Mike has the best produce, it's very fresh and the quality is first class. And most of it is British. The delivery is free and it comes in a simple cardboard box and there is no plastic.
The website is easy to use with a good selection of produce.

First time shopping with The Very Green Grocer, a present for my son. I was extremely impressed with their fresh produce and fantastic service - and so was my son. I requested the delivery to be made on his birthday and it was.

Mike and the team are incredible! Fresh, plastic free fruit and vegetables delivered to your door at a great price. Plus, they always throw in a dog treat for my puppy! Couldn't ask for better service!

It was my first time using this service and I was absolutely blown away with the quality of the products! I nearly ate all the fruits there and then. The ease of ordering, already attracted me to the company and I loved the fact that it was a local, family business. I selected to opt for the lucky dip, for the fruit and veg box, as well as selecting a few items that I knew I needed. I wanted to be surprised and I was not disappointed. A healthy selection of fruit and veg that you will be used, not some obscure fruit that they've thrown in just to be trendy. I was delighted that I could also buy different products like Greek yoghurt and herbs.
The delivery comes in cardboard boxes and everything is environmentally packaged. No plastic. It was also left in a discreet place(I didn't hear the door). The prices in my opinion were very reasonable £10 for a veg or fruit box, with a healthy amount of products.

I have had two orders from the very greengrocer and have been very happy with both of them. The vegetables and fruit seem to be fresh and they are delivered early in the morning on the day requested. The prices are very reasonable too.
