Good secondary lock
Delivery took a little while but the product is easy to use & hopefully will be a deterrent to thieves.
I have a good lock & chain too, so hopefully they would move on to an easier target.

Seems a little lightweight.
Seems a little lightweight to be honest. The alarm is certainly loud but I suspect that it would be a 20 second job to get it off the bike. A very long wait for items to arrive. I thought that the product was British, however it’s obviously shipped directly from China. I suspect that the equivalent Oxford lock would be better long term.

Cheers for the honest review Stephen, appreciate you taking the time 🤝 few quick things worth saying straight.
On the weight — you're right, it's deliberately compact. That's the whole point: a lock that lives with you is the one that actually gets used every park-up. Chain in the shed does nothing on the daily.
On "20 seconds to get it off" — with respect, that undersells it a bit. The DiscGuard runs a 7mm hardened steel locking pin, not the flimsy 4-5mm you'll find on the cheap ones, and the body's built to shrug off hammers and pry-bars. It's not going to yield in a few seconds even without the alarm. And the moment they even try, they're stood next to a bike screaming at 110dB — that's the layer that actually breaks the job.
On the wait and the China shipping — we are UK-owned and operated, London-based team. What happened is we were briefly out of UK stock, and rather than sit you waiting even longer we shipped direct from our factory.

When attached to the disc it gives the 1st & 2nd beep but it doesn't give the warning two beeps when i push on the bike but it does if i actually move the disc lock is this normal ?

Cheers for taking the time to leave a review Andy 🤝 that's completely normal — the smart shock sensor sits inside the lock body, so a gentle push on the frame doesn't always transfer through to it (which is exactly what stops it going off from wind, a passing lorry, or someone brushing past).
Easy tweak to make it more sensitive though — run the free reminder lanyard from your DiscGuard up to your handlebar. Second anyone touches the bars to move the bike, it tugs the lock and sets it off straight away.

The disc lock fits my rear break disc and thats exactly what I've been looking for , not many disc locks fit the rear disc on my model of motorcycle .

Love the 2 lockts as I got them as we are using the bikes and parking at a hotel. Panicked a little bit as they only arrived yesterday pm having been ordered on the 28th August. Evri delivery seem to be extremely slow. No haste in them at all.
All tested and it’s noisy!!

Some good some bad.
The disc lock is advertised as coming from a UK company… it doesn’t it took 2 weeks to arrive from China.
Sadly when I tried to fit it to the front discs of my 1978 Moto Guzzi Le Mans it doesn’t fit, but fortunately I can fit it to the rear disc.
It’s easy to fit and the alarm is loud.

We are a UK company — Lockt is UK-owned and operated, London-based team, London-based support (that's who's typing this). What happened on your order is we were briefly out of UK stock, and rather than have you sitting on your hands for weeks we shipped yours direct from our factory instead.
Sorry the front discs of the Le Mans didn't play ball — proper classic that, respect. Chuffed the rear disc's sorted and that it's doing its job loud and easy. Ride safe 🏍️
Very pleased with the product.
I am very happy with the product but it took over two weeks to arrive. It would have been good to know at time of purchase the delivery time. As it turned out I didn’t need it immediately but it would have saved me chasing up the delivery.

Does what it says on the box
The delivery was fast and easily tracked, the disc lock is well made, although it is smaller than my friends Oxford lock (a good thing, easier to store) it works well, I have tested it and am impressed, I hope it never gets used in anger but I'm happier knowing it's there
