Literally cant get hold of them to ask a question so based on this I wont be ordering from them. Ive also tried emailing too - nothing.
So Wool Factory - sort out your customer service these people leaving negative reviews are ALL saying the same thing.
Its not acceptable,.

Thank you for a good service. Ordered Friday Morning and received order Monday morning. Fast delivery and everything was as ordered.

Wool arrived no problem but it was different
shades when finished garment was blocked out ready to sew.very disappointed

Incomplete order sent out so unable to make garment. I can return items sent at my expense having paid delivery as well. A poor service as the order should not have been accepted.

I bought 500 grams of wool to knit two baby shawls. Been knitting this pattern for decades and that’s the amount of wool needed. Not this time, I need another 200 grams to finish. The wool took hours to untangle and was full of knots however I didn’t want to change wool halfway through. I emailed the wool factory attempting to buy more but got no reply. I phoned them 15 times dialling constantly between 2.15 and 3.00 pm but the phone was never answered. I will avoid this company

Ordered wool from this 'business' which was fine, but as all REPUTABLE business go, it's an online purchase, therefore the buyer has the right to return the goods in good condition, within set time etc...and should receive a full refund. Either the business creates a free returns postage, or you receive your COMPLETE sale costs, once the item has returned.
These lot want you to pay for delivery and returns cost. If the wool cost you £2, you'd have to fork out £6 approx in postages, just to get back your £2?
Fortunately, there are a few good online wool shops that don't try to shaft you with returns like this.
They've already had £6 off me. Not getting any more.
17.04.24. Since contacting wool factory about this, the sales person had given the wrong information, so as long as I receive FULL refund once this is returned, then my review will reflect this.

I am very impressed with this company. I placed an order for baby wool on a Sunday and received it two days later. I liked the wool so much I decided to buy some more of it and placed another order. The company kindly matched up the dye lot for me as I requested, the order arrived with me the following day! Both orders arrived well packaged.
I will definitely use The Wool Factory again.

I ordered baby aran 2 days ago it has arrived today and the quality and colour are perfect. I have used the wool factory a few times, their prices are unbeatable and there is a huge choice of colours and the service is excellant.

I feel really sad reading the bad reviews for this company, especially since I see that they recently moved warehouse, so I just had to come on here and leave a review of my own. I can't recommend this company enough. I ordered a whole load of yarn, and a day later it was shipped, and a day after that I had it in my hands. They had also slipped a cute little gift in the bag. The yarn was clean, smelled fresh (not musty like it sometimes can be), and well packed—brilliant little company with amazing prices. I will definitely be using them again!

This company is small and their first nice touch is the email you receive that makes you smile which includes information about which person is handling which part of your order. With respect to other reviewers reviews about delivery. I haven’t experienced anything bad. I ordered on Friday and received it on Monday. It’s worth noting that Royal Mail is a separate entity and it’s in their hands. The prices of the wool are great and very competitive. Always cheaper than the nearest rival. One thing that would be good for them to do is perhaps add a filter for their search results so that you can filter out the patterns if I’m looking for specific wool weights.

Very slow dispatch and no sign of delivery a week after placing an order despite it being a Royal Mail Tracked 48hrs service. Disappointing as orders from other online wool stores arrive promptly.

Ordered several times now, for various crochet projects and always impressed with the speed of delivery and choice of yarn. Also packaging is simple and little waste which is always a positive. Thank you.

I have just received my second order from this company and I will definitely use again.
The prices are competitive and my order was received within a few days. Absolutely can’t fault them!
I love the quirky nature of the emails they send out, they really tickle me!! So refreshing to have a little fun injected into a transaction.

I had an order which one month after despatch had not arrived. I was told to check with my sorting office as parcel would be sitting there - which it was NOT. Ignored further communication- customer service terrible has not todate refunded me or sent replacements. I’ve opened a PayPal dispute but todate they have not responded to that either!

Despite a friendly automated order acknowledgement my order wasn't despatched for 15 days. If you use the online chat expect a 5 day response, email either at least 24 hours before a reply or not at all. Their published telephone number does not accept incoming calls.
Despite confirmation that my order would be sent 8 days after placing, it took a further week.
Really not good enough.

This is the first time I have used this company and I must say how impressed I am with their performance. Easy to use website and my item arrived within a week of ordering it. Very satisfied customer. I will definitely be using them again and will recommend them to my friends and family.

Didnt even want to give this company one star. Customer service appalling. Bought clearance wool wrong label as a experienced knitter adjusted according to correct tension. But when washed on a gentle wash shrunk and matted beyond belief. What a waste of time and money. The yarn not fit for purpose. When I emailed the reply I got was basically so what? Condescending and dismissive from. 'Grant'got it reduced so tough. Beware you have been warned . .I would never buy again from this company. Use wool warehouse instead

I think something has gone wrong with this company. Like the reviewer of the 11th October I ordered a pattern (Order Number: 174591/011122/06)
which they said was sent as a pdf - but charged me for postage and packing! It did not arrive. I had automated messages telling me my item had been found on the shelves, that it was sent - and - final irony - another hoping I was enjoying the product. No ‘phone line, no response to mails - no sign of a refund of course - frankly a disgrace. Strongly advise avoiding the Wool Factory.
