Our hotel was huge set in beautifully maintained grounds with well appointed swimming pools. The beach was very accessible and the town of BUDVA was within walking distance on a beautiful coastal walk. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Good choice of food for all meals.

Very good guide Ingrid from the first meet up and throughout the week, she was a great guide. The hotel was very nice, and very cental, lovely staff especially the staff in the breakfast room, who were funny and jolly. I was very happy with my accomodation. The daily tours were fabulous. I would have preferred more time in the Rothchilds gardens than Nice, but that is my opinion. All went swimmingly as usual with travel department. I shall be back on tour with TD soon.

Our trip to Egypt was amazing.
It was faultless start to end.
The guide, Dodi, was friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. He took great pride in his county and his work, he couldn't do enough for us.
The optional trips are well worthwhile.

We recently completed a 3-city tour of China with Travel Department, and I can honestly say it exceeded all expectations. The entire trip was exceptionally well organised from start to finish, with every detail carefully thought out.

A special mention has to go to our local representative, Jack. He truly made the experience seamless. Everything was arranged perfectly—no long queues, no confusion, and every day ran like clockwork. He ensured everyone was ready and comfortable for each excursion, and there were absolutely no hiccups along the way.

On the rare occasion that a small issue arose, Jack handled it with complete professionalism and efficiency. He was also great company during longer journeys, keeping us entertained and making the travel time pass quickly.

His dedication, organisation, and warm personality played a huge role in both the smooth running and overall enjoyment of the trip. It’s clear he takes great pride in what he does.

I would highly recommend this tour and Travel Department to anyone considering a similar holiday. I’m already looking forward to my next trip—and fingers crossed, I’ll be lucky enough to have Jack as our rep again!

We recently booked a trip to China with the Travel Department and we had the most amazing experience. The local guide, Jack, made the holiday run super efficiently, he was a wealth of knowledge and information, and he was super enthusiastic. The transfers were flawless and accommodation etc. was first class. Highly recommended !!

We recently returned from a trip to the Costa del Sol, including Nerja, Malaga & Granada. We stayed at the Ibersol Almuñécar Beach & Spa. The hotel has a great location just off the seafront. The staff, for the most part, were excellent, both friendly and efficient. The trips were both interesting and worthwhile, and the driver(whose name I forgot) was excellent. We struck it lucky with the group, who were great craic. Our guide Claire was just brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The only slightly negative point was the quality and choice of the main course on a couple of nights; aside from that, the choice at breakfast and the evening meal starters were the stars of the show. Overall, we had a great holiday.

Guides and walks excellent. Tough terrain and quite dangerous but managable if youre a walker already. Selection of walks on various parts of island great as you get completly different perspective. Pick up from airport and bussed around excellent. Packed lunches amazing. Very impressed..

The hotel accommodation was excellent. The river cruise and the visits to the museum the tombs and the temples were enjoyable and informative and the guide Dodi was top notch. I have nothing negative to say about the trip and wish it could have been a little longer.

We went on the Rome and Assisi trip in April 2026. The hotel and the food was very good. The tour leader Carlotta is fantastic, She is so good at her job and knowledgeable. The trips were all excellent, we particularly enjoyed Assisi and Tivoli. We did two optional trips to Monte Cassino and Castel Gandolfo. We throughly enjoyed the optional trips.

Just back from a trip with travel company would highly recommend it. Was amazing from start to finish. All you need to do is turn up and everything is organised for you. Amazing week and will definitely be booking another trip

I enjoyed my city break to Madrid very much ,lovely hotel ,location was good ,the guide was very good & gave good recommendations of places to see & ways to get around.

Extremely well organised group travel with outstanding and knowledgeable guides. The itinaries totally capture the best things to do at each location.

Our Tour Guide, Carlotta, was fantastic. She looked after us all so well from start to finish and was a pleasure to deal with.
The hotel, the Adesso, was terrific for several reasons; the breakfast was excellent, as was the food in general as we took dinner in the hotel on one evening. The serving staff were so attentive without being intrusive and the meal was so enjoyable. Their overall most important asset is their wonderful Staff all of whom offered great hospitality. Another very important thing about the hotel is it's location. With every mode of transport, metro, bus, train, taxi being available within minutes walk of the hotel, one is never far from anything, particularly the centre of Rome and all the fantastic things it has to offer from culture, sight seeing, restaurants etc. We even fitted in a day trip to Tivoli by train. This was a very memorable holiday for all the right reasons, unlike the trip we took about two year's ago staying in the Albani Hotel. We would not have taken this holiday if the TD was still using that hideous hotel.
Thank you for this wonderful Rome holiday, it was a great experience.

Great solo trip to Egypt, April 26 with a large group of easy going people up for the craic. Group led by "Dodi". Everything went smoothly and any minor issues sorted out immediately. Dodi did a great job of managing the group and the entire tour with good nature and great local knowledge.
Highly recommend to anybody with Egypt and a nile cruise on your bucket list.

Our trip to Egypt was an amazing holiday and much more than we ever imagined. The organization was second to none and made things so easy and stress free and it allowed us to relax and enjoy the trip. Our tour guide Dodi was friendly, helpful and entertaining. His knowledge was truly remarkable. His pride in his Country and the History of Egypt was plain to be seen, overall he was a lovely man. Thanks again to Travel Department for a wonderful holiday.

My husband and i are just back from a trip to egypt organised by the Travel department Ireland. Is had been an amazing trip, more than we ever imagined and this was made possible by our wonderful guide Dodi. To give him a score of 10/10 is too low in my opinion. His knowledge of everything egyptian is amazing. His love for his country's history is mind blowing. He was there for us at all times and my husband and I will never forget our wonderful trip yo egypt. Thanks Travel department and thanks a million Dodi.

I love the idea of booking a holiday with everything included in the price
It's great to have all the tours arranged which means I don't have the hassle of organising them myself I'm always happy with the hotels and the food
If I have any complaints they are always dealt with immediately by the guide or the staff in the hotel

Just back from our DUBROVNIK trip, organised by Travel Department. A great experience from beginning to end, after nine years of no airport visits.
Many thanks to the friendly staff at the end of the phone - our first port of call.

All our trips were well organised. The trip to MOSTAR was an experience. Because it was so early in the tourist season, two of the Elaphite islands really had little to see, tho' thankfully one coffee shop was open. I'm sure in the summer, the island would be really busy.

KORCULA Island is well worth a visit - a beautiful place.

Our Guide –ENIS HRUSTIC was excellent. So helpful and accommodating and above all, patient ! Even organised our airport transfer coming home!
Do remember that Dubrovnik adheres to the 'old' airport rules regarding liquids etc- many of us lost our bottled water as we were not aware of this going thru customs. Do ask for the empty bottle back, as there are plenty of water stations to refill when you get through customs.
