We have a big melt! We only clean it with a dust towel. But when the light is one it’s seem cheap.

I purchased a Tom Dixon light 7 years…
I purchased a Tom Dixon light 7 years ago which I’m really in love with, however I’ve recently noticed tiny scratches to it which are only visible when the light is turned on. I’m absolutely gutted, as for the price, I expected the light to last a number of years. I then purchased the same light for a client ( I’m an Interior Designer) my client has just put it up and hers has even more speckled ok it than my one. It’s been up just a couple of weeks. This is really poor. Is there anything that can be done to repair the lights? Claire Moriarty

Non existent customer service
When I was on the website it offered me a 10% discount on my first order, but when I put in the code it said it was not valid. I have sent 3 emails regarding this issue and have not had a single reply. If this is the service you get when trying to purchase items I dread to think how bad it will be if there is an issue

to delicate, easily scratched …
bought 4 lights ,3 melts 1 spring from tom dixon in heals ,amazing lights everyone comments on them ,the only problem which is a big one is how delicate the melts are ,they do attract dust ,as youd expect, however removing said dust is the issue,I used a micro fiber cloth and gently wiped ,now it has scratches on it ,only visible when turn on ,and yes I'm disappointed especially as I was careful, now need to find a way to sort it ,one gutted customer,
Recently bought a Tom Dixon bell lamp...
Recently bought a Tom Dixon bell floor lamp from Heals. looks lovely, but am astounded that at nearly £900 it does not come with a light bulb! it does however come with cotton gloves so as not to smear fingerprints, so why scrape on a lightbulb, seriously this is a bit cheap!
Not a happy customer!

aldrig varit med om att inte kunna byta en produkt. som var helt trasig från början och det var inte under transport. då det var BONE TRIVET BRASS en gjuten solid produkt. du kunde genast se att den inte va funktionsduglig. detta skulle de flesta se med en gång. kontakta Dixon som bad om bild som dom fick. Royaldesign.se såg hur trasig den va så ja fick iaf pengarna tillbacka men ingen produkt. efter mycket trasel ingen produkt. Dixon svara aldrig de försvann nog i deras system
Bell Lamp issues ?
We have a lot of Tom Dixon stuff, and we love the copper accent accessories especially. My other half bought me a Bell Lamp for Xmas, looks amazing. It does t full switch off though. So John Lewis have replaced today, but this one is exactly the same? What’s the point of a dimmer switch if it does t switch the lamp off when you ‘click’ it into off position. I’m struggling to see any info where it says this in within the spec. And I’ve tried FB Messenger & Twitter for some help. I really don’t want to go through this all again for yet another replacement. I’ll update this review if we get any feedback.

I am updating my review for Tom Dixon because after they saw my review, even when we didn't buy the product directly from them, their Customer Service Team (Gavin, particularly) has been EXCEPTIONAL.
Their communication is timely, keeping us up to date along the process, answering any questions, and inquiring about the issue for us. What made me see the contrast (with Heal's where we purchased the table) is how they stand behind their products and do whatever is needed to sort the issue.
Not only do they agree that the wear and tear aren't normal, but they are also helping us get the table replaced.
Word to the wise: if you are in the market for Tom Dixon products, buy directly from them.

Purchased a black table and chairs via Heal's. The table arrived damaged, it was obvious that it came like that from the factory, as half of the surface was scruffy. They sent a technician that confirmed there was no way of fixing it and sent a replacement. After one month, very little use, the paint started scraping on one side; when we reached out toe Heal's, the said that the Tom Dixon team had said that "wear and tear that can happen on the first day or after 10 years". I wish they would put that in the description right below the price.

Always loved this label and many of my stationary for the office is from here. Great quality and the aesthetic is second to none.
Not worth the hassle
I would give zero stars if I could. Ordered a pendant light and didn’t expect it to be plastic for the price it was (fair enough my fault for not checking beforehand) so I tried to organise a return. Sent three emails requesting return authorisation and took them two weeks to arrange. I paid a courier to transport and the received the return. I waited 11 days after I could see they had received the return without a single piece of acknowledgment that they received it or that they would process my refund. Still haven’t received my money back. Don’t buy your light from them directly - go to a qualified retailer.

