Brilliant experience in there with my…

Brilliant experience in there with my dog, staff very friendly and professional, explained me very well what they gonna do all the time and the vet who consulted and prescribed the meds, Alejandra, I couldn't be happier with the way she looked after my Molly during our visit there in the Liverpool clinic in Norris Green! 🙂

The receptionists are always friendly…

The receptionists are always friendly and the atmosphere is re assuring.My dogs do not feel scared or anxious. When I have sadly lost a dog or cat they have always been sympathic and caring.

Extremely rude receptionists

Extremely rude receptionists. Whenever you ring they rush you and don't give a damn about what your saying, just want to get you off the phone. There rudeness has happened everytime we've called for 4 years, but we just accepted it, as its a hassle swapping vets. Enough was enough when we called a week ago about my cat who was having trouble breathing. The receptionist responded "is he panting? No he isn't, well it's not a emergency then and im not a vet anyway" rude and disgusting! Called another vet straight away, and they confirmed it is a emergency can you come in tomorrow straight away with him. As a result we have now left the vet and gone with another one, purely just down to the customer service of the receptionists! There is no excuse for 4 years of rudeness, clearly the staff hate there jobs, and I think this is down to extremly poor management. Do not go here, unrealiable, rude, poor service and expensive. There are vets that are similar prices which are lovely and do anything for customers. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!! Vets 4 pets all the way :D

We didn't get booked in with you for the next day, so that is a complete lie! We called vets 4 pets straight away and booked in with them and joined up with them. You say it wasn't a emergency, but the other vet says otherwise and we're shocked by what you said, so how could we agree that it wasn't a emergency when we didnt even see you?!?! You've now just made your business look even more stupid by lieing with something that is completely untrue. Absolutely shocking! Customers please do not go to this vet, as there response says it all!!

Dear Mr Collins, I am sorry to hear that you were not happy with our service. I just want to make the point that emergencies would be seen the same day, the other vet saw you the following day which means they did not think it was an emergency either. We have appointments open for urgent patients throughout the day and your cat would have been seen within an appropriate time. Very pleasant and caring staff

Although I was delayed and a little late for my appointment I was received in a friendly manner. The waiting room is large, clean and airy, the reception staff was pleasant and friendly. The vet gave Rosko a thorough examination and was very friendly, you get the impression that they care about you and your pet.

Great friendly team and very helpful

Great friendly team and very helpful. I had a bit of a wait on my visit as there was an emergency being delt with but that was explained immediately. Thanks for looking after my dog

I got both my dogs microchips done at…Morden vet

I got both my dogs microchips done at Morden vet around 4 years ago I was at a different vet recently and found out that both my dogs chips don’t have my name and address on them only a chip number I had to phone the company that the chip belongs to and put my name and address on them. It’s all done now but what if I lost my dog yes they have ID tags but what if they checked my dogs chip they could easily have put there details so many dogs have been going missing over the last couple of years. It’s not good enough that Morden vet didn’t do there job properly it was pure laziness not to have put my name & address. So if u got your dog chipped at this vet I would go and get it checked out just to be on the safe side.

We am truly sorry this happened, We do not know why it would have not registered as it is an automatic system and can see from your file the process was followed. We are so pleased you have manged to resolve and as pet owners ourselves can completely understand your worry over if anything had happened.

Goes the extra mile

I have been with The Vet Morden since they first opened and would not go anywhere else. The staff have come and gone over the years but all of them replaced with equally wonderful people. My 12 year old dog had a serious infection that needed a particular antibiotic to treat. It was not available anywhere in this country. My vet, Sylvia researched and found it on an obscure vet med site that imported it. She was calling me all the time to let me know who she was trying and what was happening. The antibiotic was not a success on its own in the end so she and another vet, Marcos, operated on him to open and clean the track of the infection. This was the most difficult procedure as he has Syringomyelia and a very bad heart murmur so cannot be anaesthetised. The procedure was done with only local anaesthetic and mild sedation and was a success! I am sure that not many vets would have gone to these lengths with an elderly dog with such him. I will be forever grateful to them for giving me more time with my boy who continues to enjoy life, if a little more slowly these days.

