Please stay away from this company. They have stolen our money (£330.00). False promises and lies throughout the whole process (3 months now), and they have now gone completely cold on us - with our money in hand. Absolutely shameful.

I had a very disappointing experience with this company. Initially, they seemed eager to take on my job and were quick to accept it. However, it soon became clear that their main concern was getting paid as quickly as possible. They put my job in a queue without completing it as promised. After waiting for two weeks, they informed me that they did not have the time to finish the job. They assured me that my money would be refunded within three days and even sent me an invoice cancellation. However, it has now been eight days and I still haven't received my refund. What's worse is the complete lack of communication from this company. They have not answered any of my phone calls, WhatsApp messages, or emails. This unprofessional behavior has left me feeling disrespected and frustrated. Considering that £240 is a significant amount of money for me, I am left with no choice but to escalate this issue further. If it were possible to give 0 stars then they’d deserve it. Asked for simple calculations, they said fine, we have a 7 day turnaround. Made the mistake of paying and since then it’s been nothing but missed deadlines and broken promises. Headed to court to get the money back as they don’t seem interested in responding at all.

I recently had a survey carried out by DSP structural engineers ,Emswoth. The survey was completed on the day arranged and the survey was very comprehensive and informative. The surveyor explained everything to us and explained his reasoning. I would recommend him to everyone who needs a structural surveyor.

STAY CLEAR!! Wow I’m so happy I never parted with my money :) reading these reviews completely made me change my mind, and the fact that got me suspicious is this thing or person sent me an invoice for today, and expected me to pay today.. yes 🙌 alarm bells rang .. Then I asked them to call me so I could confirm I was talking to someone genuine 🤙 they refused, so I had a conversation on WhatsApp they said they don’t work on a Saturday, but they was happy to snatch my money on a Saturday- I then asked them “are you on trust pilot and they sent me a message and said “I think I will give this job a miss lol SCAM SCAM SCAM

Company director listed as Elizabeth Stevenson. No details of who the registered structural engineer is on website so can’t check with institute of structural engineers cited on their site.

I have escalated this with trading standards, bank, Bark.com, Media outlets consumer champions.

Honestly, one of the worst experiences of my life. These guys are COWBOYS & SCAMMERS - do not trust - it is money straight down the drain. I wish that I'd read the reviews here before I hired these jokers - there is a reason the majority or them are one star. It's also very clear upon reading them that the five star reviews have been written by the 'company' themselves.

Here's how my experience with them played out:

1) I found this company on the site Bark. Or rather they found me. I posted a job for a structural engineer to make the necessary plans for an extension. I've since spoken to Bark and they are in the process of removing them from their site - but I would advise vigilance regardless.

2) I was contacted by a man from the company, who said the job was possible. He named (what I thought was) a fair price (almost £400) and a ten-day turn around for the job. To contextualise this, the booking was made on the 23rd of March, promising to have plans delivered by the 3rd of April - this date was agreed. Our build was due to start on the 10th of April, so a prompt return was essential. Ethan then hassled me for an immediate payment of £375. He assured me that the job could be done without a site visit.

3) On the 3rd of April, I'd not received any plans. Upon calling, I received a 'this number has not been recognised' message. My messages weren't replied to.

4) On the 4th of April, I was told (by WhatsApp) I'd receive the plans the following day.

5) On the 5th of April, I'd still not received any plans and my messages were ignored.

6) On the 6th of April, I was told that I'd have my plans 'that evening'. They were not delivered.

7) On the 7th of April, I was told he was waiting for 'the head engineer (mummy), to sign off the docs'. They still didn't come.

8) On the 8th of April (Saturday), after threatening to report what I was now convinced was fraud to the police, I received a document of the plans. I sent these to my builder ready for Monday 10th (build start date).

9) My builder spoke to me on the 9th, and told me that the plans were unusable. In his words: They were not signed off. They looked like they had simply been copied from another job. They talked about a fictional chimney breast. They were handwritten in places. And the measurements for the foundations were well under the minimum depth recommended by British Standard 8004 (by more than 50%).

10) I then had to call in another Structural Engineer, who did a site visit, and wrote proper, and usable plans. The difference between the two documents is absolutely vast. The cost of the real engineer was £750.

11) I asked the cowboy company for a refund. They were hideously rude, began arguing with and insulting my builder, calling him incompetent, and did not even hint at an apology - not even for delivering the plans almost a week late and a terrible lack of communication. On a side-note, the builder we've been using for this project does A LOT of commercial work throughout Central London, and is simply in a different league to these imbeciles.

They have been truly awful, and if this review stops one person from dealing with them I'll be happy. I'm in the process of opening up legal proceedings, as well as reporting the case as fraud. I don't expect to get my money back, but I am determined to so stop these vile, vile scammers. Please, please, please DO NOT TOUCH THEM WITH A BARGE POLE.

I needed some beam calculations for a beam installation in my house. Contacted the team via WhatsApp, process was easy and would highly recommend.

Paid for a beam calculation on 29/9/2022 and was told it would take five to ten days, had a brief reply after five weeks saying I would receive it later that week but nothing arrived. It is now over ten weeks and I haven’t received any reply’s to emails asking for a refund.
The customer service is totally unacceptable.
I now have the inconvenience of having to go to the small claims court to recover the payment.

Needed a structural report for 3 steals for a dormer conversion great work with 5 day turn around and the price was excellent would definitely use again

0 OUT OF 5 Stay well away from this company there are much better ones online, I’m still waiting for a refund because of the terrible service I received but I still haven’t received my refund after almost 2 weeks, they told me a week ago that they were processing it but I don’t believe them they have also stopped replying to my emails I don’t think they are a legitimate firm.so I’ve had to contact my credit card company to let them deal with getting my refund.

Used 4 times for business purposes and had no problems, any queries answered quick and pleasantly. Would definitely recommend!

Incompetent at best!

They will not provide you with a professional service and they are also incompetent, missing out vital structural elements which should be obvious to any professional! They will also charge you VAT when they are not VAT registered – which is fraudulent!

They do not meet agreed deadlines and do not answer any phone calls!

1 star as they did provide a full refund after wasting time/effort with them.

If you don’t believe me – try calling them to speak to someone!

I would like to start by saying this is the first review I have ever left online for any type of service but felt it was needed to warn against anyone else using this company in future.

1 star is a compliment.

Once they have your money, your job will not be completed either on time or to agreed deadlines.

For us personally this cost us money on builders wasted time and delayed our project by weeks even though we paid an extra fee for the job to be expedited.

Since then a refund has been agreed but has never actually been sent and since agreeing all communication has been ceased.

All my emails, WhatsApp messages and phone calls have been ignored - funny how on a previous review they claim to have never ghosted anyone….

I reported this company to trading standards who advised we should be taking them to small claims court.

All I can say is that this is a dreadful company to work with, please avoid at all costs and take your business elsewhere to a reputable company.