Fantastic brand experience at The Manzoni
I recently discovered Tom Dixon as I visited The Manzoni space they opened in Milan.
A beautiful active showroom with a restaurant where everything is for sale, from chairs to lighting. I had a business lunch in the second part of the restaurant next to the jungle showroom and food and service were excellent, as you would expect from a true italian experience. I was welcomed by the showroom manager in the jungle space after lunch as I was curious about the products and she was great in driving me through the collection and explaining the brand philosophy. I fell in love with many lamps but since I was supposed to fly back home, I couldn't take any with me. Yet, she gave me the address of couple of stores not far from where I live where I could find Tom Dixon. In the end, I took the opportunity to buy couple of Christmas gifts, particularly a set of martini glasses in copper and two beautiful candles. Great brand experience, congratulations

Tank Gift Set - perfect gift for him and a pleasure to shop and unbox
I fell in love with Tom Dixon years ago when spotting them in a design concept store in Miami. When looking for a 'stylish' Christmas gift for my partner, I remembered that we had both said that we'd one day buy something Dixonish. I went online and found out they ship everything online - great! - because I don't live near their flagship store. I ordered the TANK gift set, obviously took advantage of their 10% for sign-up offer, and 3 days later, the package arrived. You can tell it's a design brand, even the box the order was shipped in had a distinct Tom Dixon look with a big black sticker on it. The real pleasure was opening the package and finding the beautiful product in there (again, nicely presented in a a high quality packaging). I can't wait for Christmas Eve now...and the joy of giving and actually afterwards, drinking our first cocktail from Tom Dixon glasses.
Btw, there was a return slip in the box, so they got you covered - even though I cannot imagine we would make use of it.

We bought 9 Tom Dixon melt lights which I've finally put up - they look amazing and we are now the envy of the street!
The shop in Kingscross is filled with incredible items and I've found their service to be second to none - highly recommend

Poor shopping experience
There is no doubt that Tom Dixon's designs are incredible. However, their online shopping and fulfilment processes are appalling. I placed three orders online, and every order had at least one item which didn't ship. I had to chase them to find out and was told the items were out of stock. That's understandable (although they should not have let me purchase an out of stock item to begin with), but I shouldn't have to chase them to find this out. Also, they didn't issue a refund for the missing items until I chased them. So they charge you, don't ship the item, and then don't refund you automatically.

Bought a few large candles and when I tried to burn one of them it wouldn’t stay lit. It was full of water 😡 large earth candle, cost over £200 for 1 , and absolutely useless .
I contacted customer services and they offered me 20% off my next purchase....really!!!
Spent nearly £4000 in the Tom Dixon…
Spent nearly £4000 in the Tom Dixon shop on 8 pendant lights. Asked shop assistant how long for delivery, she said usually quite quickly.. only 5 arrived on a Wednesday, so called the company and spoke to customer service who apologised and emailed me confirming the remaining 3 pendants would be despatched on Thursday for next day delivery. Based on the email, I arranged electricians to be present om Friday to instal the lights and pendants. Called several times during the day. The customer service person said he would get back to me and after several exchanges said the courier company they used couldn’t get the remaining pendants to me till Monday. I said I had incurred costs having electricians in attendance all day based on his email and calls on friday. He then started telling me that their standard terms were up to 5 days delivery and that their
‘general advice’ was not to book electricians until the goods had been received. I said neither in the shop when ordering nor on the receipt was their any notification of the 5 days delivery and I had not been provided with the ‘general advice’ and his email advising Friday in any event would have superseded this. He acknowledged in an email that the receipt did not in fact state delivery time. I said that I only got the electricians in because of his email and that Tom Dixon would have to cover the cost of the electricians. He then asked me to send an invoice evidencing the cost of the electricians which when I did he sent an email saying their accounts department had checked and were unable to verify the company and the VAT registration!!!! I immediately provided the company details from the publicly available Companies House information and referred to a website which provided confirmation of VAT numbers. The problems were caused by Tom Dixon and as a consequence of their persistence in not dealing satisfactorily with the issue, and worse still questioning the validity of an invoice of relative small value without simple verification gives me grounds for taking action for legal recovery which I have advised them I intend to do. Poor customer services and poor accounts department ! Would have expected far better! Staff a real let down for the business!
Shambolic customer services
What would you expect when you order from a 'premium' brand, with products costing in excess of a few thousand pounds?
You'd be naive to think that buying from an expensive 'premium' brand would bring a premium level of service. Tom Dixon has been a complete headache from the day I ordered from them.
I wanted to return one of the products I'd purchased, which has to go through a return to manufacturer authorisation process. It took numerous unanswered emails and multiple telephone calls to be given authorisation. Returns postage then has to be organised and paid for by the customer, which is expensive for large items. Tom Dixon doesn't have a preferential courier with discounted rates.
It's been nearly 2 weeks since I returned the product and over a month since they took payment. To this day I'm still chasing my refund for a significant sum of money, receiving no response from the team at Tom Dixon or the inadequate distribution service they're using in Birmingham.
