What an amazing property and easy booking process

DO NOT BOOK.. I am extremely disappointed with the way this company has treated my family during one of the most difficult times of our lives.
We booked a staycation to celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday, but tragically, my mum passed away unexpectedly before our trip. Due to this devastating loss, we were unable to travel. We contacted the company immediately, hoping they would show some compassion and understanding given the circumstances.
Instead, we have spent over two months chasing them for a refund. Our calls and emails have been ignored on numerous occasions, communication has been extremely poor, and the whole process has been unnecessarily stressful. To make matters worse, they have kept 100% of the money we paid, despite the exceptional circumstances.
While I understand that companies have policies, I also believe there should be room for compassion when a family is dealing with the sudden death of a loved one. Their complete lack of empathy and poor customer service have made an already heartbreaking situation even more distressing.
I would not recommend this company based on our experience. We expected understanding, compassion, and professionalism during a time of grief, but sadly received none.

Thank you for your comments. Firstly we would like to reiterate and express our deepest sympathy and condolences to you and your family for your recent loss. As a small business it is incredibly disappointing to receive your below review as we have been in regular contact with your family members in relation to this matter. We have had numerous telephone conversations including calls from our director whilst on leave overseas and a trail of over 51 emails during the booking process discussing this situation and keeping you in the loop with all correspondence we have received from the owner of the property regarding your claim.
Your family had asked to cancel the booking 2 weeks prior to your arrival date due to illness and the owner of the property kindly offered you a 100% future credit to be used at anytime, the terms and conditions state that the monies would be retained.
Following the incredibly sad and tragic passing of your mother, your family then requested a full 100% refund. The owner of the property again kindly offered you a 100% future credit to be used at anytime. We always recommend at the time of the booking that guests take out cancellation insurance to cover such eventualities this is also recommended within the terms and conditions at the time of the booking.
We also understand from recent correspondence with yourselves that you have applied to make a claim on a bank insurance policy which is currently in process, we have provided you with the required paperwork and will confirm to them that no refunds have been offered.

Great facilities even for large parties such as ours (20 people) and the location and views are magnificent

Great location and facilities
Set in arguably one of the nicest market towns in the UK, Very tastefully decorated house on a grand scale, lots of room for group activities, large well equipped kitchen and dining facilities, great outdoor dining and secure private garden. Bedrooms are all generous and beds and bedding is top quality. The house has a lived in quality which I found very welcoming and relaxing especially with a couple of dogs in tow.

Emma and David at the wow house company helped us organise a large party celebration at The Curve house in Lincoln. The communication was excellent. Helpful suggestions for local catering firms and activities were fantastic. The process from booking to refund of security deposit was excellent. Highly recommend this company. Birthday celebration
We recently returned from a lovely weekend celebration in a Wow House. The house met our expectations and everyone had an very enjoyable stay. The highlight was the large indoor swimming pool which was especially popular with the kids.
Wow House provided a first-class professional service, were always friendly and polite and responded quickly to any queries. I am happy to recommend them.

Amazing stay
We had the most fantastic stay in Lulworth. The house is incredible - spacious with stunning views and we made good use of the games room, cinema room and pool. It has a well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and excellent showers too. Great communication from my initial enquiry through to our departure. Thanks to Heidi and the team at Wow for helping us celebrate in style!
