The most magical day for both adults and kids alike
From my initial call with Rhona I knew this day was going to be extra special from the excitement in Rhona's voice when explaining what the day involved.
From the moment we stepped off the plane it was a day filled with magic and snow as far as the eye can see. From riding the snow globes, reindeer and husky rides, meeting the big man himself and of course playing in the snow.
Id highly recommend Rhona at Thorne Travel and of course this experience is a must for kids and adults.
Seeing really is believing!

Excellent package holiday
We walked into Thorne Travel and were so pleased to be listened to and the agent, Yvonne in the Largs Branch guided us to the r.ight time for a holiday in Malta. She understood what we were looking for and that is exactly what we got! It was super. Access to great restaurants, a very close bus stop and a very good hotel.
All the details were taken care of and we could not fault the service offered.

Great service
Both my husband and myself were undecided about next year holiday and sent Lucy email after email asking advice and information on various cruise lines and offers on but Lucy was fantastic, nothing was a bother , we have booked our previous holidays/cruises through her over last few years , she is so friendly, polite and really takes the time to get to know her customers on what we like don’t like and does her searching around this. Never any pressure on time to book, giving us time to read over the different options she gave up . As we both work shift patterns it’s hard to get into store so being able to do everything via email or phone call is great and know we can trust Lucy to find us the perfect holiday, which she has .

Our first Cruise
Lucy in the Prestwick Branch gave us First Class service when we went into enquire about Cruises. It is going to be our first cruise and we left feeling excited after booking. We wouldn’t go anywhere else now to book future holidays. Lucy was extremely knowledgable, friendly and professional. She made us feel very comfortable and we didn’t feel pressured.

Friendly personal service with a smile
Katie was friendly and helpful when booking my holiday. She ensured all the discounts were applied so I got the best price. I was phoned to come in and pick up my travel documents and given a contact phone no for them in case of any problems. Much better experience than booking online.

I had a fantastic experience with Thorne Travel. Lucy has been absolutely amazing! I haven’t been away in 10 years and she managed to find me the perfect Christmas break. Lucy answered all my questions, which there were lots of, with ease and quick replies. I really appreciated this as I’m an overthinker. Lucy even recommended a day trip which looks amazing and I’m sure will be the highlight of our trip. I’ve now booked my first ever cruise with Thorne Travel and can’t wait. I found the service to be impeccable and there really is a personal touch. I would highly recommend Thorne Travel and am already thinking of what I can book next.

First class service... As Always
The service you recieve from all the staff at Thorne Travel is second to none. They are all so very well trained at their field. They are a credit to the Boss Shona. John booked our annual holiday and this one to Egypt was the best ever. I cannot sing their praises enough. You don't feel like a customer, it's like chatting with your friends. John actually stayed past opening hours for us. Thank you all so much. Great service as always. Keep up the good work and winning awards as yous certainly deserve every single one of them.

2 fabulous trips in 2025
We have been booking with Audrey over the years so who better to handle our 40th Wedding Anniversary trips. Had a fantastic Greek island cruise in April to begin with. Audrey's knowledge of the ports was brilliant. Locating us perfectly on the ship was a real bonus as well. The whole experience was fabulous, one we will most definitely do again. Audrey also booked us for Rome just recently and once again everything was done for us. We just turned up. Another fabulous trip. Looking forward to our next trip and working on it with Audrey. Great hotel great food and choice,great family hotel loads of pools and sun beds . Entertainment good staff nice location good overall would love to stay here again and again .

A Wonderful Family Holiday…
My Daughters and I have recently returned from a Great Rail holiday which was booked with and organised by Thorne Travel in Largs.
Amanda and Yvonne were extremely professional, efficient and friendly once again. It's always such a joy book with Thorne Travel because we know all the details and any issues will be dealt with effectively which is such a relief and reassuring that they are always there for you in any unexpected issues.
