I experienced excellent customer service today when I called into the Smyths Cardiff store during my lunch break.
I didn’t have long to buy some items, as well as collect my pre-ordered ones, so I was a bit flustered. Luckily Shanta was on hand to help. Despite being on her way to her own lunch break she took time to help me and went over and above the call of duty. She was friendly, polite and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. Unbelievable service, Ordered my daughters Christmas stuff yesterday and it was delivered today, really great fast service, highly recommend.

has anybody ever managed to get an answer from smyths on kinsale road roundabout in cork,iv spent hours trying to ring them but have never got an answer so instead would have to travel 50mins each way to get simple answers and watch them while im there refusing to pick up the phone as it rings,they're as ignorant as it gets.

If i can give 0 star i would. Absolutely disgusting customer service and a really arrogant and rude manager.

My parents purchased a JOIE battery and mains charged swirl chair for £120, when we got home and opened the box it looked like the item had been returned previously was sold to us, screws were also missing for which we went back to the store to get on the same day. When we had assembled the product some parts had scratches. We was not happy and went back to the store to explain and ask for refund, the manager would not listen to us and said if you have opened we will not refund, he was not listening to us and was rude and speaking with a loud voice. I then left the store and put item in car. Spoke with my mum again and said let me just go back into the store and explain again to the manager, when i entered the store staff said he is upstairs and when arriving upstairs manager was sitting on chair chatting on mobile phone, he then walked over and said " i have already explained with a rude and heavy tone" they would not exchange product either

I'm really disgusted with the service, what right does he have to speak with me like that, so rude and with a high tone. I will never ever purchase from this store in Crayford, i will also report to consumer watchdog.

Very happy with my purchases at Smyths toy store, went instore to buy a gift, i asked for help to show me, where a particular toy was displayed and sales person showed me where it was located, the only downside to Smyths, is there display signage is not always correct.

We travelled to your Lincoln branch to buy a BMX for my grandsons 8th birthday, on choosing the Bike we found a member of staff called Jason to fetch one from the wherehouse as only display one out, he informed us that they weren't made up, as they usually booked them in to be assembled, but on seeing the disappointment on my grandsons face he said if we could give him a couple of hours he would build one for us, he was brilliant with my grandson and chatted with him regarding the bike( and the man united football shirt he was wearing!) We left him our phone number and went across to the other retail park to finish our shopping and within the hour he rang to say it was ready to collect, his customer service was exceptional the manner in which he dellt with our request to the interaction with my grandson was lovely to see he is truly a credit to your company,please pass on our thanks as he had already finished work when we went back to collect the bike.one very happy birthday boy! .

went to smyths toy store castle vale birmingham , we took our grandchildren to buy a few presents
brought a Lego set at cost of £25
granchild built part of item, when the Lego bricks broke in to pieces,smyths said my eight year old grandchild broke the Lego bricks.. smyths refused to exchange, told me to contact LEGO

looks like entertainer next time they visit.

I can't say enough good things about this company. The service is outstanding. I ordered a bike for my sons birthday on Monday and have just had a message that it will arrive today. I have ordered so many times from this business and each time they have delivered before expected delivery date. Again, thank you smyths

I did order Mario game(worth about 40£) on 5 may and still have not revived order info.
After messaging then on email they laid about releasing/refunding money in 24-48h.
Don't order if you don't want to be scammed out of money!

Ordered a slide and swing on Friday morning to be delivered to my granddaughter. Both items arrived the following day, barely 24 hrs later.

Bought over 100 euro of toys from website 2 be delivered add said over 20 euro free delivery...i was charged 29.99 bec small todlers slide that is plastic and can fit in boot of car is obviously coming under bulky items i am disgusted with smyths and will never shop there again

I preordered the PS5 last week Wednesday and it was delivered to my house Saturday of the same week. I was absolutely delighted. Also reached out to Customer Support at some stage after as I had a question in regards to the payment which didn't work with the card that I had originally used, and they replied within 48 hours, were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely order again!

Cancelled my Ps5 preorder for no reason.
After asking for me to re submit my details ,which I did.
There is a pending transaction on my account for the price of the console so I must have entered correct details.

Received email saying order canceled
Because I never responded to previous email ,which is incorrect.

Terrible behaviour from smyth's .will completely avoid in future over this .plus I better get money credited back to my account .
