We were excited to have found this and the Traverseon Camping Gear Company

We were really excited to have found this Tailgate Pro Shelter, it was priced right and the shipping, (although I dealt with a new tracking app, I wasn't familiar with), the Items,( I received two), came in about 7-9 days after order. These came from over seas and we're Airdropped. The Tailgate Pro Shelter is Compact and Effective for The Car Camping we do on a Regular basis. It's simple and keeps the bugs out and the breeze in, or out if that is my preference at the tine. It stores with a Small Footprint (important for car camping) Great Job Traverseon fits Great on my Traverse, and I like that it's universal and works on my Buddies SUV as well, we use it for fishing. Thanks again and looking forward to our next Traverseon Camping Gear Purchases!! Jeff, Ohio US

I'm loving the solo camping collection

I'm loving the solo camping collection! The infrared windproof stove is great for a road trip into the mountains of Alaska.

The order came promptly and customer communication was great too.

Portable Gas Propane Stove – Windproof Flameless Infrared

What I like most is how compact and practical it is. It doesn’t take much space, but performs like a much bigger cooking setup. I’ve used it for frying steak, heating oil, coffee and general camping cooking – no issues at all.

Overall, a great piece of kit for anyone into camping, van life, or outdoor cooking. Highly recommended!

Purchased a heated blanket

Purchased a heated blanket. I complained to the company that it didn't seem to be generating enough heat (not working as expected). They replied quickly with question about how it was being used. I won't go into all the details of the multiple emails but they included sending pictures to Traverson and purchasing additional power packs to operate the unit. As far as I concerned as the consumer the product was defective and I shouldn't have to continue to purchase items to make it work, a couple of batteries Ok, but a $30 power pack! I honestly became frustrated with the continued requests for pictures and spec sheets and gave up.

Many standard portable chargers do not meet these specific requirements, which is why our team asked for photos and battery specs—to determine if the issue was a technical defect or a power supply mismatch.

However, I hear you loud and clear: as a consumer, you simply want the product to work without a "homework assignment" of emails and additional costs. We clearly missed the mark in making this process easy for you, and for that, I am sorry.

It seems unless there’s a bad review this co doesn’t care. I have emailed 3x without an answer. I would choose another store with other products. I would never recommend. They have taken the cost without a confirming email. I think this company is fake. I will report to hopefully help others

Updated review

I had some trouble with them originally but soon after posting my previous review, I was reached out to immediately by their support team explaining everything that was going on, understandably it was the holidays for the team so the amount of time that passed before my item was shipped to me was reasonable, I ordered the bait casting rod that’s available on their website, it showed up to me today, a few days prior to their return/refund policy stated on their website, so I hope I like the rod. I haven’t used it to fish with yet but it seems legit. Further update to the review to come after I get on a fish with it.

I’m having the same issue as others it seems. Order something Feb 15, haven’t heard a peep or seen any movement on tracking. Just that I confirmed payment. Very frustrating.

Paid $70 for a $2 car heater

Paid $70 for a $2 car heater. The unit is very small and the fan is very weak. Also, the heating element does not function at all. When I noticed shipping from China, I knew it was an inferrior product. The return shipping would cost more than the item is worth.

Item never arrived- customer services not answering requests for refund

Ordered a tent- received notice it was shipping direct from China. Received notice three weeks later that it was delayed. Contacted company who said they would look into it. At this point I had to go buy a different tent for a planned trip. I have asked for a refund as I never received the item. Three emails have gone unanswered. I am filing a complaint with the state AGs office.

Poor communication, don’t seem to want customers

First Traverseon order only arrived after I had put a stop on payment through credit card. Company had stopped responding to emails from me. When I told them the item came finally I wrote again and told them I’d received it and was ready to pay for it, still no response from support. Thought I’d try them again since I liked the item I did finally receive, and got a best customer code (I thought maybe this was a response to my problems with the first order). Placed two more orders with the Traverseon which were cancelled without any explanation. On the second order, a note came claiming that I had cancelled the order which I had not. Again no response when I tried to contact customer support. I don’t think the company is worth this kind of treatment but I hope others don’t have a bad experience as they appear to have interesting items.

I’m truly sorry for the frustrating experience—and for our lack of timely replies. Thank you for your patience and for giving Traverseon another try.

From what you described, it looks like our fraud-prevention system auto-flagged your account after the stop-payment on the first order. That can (incorrectly) cancel new orders and even label them as “customer-cancelled,” and it may have routed your emails into a review queue. This is on us—not you—and we’re fixing it now.

Not trustworthy

After more than a month and after several emails my order never did show up. Nor could I track my order. They just kept saying:
- "It's on the way".
In my point of view this is not a trustworthy company at all.
Luckily I bought this item through PayPal and got my money back.
I don't recommend Traverseon at all.

When you had trouble tracking your order, it was not because we intended to deceive you. At that time, we had partnered with a logistics company that turned out to be unreliable—sadly, a risk that is all too common these days. This caused unnecessary confusion, and I sincerely apologize for that experience.

Since then, we’ve corrected the issue. All shipments now come with verifiable tracking numbers, and in your case we already proactively issued a full refund so you wouldn’t bear any loss.

Traverseon is a genuine brand, with an official website, verified payments, authentic customer reviews, and trackable deliveries to customers around the world. We are not scammers, and continuing to say so publicly does not reflect the reality.

I kindly ask you to stop spreading these false claims. If you still have doubts, please reach out—we will gladly and patiently answer every question. We truly care about every customer, and your concerns will always be respected.
