I spent a lot of time researching which training company to use to qualify as a bookkeeper and at the time Training Link came out on top for support and value for money. I haven't been disappointed! The hard copy materials have been excellent, the online practice material was an essential part of my successful revision and consolidation of understanding, and the unrelenting support from the tutors via email was swift and helpful throughout. I felt well prepared by the time it came to the final exam and completed it successfully with confidence. I highly recommend Training Link for studying ICB Bookkeeping to Level 2 and 3.

I have now completed several courses with Training Link and have found each one to be excellent. They are very well presented with a combination of course books and online work and each topic is thoroughly covered with excellent tutor support throughout.

Fab company to deal with. Response times to emails are fast. I decided I want to change my course package having already started level 2 and this was no problem and a very quick and simple process. For feedback, tutor support at weekends would be useful.

Recently I passed Indirect Tax exam (before time end :)) Thanks to easy follows materials, lots of examples and exercises and I went through every assessments smoothly. My tutor Will is very helpful.

I chose Training link for my studying as they were reasonably local and well priced but I am so glad I studied with them. Training link are so supportive and helpful, my tutor was always there for me and everyone I have dealt with have been very friendly.

Training Link have always given support and help when needed, if I'm ever struggling with a chapter in studying I know I can email my tutor and show my workings for them to give feedback and point me in the right way. It's never too much hassle to ask for help and I'm not waiting around for a response. I can voice any concerns with areas and know I will be given help & advise to put me back on track.

I was quite apprehensive about undertaking studies again, after nearly 20 years since my last foray into formal education. The Training Link team made the process very easy and painless. The very friendly, helpful admin staff and fantastic tutors are ready to help and assist with anything at a moment’s notice.

The material itself is very well presented, clearly laid out with loads of examples and exercises. The teaching material being available high quality printed books and PDF allows for great flexibility in studying. Having the books in colour would be helpful as there are many examples where colour is used to illustrate the flow of posting transactions, however this is not a deal breaker, as the PDFs are in colour. With plenty of additional material available online, for home printing, you will have no shortage of study material.

I found the online recourses extremely helpful, the video's provided a nice break from reading, whilst still learning. The regular assessments help to build confidence in your own progression. The mock exams both paper and online are a good aid in preparing for the real thing but would highly recommend also doing the AAT Mocks.

The fact that they are setup and specifically focused on delivering online / home learning is the key. This is not just a ‘in-class’ model delivered remotely and that makes all the difference. All in all, I highly recommend Training Link as a training provider.

I signed up to do AAT 2, 3 and 4 plus Sage with Training Link, so am looking forward to a long relationship with this excellent company.

I paid for the level 2 AAT in accounting. First issue was a delay in sending out books due to printers, not too much of an issue. The text itself i really didn't get on with. I really struggled to understand the syllabus and just couldn't get my head around it. The flow of the learning seemed to be disjointed and not well explained, it really left me confused and disheartened. I bought seperate AAT books online (BPP and Osbourne) and all of a sudden the course made sense. So much better than the textbook provided by Training Link. Another issue was the accounting software module. Firstly they sent out the textbook which was supposed to include a copy of sage desktop but they didnt send that, also the module is actually not in the right format for the exam. The module is taught with the desktop interface but the exam will use the web version, which is completely different. Had i not looked into it i would have turned up to the exam completely unprepared. I contacted the admin support but they said they couldnt help. I ended up getting myself a free trial of sage online and learning that at short notice in advance of the exam. The next issue was the ELCO module. The online chapter tests have a 3 strikes and you're out mechanism where if you score less than 90% 3 times, it locks the whole module's online progress. I made one rounding error on one question on one test and was locked out. I emailed my tutor to unlock it and they didnt bother. I gave up with training link at this point and just kept going with independent study. I ended up passing AAT level 2 with a distinction but this was despite training link, not because of it. I definitely dont think it's worth the money, i could only access 3.5 modules out of 6 and even those had to be supplemented with outside texts to really gain an understanding of the syllabus. It doesnt really seem like they care about their students as there has been no follow up regarding my progress since my tutor failed to unlock my online resources which was 7 months ago and i have passed the full certificate and moved on since then. Don't waste your money.

