The Vansmith builds custom camper vans in Boulder, Colorado. We have been in business over 8 years and have converted more than 300 vans, earning a reputation for building vans that are as functional and durable as they are beautiful. We work on Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Ford Transit chassis, in both short and long wheelbase. Every build starts with how you actually plan to use the van: weekend trips, full-time living, a mobile office, or a basecamp for the whole family. From there we design the layout around you, then build it in our own shop with our own crew. What goes into a Vansmith build: hand-built cabinetry backed by a lifetime warranty, off-grid solar and electrical systems sized to your real power draw, insulation and ventilation that hold up to Colorado winters and desert summers, and beds, benches, showers and galleys designed to earn their space. Beyond full custom builds, we offer semi-custom models with proven layouts, we handle installations, repairs and upgrades on vans we did not build, and we supply DIY kits and components for people doing the work themselves. We are located at 7209 Valtec Ct in Boulder, visits by appointment, and we deliver finished vans across the United States.
