I MADE A PURCHASE ON 10 MARCH FROM THE WORKS PAID FOR NEXT DAY DELIVERY AND AS FROM 22 MARCH MY PURCHASE HAS NOT ARRIVED IMESSAGED THE COMPANY BUT DIDNT GET A REPLY I WILL NOT BE ORDERING FROM THEM AGAIN I DONT MEAN THE HAIR SALON I MEAN THE WORKS THAT SELLS BOOKS ECT

I absolutely love this Salon! I have been coming to see Aimee and her staff for nearly four years now and the experience is always lovely. Whether a hair cut, lash lift or something else, the team are always professional and do a lovely job. Aimee goes above and beyond to fit people in where she can.

Ordered items on 6th Oct 23 for next day delivery.
Paid via PayPal but no address was asked for.
When the payment was confirmed the address was wrong. So the works account was updated within minutes.

The works didn't update the details - email or delivery address.
The parcel was diverted to a shop just in case.
I contacted the works via the online account but no reply.

The parcel went to the wrong address depsite the inventions.

The new resident claims they gave the parcel back to the evri driver but evri claims the parcel was delivered.

No response from evri.

Contacted the works customer service and they said we were not allowed to complain as it was PayPal fault???

I'm sure PayPal would ahe refunded the money as they have no control over the works account.

The customer service was refusing to allow a complaint and adamant it was PayPal fault.
This person who works for the works was preventing the issue being raised.
She also accused us of stealing.

Made a complaint about their service and got completely ignored.
They failed to provide a service and offered no good well gesture for the mess up they create.

The customer service team is money orientated and no customer focused.
It's a weekend of stress I cannot get back and they still blame everyone else but the works.

I got a refund straight away but that doesn't change the horrible service.

The works haven't learnt anything from the experience. Being accused of stealing and then blaming PayPal is wrong.
They didn't update the details or delivery address so it's the works fault.

Returning my money was always going to happen but it's the poor service that hasn't been addressed?

Why didn't the works update the account and delivery details.
If you order next day delivery - you won't be able to change the delivery by diverting the parcel.

I hope that karma reaches the customer service person who is judgemental and everyone one else who works for this inadequate service.
It's a paid job so why would they care about service?

Served by the really friendly and helpful "Az". Well done, Az!

I regularly buy crafts and other items and they’ve been fab and good value. Had the occasional duff item but this is a rarity

The Works Marple is a highly professional and vibrant salon in the heart of Marple. Offering expert hair, nail and beauty services.
I moved to Marple 18 months ago and having tried a couple of other salons locally with disappointment, I saw TheWorks opening and booked in, I was delighted and have been ever since. Aimee owns the salon and works magic on cuts, colour and hair-up styles. The approach is very consultative and clearly there is considerable experience in the team.
The atmosphere is always welcoming and relaxing and the team go the extra mile to ensure fabulous customer service.
I highly recommend TheWorks to everyone looking for high class hair, nail or beauty services.