Following redundancy and needing a new career I decided to study AAT through distance learning. After researching many companies I decided to sign up for Level 2&3 through Training Link as their prices were so competitive and I have not been disappointed. Their bespoke training materials are sent to you in a very timely manner along with a free note pad and pen. The training materials are very clear with assessments to complete at the end of each chapter to ensure thorough understanding along with full mock assessments in the book as well as online. I also had access and support from my tutors Michele and Suzanne who always responded to any questions and marked my assessments extremely promptly. Having not taken an exam in over 30 years I passed all my Level 2 exams first time and completed the level with a distinction overall 😊 I am now studying Level 3 with my tutor Will who is just as supportive and I have passed my first Level 3 exam first time as well - hopefully this will continue for the rest of the course. I would thoroughly recommend anyone to study with Training Link.

The study platform is really easy to use, with lots of beneficial extra resources.
The content of workbooks covers the topics and exams requirements for the Level 2 AAT in Bookkeeping. And every chapter have built my confidence.
I would recommend everyone to study AAT with Training Link.

I have been using SAGE in my job for a few years now but not to its full potential, so I decided to take my existing knowledge and further it with a distance learning course.
I found the course via Google and spoke to someone helpful and knowledgeable on the phone.
The course material was delivered quickly and was relatively straightforward to set up and get into (word of advice, you need a PC or Laptop without SAGE already installed).
The timescale and what was expected is very clear and I was able to study and work at the same time.
The course booklet was very easy to follow and the steps are clear and concise.
At any point during the course I was able to email my tutor Michele Baker and the reply was always very quick - even over Bank Holidays!!
The backups were marked quickly and I received the next part of the course in hours.
I am extremely pleased with my whole experience during this course.

I received clear instruction of what material I had to study and the timescale expected of me to complete it. The books were sent via a courier very quickly to my home address ahead of the time.
As I was studying at home, I had freedom to custom my study program in line with my work/home priorities at the time. However, I was encouraged to setup a study plan / calendar to “book” my study sessions so it felt like a formal commitment with myself and it held me accountable.
The booklets included both the theory as well as exercises/activities to practice my knowledge and answers with information how the calculations were derived. I found the info extensive and very useful to “guide” me through the material in logical manner. I did not feel overwhelmed by the material, even though I was not working in the accounting, which was very important as I was planning and preparing for my career change.
If you are stuck you can always approach your personal coach/trainer that will guide you through. My trainer was (and still is) Will who was always happy to help and found ways to present the information that is concise and easy to understand. After each chapter, I was asked to complete an assessment to ensure that I have the understanding required to continue with my studies. I found the concept very useful that even if I got things wrong, my tutor was providing explanation not only what the correct answer is but how to get the same calculations. I found those session fantastic and will always be grateful for.
However, even when Will was on annual leave, someone within the Training Link would provide me with their assistance in his absence, which I think is a brilliant idea.
Finally, I have used the Training Link exam centre which I found very easy to book, nice and comfortable facilities. Ladies at the reception were so friendly on the day as I have arranged to take 2 exams on the same day.
Overall, I have now successfully passed AAT Level 2 and Level 3 with the assistance from the Training Link. The materials provided are extensive and easy to follow, even though at that time I was not working in the accounting and studying at home. Finally, the prices for the course are extremely competitive hence I am currently studying the AAT Level 4 with the Training Link as well 😊

I'm part way through my first course with Training Link. I've found them to be very supportive and any queries are always answered quickly.

Back in December I passed with Distinction AAT Foundation Level 2 with Training Link help. Suzanne and Michele were always there to answer my questions and to guide me to the right way during my studying. I was really happy with Training Link and I am planning to start Level 3 this spring using them as well.
