Great Customer Service from Hannah

When there was an error with my order, Hannah in the Sales Office could not have been more helpful. I raised the issue on a Friday afternoon and the replacement item was delivered on Sunday afternoon. Great, no fuss customer service, thank you.

Great customer service as well as wonderful products

I can't get my favourite Tiptree marmalade in any local shops or supermarkets, so I buy it online direct from Tiptree. In a recent order, I got my postcode wrong. Parcelforce told me they couldn't deliver it and had sent the order back to Tiptree, who then sent me a new package. Well, a few days later the first package appeared on my doorstep. I contacted the wonderful Hannah in Sales at Tiptree who offered me the second package complimentary, and suggested I either give it as presents or donate it to a food bank, which I will do. Hats off to Hannah and Tiptree. It is rare now to get the same person replying to your emails and for that person to have authority to make this sort of decision.

FANTASTIC

I made a purchase and had a problem thanks to royal mail, Tiptree were amazing and helped me to sort it. Ordering was easy and id highly recommended this company to anybody. Ten out of Ten all round!

I emailed Tiptree in response to an ad…

I emailed Tiptree in response to an ad promoting their Black Friday deals. They made the error of stating it was on 28th December. The next 28th of December will take place a few years away so I guessed they meant November. I received the generic response that must have gone to all those on their mailing list but no direct response to me pointing out the mistake. Maybe they didn’t think it required a thank you or perhaps that’s just how they deal with enquiries. Equally I don’t have to purchase their products anymore it this is the attitude they have. Strange because I read they had been struggling in recent years and I’ve always been enthusiastic about their products but I guess they don’t care too much. As a result I will never again buy their products and at every opportunity tell others not to.

My Experience Was Great - Improved?

After reading reviews here before ordering I was slightly concerned about the fulfillment and delivery issues mentions. My order arrived today (2 days after ordering) with six jars of jam. Each jar was wrapped individually in concertinaed card, then the six items were in a Tiptree branded box, which in turn was in a second outer cardboard box. Perhaps Universal Product Solutions have been told to "up their game" by Tiptree. All I can say is that my order was great as are the products. I hope your experience is the same.

These last few weeks I get my no peel orange marmalade from Waitrose difficulty getting it in selby it used to be nice and thick to spread now it just runs off the knife can’t spread it really runny keeps dropping off the toast what’s happened

Tiptree/Universal Product Solutions

Whilst Tiptree products are excellent, delivery from Universal Product Solutions isn't. The jars consistently arrive with numerous dents on the lids and labels torn. The response from Tiptree is 'the jars get damaged in transit from them to Amazon's warehouse and it's fine, the contents are always good'. For a firm who produces excellent jams and jellies, it's sad that they adopt this cavalier attitude towards transportation and handling of their products and are content for their long-standing customers to think the same.

We were at a wedding reception at a friend’s son’s marriage, last week, in Fremont, California. The party favors were 28 gm tiny bottles of pure honey from Tiptree Farms, Essex, UK. The next morning, at breakfast, I had the honey with toast. The honey tasted so good and fresh. The taste was delightful. I thought about ordering a pack of 72 bottles from Amazon. They were so reasonably priced. Maybe I should order directly from Tiptree as there were a lot more delicious looking products.

AFTERNOON TEA FOR YWO

Visited for an Afternoon Tea for two (£40) that was a kind gift for my birthday. Lovely staff - Sarah & Julia - who were so friendly & helpful. There was a good choice of sandwich fillings & drinks ( drinks could be replenished) Scones ,jam & cream & little cakes. The food was all of good quality, delicious & fresh.Good pot of tea & lovely cappuccino.The museum is free entrance .We then ventured into the shop & saw lovely Claire .Most recommendable. Well worth a visit. Thankyou to all staff, we really enjoyed our visit. 🤗Dominic & Pam KING

personalised wedding favours

I ordered my personalised wedding favours from here, I was late ordering and after calling them they pushed my order through really quickly and it arrived in plenty of time. The customer service was excellent, they replied to my emails so quickly and answered the phone really quickly too. I will definitely use again and recommend to others, the wedding favours look amazing. Thank you!

No communication and not delivered to my address

There was no communication, except for a despatch email with a tracking link that didn’t work. I only found out it had been delivered to a local DPD pickup (not the address I provided!) and was “ready for collection”, because I was checking tracking on an order placed elsewhere and the app picked up this parcel. The delivery information page does not even mention this is a possibility. This is unacceptable, and also illegal - senders are legally required to send to the delivery address provided at checkout. No delivery attempts were made at all, and I’d have had no idea it had been delivered there if it hadn’t been for an order I placed with another company. I’ll be reporting this to trading standards.

In my attempts to buy British I found that this is one of the few companies to make chocolate spread in the UK. I ordered the chocolate, salted caramel and banoffee spreads over the internet. Extremely happy that they none of them contain palm oil or contain nuts. About on a par with other similar spreads not made in UK (ie Jim jams - made Belgium). They arrived yesterday - happy again to see responsibly packaged with no plastic whatsoever. The chocolate spread is wonderful and very thick. The salted caramel delicious and likewise the banoffee. Very happy with my order - will continue to buy from them onwards knowing my order is made in the UK, made responsibility and packaged responsibly. Win Win for me. Well done Tiptree!

Not impressed at all

Do not buy from Tiptree's online shop if you are buying a surprise gift for someone. Not if you want to keep it a surprise anyway.
I placed an order for my wife, on behalf of our kids, a bottle of Tiptree's "Happy Mother's Day" labelled Raspberry Gin from their gift section/website. So, to clarify a "Happy Mother's Day" labelled gift. Obvious then, no?

About a week later said gift was delivered by their own drivers and accepted by my wife, the gifts recipient (I was at work and had no idea it was being delivered that day). A box with "Tiptree" branded packaging tape hints at what could be inside, but forgivable. Large lettered sticker "Contains Alcohol" is also bordering a give-away but this may be law? I don't know but not many guesses left and then bingo!
A hard copy print out of the Picking / Delivery Note with ALL the order details of what's inside given to her (WITH the box, not inside the box as a customer centric company would do) is hands-down outrageous!
Talk about stupidity! Thanks for spoiling my children's surprise Tiptree.
I did send them an email expressing my disappointment but that has turned to disgust and distain (hence the one star, without even trying the product) as they have not bothered to respond. Email was sent to the onlineshop address where my email receipt came from and listed as their Contact Us.
I shall not be buying any "surprise" gifts from them again and I suggest you don't either if you want to keep it that way... and clearly don't bother complaining as they'll ignore you. Well Tiptree, ignore this one star Trustpilot review and watch potential sales go (deservedly) elsewhere.

Zero common sense, zero Customer Service.

Placed a large order online for a Christmas gift, it was delivered to the wrong address wrong city twice in two weeks, had to call three times to sort it out. Then had to get my money back as they failed to deliver in time. No apology from them at all and have to wait for my refund. Never again, will buy Bettys or Fortnum & Masons instead for jam gifts.

Tasty jam. Great service.

Hi, ordered mini jars of jam as a gift. Really tasty product great value. They made a mistake and sent them to the wrong address. When I phoned them they were very apologetic and sent out the package again to the right address straight away. Excellent customer service and I will be ordering more gifts from there.
