SCAM Warning!!
SCAM Warning!!! Worst service we've ever received. I've put in a claim with Fair Trading and HIGHLY recommend everyone steer clear of this company for any service. Their website advertises tile and grout cleaning and shows fabulous before and afters using a professional steam cleaner. I was quoted $7/m2 via email and I was requesting tile and grout cleaning on 2 bathrooms, 1 main living area, and kitchen - a total of 47m2 by the technician. Upon arrival and after measuring, the technician pointed to a bucket and scrub brush with bleach he had with him and said that it would be $7/m2 for a "manual clean" or $14/m2 for him to go to his vehicle and bring up the tile cleaning machine. As I wanted the results shown on the website, I agreed to $14/m2 for what I assumed would be the machine on the website.
He brought up another machine very unlike the one shown on website. When asked about this, he said the machine as shown on the website was only for outdoor tiles even though it is shown being used on all sorts of tiles - indoor and outdoor very clearly on the website multiple times.
The entire job took 35 minutes and the apartment was left a mess. We were told the floors would be dry in 2-3 hours. We put the aircon on just in case and were hoping for the best as the tiles and grout still looked dirty but were soaking wet with large puddles everywhere. I was skeptical at this point but thought if a steam cleaner was used it should evaporate quickly. Unfortunately when we returned, there were still large puddles pooling up against the skirting boards and cupboards with rings of brown where dirt had dried at the edges and the grout was still as dark/dirty as before the service.
We were told there was a silicone sealant put on the grout by the last tenant so they couldn't be cleaned properly, but there is only one small area like this in the main room and why wouldn't they refuse the job or explain this up front if it couldn't be done as requested and to the standard as shown on their website? I'm also wondering if this line is part of their scam as how does this explain why there is only one small area with silicone painted on the grout but NONE of the grout has been cleaned and there was still dirt left on the tiles when the technician left.
At the end of the service I was told that unless I paid cash there would be a 10% fee added to the quoted price for bank transfer. In the middle of a stressful move and optimistic that the grout would dry lighter as we were told and be properly clean besides "the section with silicone on it" I paid for the service. When the tiles/grout dried, they were still dirty. We were charged a lot ($660!!!!) for such a short time and an incomplete service considering the state the rooms were left in. It looked like a bucket of cold water was just sloshed around the house.
We've made over 20 calls to customer service to give them a chance to make this right by us and we are either getting hung up on when quoting our job number or being told that we will get a call/email/text reply but no one has reached out to us and requests for a manager or owner also result in being hung up on.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
