I needed to move a large sum of money from US dollars into pounds sterling. Ian and I worked as a team to make the conversion at the best moment. I used Total Currency Exchange for a number of transactions involved in a foreign property purchase over the last couple of months. They were friendly and approachable each time I spoke with them and provided a reliable and professional service. There was a delay in one of my payments reaching the foreign account down to a reference error on my part (nothing to do with Total Currency Exchange) and when the funds didn't arrived when expected, without me even asking the agent started to investigate what had happened to the money and resolved the issue immediately. I have used TCE for a couple of AUD > GBP transactions and the process was super fast and really straightforward, with excellent guidance through a refreshingly personal service. TCE's conversion rates are highly competitive, and will always be much better than any offered by a high street bank. Although a relatively new company, the founders of TCE have been in this space for decades, and have a wealth of experience navigating economic cycles. While not able to offer advice, they send out an interesting daily update that explains recent market movements and what could result from expected government announcements, global news, budget speeches, etc, which can be reassuring when it comes to timing your currency conversion. Highly recommend!

I had the requirement to transfer $850,000.00 from UK to Uganda for a house purchase. This was a transaction that was time critical and a transfer of this scale was not something I had carried out previously.
