages to respond. Sent me a defective item, which I sent back to them, to which they claim had no fault, so basically they are calling me a liar, and now I am awaiting a refund! I have had to file a claim against them because they are taking their sweet time refunding me. Not happy at all, and I will never buy from this company again, and if you had any sense, you wouldn't either!
Update: Promised me a refund today 01/06/2026 and they STILL HAVEN'T REFUNDED ME!

Have bought a number of products in their ranges for our garden over the past 4 or 5 months and I will be honest; they do look great. BUT I have just had to email AGAIN to inform them of more faults with the items purchased in good faith. That must be the 3rd or 4th time which surely is not right - i mean are they supposed to be able to withstand being outdoors so why the failures. Customer service responses to deal with issues and ship out replacements is good however i have real reservations about their overall product quality control standards.

Peak pro solar lights. We ordered 11 altogether. 7 have failed within 2 months. They have replaced 2 of the lights and I have requested a replacement for the remaining failed lights. This really isnt on considering they are £20 a unit. Can't be as good a quality as description on website. The batteries are rustynsonl leaking in to the units

Would leave no stars if possible, shocking customer service parcel is missing never received it won’t replace or refund basically blaming the customer

I bought the Shadworth light back in November, it failed straight way. I was sent a replacement and didn't use it over the winter so brought it out a few weeks ago, charging the solar panel (very small) for a couple of weeks. Needless to say, It didn't work. I didn't want another but was told by Solar Centre that because I was one week over the warranty ( 6 months) I couldn't be refunded or receive a credit toward a more expensive item. So I had to accept a replacement. Really bad - bad enough being sent items that don't work and then no flexibility with the 'company policy'. If I hadn't followed all the checks they tell you to before confirming the fault it would still have been under warranty. I have been a customer for years as well making several purchases. Has put me off purchasing again. So please be aware, up until now I have found the company good but something seems to have changed.

I have used the solar centre many times over the years for their products with 100% satisfaction, they provided great long lasting quality products at a good price.
Ella and Nicole in customer support are fantastic and a credit to the company.

Still waiting for refund 15/5/26 they received products on 8/5/26.

The mushroom lights retuned were not used as they were so flimsy they would not have lasted anytime at all due to poor quality.

They said I should have watched the video about them, I said it should have been in the description.
Not a company I will deal with again.
