Website disappears once payment has gone through. Of course they have a support email that is entirely AI generated - they tell you website is undergoing maintenance. I hope this saves someone before you waste your money like I did.

Horrendous !! Do not use website, very misleading where the company is, all direct delivery from china which took ages and returns they also make you sort out yourself direct bank to china which cost nearly as much as the product. Never again !!!

Complete scam, I’ve ordered some shoes, they turned up 5 sizes too small, trying to exchange them doesn’t seem an option, been offered store credit, website been down for weeks so that’s no good, I told them I would send them back, only to be quoted £25 in postage which I have to pay, and then told they would be held in Chinese customs for weeks and might go missing which is my responsibility. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I just received my dress and its nothing to what I saw online. Material is horrible you can littlelly tell its a cheap material. I wouldn't wear it anywhere its embrassing. My order took ages to Come aswell. Am trying to find the website to get mu refund back but it non existens all of a sudden

If I could give 0 stars then I would. A horrendous experience from start to finish. The delivery took weeks, the quality of the clothes was awful and I was sent the wrong item. Then, when I went to return the items I was told it would be £25 and was heavily dissuaded from making a return being told the package would likely get held at customs and with a refusal for Thomwood to pay, despite the wrong items being sent in their error. I eventually received a 50% refund which I had to chase for two weeks. No acknowledgement that an error was made and just got responses from a bot. I now have two items of clothing which I will never wear as they look cheap (exposed seams, overlocking and thin fabric). Absolutely useless garments and non existent customer service. Avoid at all costs!

I saw an online ad for a maxi dress. The ad had lots of reassuring words about free UK delivery and fast delivery but as I don't normally fall from these ads and had not heard of Thomwood, I did check the returns policy which seemed fine ie the item needed to be unworn, with tags and I would have to pay the postage as they dont offer free returns. They were shown as a netherlands company with NO MENTION of China and their name does not suggest a Chinese brand. So I ordered the dress. I should have known better. The dress arrived scrumpled up in a crystal bag. It is made of horrid cheap polyster and the sewing is appalling. I immediately emailed to get it returned only to be emailed back with offering me an option to swap it for something else (even something a bit more expensive)! I declined and asked again to set up the return but the response was a discount to buy something else. I declined again at which point was emailed back stating the item could be refunded but had to be returned to MAINLAND CHINA or I could accept a discount and keep the dress. The cost of a return to China was almost £40 which was more than the dress. I called my credit card who said that they couldn't help because I would have to return the item before they could clawback the payment which meant I would lose money. They did advise me that the reviews for this company are dreadful and to check companies out in future before buying which was good advice. I should have known better than to go ahead with this purchase and if you want to avoid being scammed like me, DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

Interestingly they have emailed me with a 'personal' email from their CEO 'Lisa' offering me some special deal - what a joke - I wouldn't want anything from them even if it was free! IT'S CHEAP RUBBISH AND THEY ARE A DISHONEST COMPANY WHO MAKE MONEY BY SCAMMING PEOPLE.

it is a complete scam. Completely misleading details about location (it’s really from China), delivery takes weeks, clothes are absolutely shocking quality and nothing like the images, returns are to China and not viable and refunds do not get paid. Responses are AI generated. DO NOT USE!!!!!

Avoid this place at all costs. I ordered 2 dresses to try as a potential graduation dress. On receiving the dresses the quality was not as described on the website and both dresses did not fit me well, as a result of this I wanted to return them and was told I would need to pay £25 to return them as their warehouse is in china. It’s absolutely ridiculous considering the dresses cost me £70. I will never be shopping here again after wasting my money and I would advise people to avoid at all costs.

I don’t even want to give one star. I bought from the website having checked it gave refunds. The dress I bought looked beautiful in the picture, made out of sheer fabric and beautifully fitting. I checked my size against their chart which stated the sizes compared to certain UK high street brands. The dress wasn’t cheap but when it arrived it was very poor quality, different material (not sheer at all) and way bigger than expected. It was ludicrous to say it was the dress pictured on the website. When I contacted the company they gave me a few options: keep the dress and they would send another size, keep dress and receive maximum 20% refund, or return the dress looking at this option it seemed that to return it could cost more than I had already paid if there were unforeseen taxes. They seemed to discourage the latter option. Despite about 20 emails to and fro I have not received the 20% refund I felt obliged to accept, although they said it would be in my bank account within 24 hours.

I’ve spoken to other people who have had a similar experience tho not same company name. The responses from them seem to be AI generated.

I'm rather pleased with what I bought. The quality is excellent for the price, and the clothing fits true to size. When I had a question, the customer support staff was friendly, and the delivery was prompt. Without a doubt, I will place another order from this brand.

My very bad experience of this company is a multiple minus zero one and based on my situation, I very strongly suspect that any positive reviews on here about them - will be totally fake.
I paid for a pair of casual trousers for my partner as a present for her, and have yet to receive them. Despite claiming Dutch location, they're actually from China!!! They don't answer e mails sent to their support e mail address, and unless you type out that support e mail address yourself the support address link they supply doesn't work! Add to that; when you click on the order tracking link which again they've provided, that doesn't work at all, saying 'error - not found'. So far this experience is just screaming out SCAM, so think very carefully indeed before spending a single penny with this Chinese company!!

I wish I had read the reviews first. Please learn by our experience. I purchased a champagne coloured dress. When it arrived, the colour was nothing like the image and to be honest to quality was pretty poor. Shipping took ages and now that I want to return it, I've been offered store credit, return the item while incurring £25 postage costs (with a caveat that it will take ages for them to receive the item) or keep the item with a 10% refund. I don't want the item and I couldn't even resell the item so what do I do. Complete waste of £45. Might as well have flushed the money down the toilet.

Misleading! Says 48hrs tracked but that’s only once it’s arrived from china! The quality is shocking. Sizes bizarre. Material poor. Customer service abysmal. I was given a store credit eventually which I reluctantly accepted despite insisting on a refund. Shock- the website is no longer available

SCAMMERS, THIS IS NOT THE REAL TOMWOOD PAGE DO NOT BUY FROM IT. I brought 2 dresses from here for around £80 and they took over 2.5 weeks to come which is way too long for a company you pay these prices for. I was sending them emails asking them where my dresses were because whenever I tracked my order it would say they haven’t been shipped yet but they never responded. It even said that the dresses had still not been shipped on the day they arrived. When I opened the dresses they were nothing like the picture they weren’t even normal human proportions or sizes. They were horrible and disgusting fabric aswell. All through the process from the moment I brought the dresses I tried ringing them and they never ones answered I must have rang about 30 times and I sent countless emails and never got a response. I have sent another email asking for a refund when I did more searching on google about this website. THOMwood is a scammers website TOMwood is not but TOMwood don’t sell dresses they sell jewelry. I have been scammed out of £80 and I don’t want anyone else to get scammed. I want a refund NOW

Item took so long to arrove and stated differently on purchase. Item arrived nothing like the picture. Tried to return it as it advertised 30 day free return however no instructions to do so only email support to which no one replies. Tried to go onto to their webiste and it is shut down entirely now. Stuck with a low quality item that I spent a lot of money on.

My order arrived in good time and I actually got exactly what I ordered, rather than a cheap fake. Im very happy
