Wasn't happy with they way they dealt with me as a buyer. They got me a electrical report and not fully understanding myself they electrician who they recommend told me everything was ok after a year of having issues with my wiring been advised to get it all changed rang Townend they told me l should have questioned every line on the report and its my fault for not fully understanding, after me telling them l was advised that everything was ok where is wasn't as it didn't have RCD protection l should have been told as the wiring would not pass and is a safety hazard, Townend have washed they hands of it blaming me expected abit more

I was successful in both selling my house and buying my new house with Townend Estate Agents. The process did become quite long and complicated due to a large chain but Townend were there with me to offer advice and provide solutions. This included arranging a short-term, 28 day, rental accommodation to move to temporarily when our buyers needed to move in to our house sooner than we were able to complete on the house we were buying. Topped off with a nice bottle of Champagne when we collected the keys, we were happy with the overall experience.

Even when we faced the prospect of the sale falling through very late on in proceedings, the team went above and beyond to help us.
