I’ve been using Think smart for the past year and a bit and couldn’t be more thankful for their Help! I mostly worked with Daria Thaddee and Matylda which are all just as professional and helpful as you could possibly wish for! Daria by far is the most helpful and considerate English and economics tutor I’ve ever had, always made the effort to answer as soon as she could and helped with everything she is basically a walking library with all the information you’ll ever need!! Thaddee has always been able to help me understand topics I thought aren’t even possible to comprehend and has always done so in the most efficient and professional ways. And matylda is just simply the most perfect maths chemistry and TOK tutor out there! Who knew someone could master so many subjects yet still teach them with such perfection!! Very much recommend them all!

high hopes for Think Smart, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The biggest issue with this company is the quality of its teaching staff. Rather than hiring experienced, qualified educators, they seem to rely on former IB students with little to no professional teaching background. While these individuals may have done well in the IB program themselves, that does not automatically make them effective teachers.

The lack of proper teaching experience was evident—my instructor struggled to explain complex concepts clearly, and their lesson plans felt unstructured and disorganized. There was also a noticeable lack of professionalism, with some tutors showing up late, being unprepared, or failing to provide constructive feedback.

For the high prices Think Smart charges, I expected much better. If you are looking for real educational support from trained professionals, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

My tutors for IB Physics HL, English lang/lit HL, and Spanish ab initio (Santiago and Yuki), both proved to be extremely helpful, easy to talk to, and well informed. The support that was provided by both these tutors allowed me to approach my exams with far more confidence, and I believe that due to them, I did much better on my exams.
