COMPLETE SCAM. STAY AWAY. FAKE PRICE AND LIES.

PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE & DO NOT BOOK WITH TRAVELCATION!

We will soon be forced to take legal action against Travelcation for the thousands of dollars lost due to Travelcation’s mistakes.

We were initially pressured to write a “glowing review” when we purchased our tickets, so I’m assuming most of these 5 star reviews are fabricated. We were also threatened to not post an honest review or they would withhold our refund.

My husband and I had booked two flight tickets with Travelcation totaling over $4000 for our 3-week honeymoon. We had confirmed the details over the phone with Travelcation before our flight, but once we got to the airport to check-in, the airline said that TRAVELCATION INCORRECTLY ENTERED OUR DETAILS, therefore they would not let us board our flights.

Even the customer service rep at the check-in counter at the airport was shocked & said that Travelcation was completely INCOMPETENT and that she would make sure to warn others not to book with them.

When we called Travelcation, we had to wait on hold for over an hour before someone picked up from. We were then told that they were unable to fix the problem for us, so our only option was to purchase new last minute tickets for $10,000 each PER PERSON to the same destination. Yes, you heard that price correctly. & no, they were not willing to honor the original price we paid.

This happened over 7 months ago and we STILL have not received a full refund for our flights. We have also lost THOUSANDS of dollars in connecting flights, non-refundable hotel bookings, excursions, etc.

We have repeatedly called them every other day ever since December 2022, but keep getting told that someone from their team would call us back, which we never receive. My husband calling again today to simply inquire about the refund and the agent hung up on him THREE times.

What was supposed to be one of the most beautiful moments in our lives, turned into one of the worst nightmares we’ve ever experienced. We did not get to go on our honeymoon and have now lost several thousands of dollars on top, due to Travelcation’s mistake.

To add - Travelcation refused to reimburse us for our losses and Chris Morris (Travel agent from Travelcation Toronto) told us to FRAUDULENTLY claim a “medical emergency” for all of our connecting flights and non-refundable hotels, since he said that Travelcation does not want to take responsibility for this.

If this review can help someone else avoid a nightmare similar to ours, that’s all I can ask for.

1- i could not change my reservation after i booked with them. should of booked with airline directly.
2-flight was cancelled due to winter storm. i called them to get alternative, for next 8 hours they were insisting i missed the flight( and the flight was not cancelled). so i called airline directly and thankfully was rebooked.
3- i tried to modify departure from my sun destination to make up for the day i lots due to storm.

4- the travelction was useless and not helpful at all.and after all they offer me a new booking for one way which was more expensive than my original booking both way

Simone was great. She went above and beyond to help me secure a westjet flight with a shorter layover when my original flight was cancelled by the airline

The entire experience with Travelcation was not great and I will not be booking through them again.

I was super fortunate to have the assistance of my last support agent, Ethan, who resolved all my issues the night before my early morning flight. If not for him, I would have not been able to travel home.

Cause of the issue... AirCanada did not receive payment and the ticket needed to be re-issued. I count myself fortunate to be able to board tomorrow. Thanks Ethan!!

RUN AWAY!!! It's a scam!

Do not trust this site it's a scam !!
Right after booking my trip, I received a call from the customer service saying that the price booked is no longer available, and you need to agree on the higher price to confirm the booking.
Cancellation fees are 150$ even if you cancel a minute after.
I was lucky to block my credit card before getting scammed.

They are Scammers!!!! They are a thief !!!!!

Do NOT use this company!
It is a scam! First they charged me twice , saying they only charged me once. I have to now deal with the bank to get my money back. And when I checked with the airline if my booking is correct, it was not existing!!!!

Never use this company it's a rip-off !!! They will contact you after your booking to say that the price has increased and you need to agree on the higher price to confirm your booking. If you don't they will charge 150$ fees to cancel your order !!! I had to call my bank to report the scam and get my money back!

You'll see that many reviewers mention the surprise change in price after booking - I also had this experience. They are advertising a different price on their website (still) and have this huge "PRICE GUARANTEE" sign under it... yet I'm being charged $150 MORE than I initially agreed to. Apparently there are cancellation fees even within 24 hours of booking. Their customer service agents are very "nice" but not at all helpful. They put on their pleasant voices and talk in circles to try to confuse you into submission. I'm honestly quite pissed but not sure what to do. Don't want to pay cancellation fees but also really don't want to be relying on this company for my flights...

Never use this company it's a rip-off, they use Google flight as bait to attract people through fake ticket low prices. Once you choose to use their travel site and fill in your credit card details you are at their mercy. They will send you an email 5-10 hours after your online booking urging you to contact them regarding your booking and when you do that, they say that the price has gone up and you need to agree on the higher price to confirm your booking and get your confirmation e-ticket, just to find out that the difference paid by you is just their unfair “travel-service charges”. And there is no way around their fraudulent conduct because they will charge your credit card with unbearable cancellation fees and end up with even higher losses. In conclusion, just stay away from these thieves if you want to protect your hard-earned money from their scams and spread the word about their shameful business conduct to protect future fellow citizens from falling for their cons.

so far so good. i am very impressed with the service Ryan offered to me. very polite and helpful. always available to answer questions and suggest options with great courtesy. i got worried after i booked n paid it all, that it was too good to be true. not traveling till end of december so 🙏

They are so cooperative and considerable. I had booked three tickets last month with a really great price by TravelcationTeam; however due to my critical situation , I have to cancel my flights They declared the tickets are non refundable however when I explained the uniqueness of my situation, they considered and did all their best to help me ; and after 24 hour’s they have canceled my flights with fully refund . I do appreciate their extra efforts to help me , and it make me a loyal customer and will support their business by sharing my situation and recommendation with my networks.