Brilliant care

I have been using the vet for many years now and have always had excellent care given to my pets. Particularly after my dogs Lola’s latest Dental and extraction. She’s is and elderly dog and very anxious of the vets, but with the use of the PetsApp the nurses were able to keep me updated with how she was, and even sent me a photo of her recovering. I’ve always been given detailed follow up calls after procedures and bills carefully considered. Couldn’t ask for more, really put my mind at ease.

Disgusting

Terrible, would give no stars if I could.
Refused to give my diabetic dog insulin after I did a perfectly fine curve.
She is just being awkward.
What am I supposed to do I’m desperate 😢 please give some insulin or he will die without it.
Will be contacting the VCMS.

The vet was warm and welcoming

The vet was warm and welcoming. He put both me and my cat at ease. My cat is 16 years old and I was very worried about her going under anaesthetic but Alex said he would treat my cat as his own. Thank you so much for looking after my precious pet.

My dog loves visits to the vet

Receptionist greeted me politely, dealt with my details and appointment promptly. My pet and I didn't wait long and our appointment was dealt with in a professional and kind manner. My visits are always so positive that my pet gets excited as soon as we get into reception
and into treatment rooms.

Was reccomend by my sister

Was reccomend by my sister. Max is a very nervous dog n the vet was absolutely brilliant with him. Very calming n went at my dogs pace. By the end of his appointment he was very relaxed n was able to carry out his treatment. Highly recommend

Super veterinary care

I have used this practise for a few years now.
Customer service is great and veterinary staff are brilliant.
Both my mum and son also use this vets for their fur babies.
Highly recommend.

Another great visit to The Vet

Another great visit to The Vet Liverpool. My fur baby was taken care like the member of the family she is and had another great experience- couldn’t say I’ve ever had a bad experience here in the 6 years we have been with them. All of the staff are amazing!

I attended “The Vet” in Southampton…

I attended “The Vet” in Southampton after my dog cut himself on some barbed wire. He’s a working dog so used to getting the odd knock and cut but this required stiches. When I phone the vet I explained exactly what was needed, i.e. clean around the cut, some local anaesthetic and stich up. I said he won’t need sudation if I’m with him (I know my dog). This was really a very simple job for then to do which wouldn’t have taken any more that 10 – 15 minutes.

I arrived and they took the dog away, I said that I wanted to go with him to make it easier for the vet and keep the dog calm. They wouldn’t let me go with the dog (despite the receptionist saying that I could). The vet comes out to see me 5 minutes later and say “oh is bad, he’s done a right job on that hasn’t he”. “Well it’s a cut that’s quite deep” I said, “that’s why I’ve brought him here, it’s very straight forward, you clean it up, a bit of local and stich him up, he’ll be right as rain!” “oh no” she said, “we’ll need to sedate him and it’s difficult to stich so the price will be £530” I couldn’t believe the price they were trying to charge me so I asked how she arrived at that price. “Well that’s what we charge to stich a 3cm cut”. This was a £100 - £120 job tops! And they just wanted to try and exploit the fact that they had the dog there and though I had no other choice. Well they were wrong, I asked them to fetch me my dog, the vet then said “oh well perhaps you’d like me to give them some paid relief” no I don’t, the dog isn’t in pain!

When leaving the vet said (and this is the best bit) “If you find a vet that will do it cheaper then we will price match”! Unbelievable!

Anyhow, I took my dog home put some local anaesthetic spray on, cleaned him up, shaved the area and stitched him up myself with my wife’s help. I didn’t have proper suturing thread so once sown up I put a bit of super glue on to help hold it together, some antibiotic spray I use for the sheep, and he’s healed up a treat. A couple of doggie treats for him and pint of beer for me and all is well.

Shame on “The Vets”. Oh and they’ve sent me a bill for the consultation, don’t think that’s going to be paid!

Visited Liverpool branch with a very…

Visited Liverpool branch with a very sick guinea pig, that sadly could not be cured. Staff at all times were very caring, compassionate and took time to answer questions and nothing was too much trouble. We received a lovely card with our guinea pigs footprints on and a lovely message.
