Spirit Co time travels Sassenach Spirits

I am going into my 5th customer year at the Spirit Co from my home in the Midwest of the US. During that time I have predominately shipped Sassenach Whisky and now its Gin and Vodka to three countries including several states multiple times. My orders have ranged in size from one bottle to thirty being the most recent. My orders are always with the same respect despite the number.. Customer service always starts from the top. Mr. Ben Eustace, the Managing Director, ALWAYS has been able to procure these most sought after spirits when others could not. Shipping is very efficient and the beautiful bottles well protected even across the Atlantic. I will remain.SASSENACHED!

I have nothing but praise for The Spirit Co - the Gin calendar I ordered for a Christmas arrived on time and was exactly as described. Good quality gin selection. I had a few queries before I ordered and every question was answered well and quickly.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

Ordered for Christmas gift. Order was never dispatched. Have sent numerous emails with no response. Cannot get through on the phone - they only have a voicemail service and no one responds. DO NOT ORDER from this company. Still not sure if this is a case of simply appalling customer service or something more sinister.

Does not communicate at all about shipments. Charges card and and does not ship after 6 weeks and nothing. Do not order from them. Lost hundreds of dollars.

My recent experience has been very stressful

My recent experience has been very disappointing. I placed an order on the 18th and, after receiving the initial "thank you" email, heard nothing for days.

I had to proactively contact the company via email and phone. On the 24th, Oscar finally emailed me with tracking numbers. While appreciated, the tracking immediately showed that only a shipping label had been created, and the package had not actually been shipped.

Crucially, I paid for Express Shipping (3-10 days to the US). It is now the 29th (11 days later), and the tracking status is still "label created." The item has not yet been handed over to the carrier. Despite emailing again on the 26th and 27th, I still have no update. I've been a repeat customer (two prior orders with no problems), but this lack of progress and slow response is unacceptable. I will update later.

Zero Customer Service

So, so poor. Received broken bottles in post - informed them immediately (even took a video of unboxing). Zero comms or customer service! I’ve been a Master of Malt Prime member for ages and order a fair bit of booze - wouldn’t touch this company with a barge-pole. Reallynooor service.

I ordered a gift for my partner's…

I ordered a gift for my partner's birthday from The Spirit Co. They sent it out the same day, though unfortunately there was an issue with the delivery courier (nothing to do with The Spirit Co) and the parcel didn't arrive. I contacted them and they very quickly sent another out next day delivery for me. Thankfully this time it arrived and in time for my partner's birthday too. The customer service was excellent, and they did what they could to ensure a top service was delivered.
Would use them again, and recommend. Many thanks!

10/10 would suggest!

I worked with Ben to plan this event and he was so helpful and informative. He found me a great product that would be something different and exciting for our virtual team happy hour. Our host, Felipe, really wowed my group! Full of information and very funny, I am still receiving kudos from the team for this experience and for the host specifically. 10/10 would suggest working with this company!

What a relief to find a company that are honest and reliable. Ted was quick to respond to any enquiries I had and the delivery was perfectly packed and received. I will definitely recommend to others.

Order never received and no follow up

I placed an order on 12/13/24 and the website stated that the last date to order for guaranteed delivery before Christmas was 12/15/24. It is now 12/23/24 and I have not received any shipping or tracking information. I have sent 2 emails requesting an update and if unable to provide any information to request a refund. I have not received a single response and at this time I am out over $228 and will need to dispute this with my credit card company. VERY DISAPPOINTED in the lack of follow up/customer service.

We are very disappointed to find 6 bottles missing from our Irish Whiskey Advent Calender, opened today! Have emailed the company with photos and asked for a refund. Will update this review once I've heard back from them.

Purchase Happy.... Tracking needs improvement

Ordered two bottle from them for delivery to Ireland. Website says delivery to UK,EU and USA. Received a confirmation email for purchase, but i never heard anything back from them after purchase. Concerned, i email their support team and they informed me they don't provide tracking information outside of the UK but assured me my package cleared customs in Dublin and would be with me in the next 2 business days. They were correct and i received my order in perfect condition and i am very much happy and would buy from them again. My only downfall is no tracking information or even an email to confirm it has been shipped. Room for improvement there but overall happy to shop with them.

I was a little worried after ordering…

I was a little worried after ordering when I didn't hear anything for a few days, and I looked on trust pilot and didn't see any reviews! I emailed the company and they assured me they were legitimate. A few days later I received my order of a gin advent calendar. Not tried any yet but we opened it and looks great.
