Do not use this platform please! Dishonest and unethical business and trade! Booked a flight ticket on their platform and the flight was cancelled. Traveloka was adamant that it wasn’t cancelled when the flight already could not be located on the airline website. Gave false information and asked me to check again 3 days before flight?! So I could purchase last minute ticket and they can generate more profits? Refund process will take 90 days and there is no guarantee that I will be getting the refund back despite the cancellation. USE TRIP.COM who is always so reliable and refunded me within 3 days! Not only that, Traveloka already pre-deducted rm15 as their “convenience fees” when they gave me nothing but trouble! For heavens sake, DO NOT use Traveloka. They do not care about their customers and consumers and they only want to generate and maximise their profits. Why do I need an agent like that when I have to do all the job
Poor Booking Experience - Inaccurate Information!
I booked an international flight, paid in full, and received what I thought was a confirmed e-ticket. However, the details provided by Traveloka were flat-out wrong. The flight number and schedule were inaccurate, which I only discovered after checking directly with the airline a day before my trip! I've seen other reviews where travelers were denied check-in due to Traveloka's outdated/incorrect information, it’s clear this is a systemic failure, not a one-off error. They cannot be trusted to provide accurate, up-to-date travel details. The anxiety and stress this caused, trying to fix their mistake at the last minute, was unacceptable.
Non-Existent Customer Service
When the booking error came to light, attempting to get help from Traveloka was a complete waste of time. Their "customer support" is a joke. The live chat was slow, unhelpful, and agents clearly didn't understand the issue, offering only canned, irrelevant responses. Calls either resulted in incredibly long hold times or were disconnected. It took hours of frantic effort just to get a non-committal response, and even then, they refused to take responsibility for the incorrect flight details. When you need urgent help which is exactly when a travel agent should step upcTraveloka abandons you.
Do yourself a favor: book directly with the airline or hotel. Using Traveloka only adds a layer of risk and frustration, leaving you high and dry when things inevitably go wrong. My money and my peace of mind were completely wasted. AVOID!

Bad system UX and put the damage to customer absorb. Made a return flight booking and there's a rescheduled flight that does not meet the travel plan. Submission of refund is not able to choose for only the rescheduled flight and end up I submitted both and only later reverted the refund is only partial. I have already made arrangement to replace my cancelled booking. Never use Traveloka again.

I had a bad experience with traveloka. I have input a first name and last name when I purchase the air tic.
Upon arrival, I was denied boarding due to incorrect name. Traveloka insisted my customer name is correct and passenger name is only surname. They require me to buy another tic to board the flight. I called the careline, careline told me to pay and they will refund. I was in a hurry and didn't know there is a manage booking where I can change my details. But the careline did not inform me. This service is a scam.
Please don't use it. Now they are not refunding to me.

Traveloka the worse
Tiket.com better than Traveloka in term of responsibility when need refund at any causes. For me for buy transport ticket prefer direct to the airline, trains or buses web or apps. Traveloka could be the worse.

Do not buy a travel insurance from them
You might expect that in 2023, purchasing a straightforward commodity like travel insurance would be a simple task. Unfortunately, this is still a hassle, and Traveloka certainly doesn't seem intent on changing the status quo. Here are the issues I encountered with Traveloka:
Ensure you're eligible to purchase the insurance. They won't prevent you from buying a product that won't actually cover you. In my case, I was traveling in Indonesia as an Australian resident. Only Indonesian residents or Kitas/Kitap owners can purchase their product. However, they will still allow you to make the purchase, which gives you a false sense of security until you realize you're not actually covered when something goes wrong.
Payment is a disaster. It's always perplexing when online companies don't want to accept their customers' money. I attempted to use my first Visa card and received a "payment failed" message (even though this card works for all other purchases). I tried a second Visa card, and the same issue occurred. Trying a third card, I found myself stuck with the spinning wheel in "processing" indefinitely. Should I close my browser? Should I not? Am I going to be charged for nothing if I close my browser? It's incredibly frustrating.
In the end, if you need travel insurance, it's best to go with the old reliable option: Allianz. They may be old, not trendy, not particularly modern, and somewhat boring, but this veteran still works no matter where you are on this planet.
Traveloka is now terrible
Traveloka is now terrible! I had a recent Starlux flight (booked via Traveloka) canceled by the airline. The flight was refundable, and the airline would issue me a full refund according to their policy. However, when I tried to get my refund from Traveloka, they only gave me half of the money back and charged me a $5 " refunding service fee". I tried to contact Traveloka customer service but they were lazy and uncooperative, and kept giving me the runaround. Their CS is a joke, the hotline is garbage with only recorded instructions (no human). You can only chat and they kept closing your issue and marked it as "done" without your consent. I had to reopen the issue 5 times for 2 weeks and eventually gave up. Avoid them at all cost.
Scam travel agency
Absolutely terrible app experience, booking experience, customer service experience. Can’t even justify trying to refund my tickets because they take half the total! Never use traveloka if you’re booking anything in Indonesia. Book direct. You will never speak to a customer service agent as they try to tell you to do everything in the app, which is also impossible! Scam.
SCAMMER! HAVENT RECEIVED MY REFUND, ITS ALMOST A YEAR!!
My flight was cancelled by the airline so I submitted a refund request this was in July 2022. It is now March 2023 and they havent refunded my flight yet!! They only started with the refund process about a month ago but guess what?? I STILL HAVENT GOTTEN MY REFUND YET. they kept giving excuses how they cant refund the money back due to wrong bank details?? asked me soooo many times to provide them with my bank details? but they keep coming back with refund failed! and asked me to give them a singaporean bank account?? Im not even from singapore, didnt purchase it in singapore and not even flying to singapore?? I have zero connection to singapore and i dont understand why they needed a singaporean account in order to refund my money!! In my opinion, they might just be making this difficult on purpose in hopes that I would give up and just let it go! But thats not happening!! I already lost alot of money from them cancelling my flight in the first place! First experience with this company and you can bet this will be my last experience with them too!!

They told you the tickets were refundable or at least half of the money will be returned if you cancelled it yourself so you booked other airlines and then it turned out not as it said… this is clearly how it makes profit from unfair canceling policy there will be no more with traveloka.
