I received my order

I received my order. When I took them out to plant, two of the packages had nothing except dirt in them. No roots or anything but dirt.

Ordered 3 different varieties of…

Ordered 3 different varieties of ranunculus only 2 bags came up. About half of the 75 anemones bloomed and no tulips grew. Everything was planted in November as I am in zone 10a. Didn’t file a complaint with the company because I don’t want a credit. Will never buy from them again. I have successfully grown ranunculus and anemones for years in my climate. The anenome corms I received were the size of a dime. I have also grown tulip successfully keeping them in the fridge for 6 weeks before planting. I called Tulip World and was told they had already been through cold stratification and to plant right away which I did.

Zone 10 has too warm a climate to successfully grow tulips, as they need cold temperatures in order to produce a flower bud. Anemone and ranunculus can grow in zone 10 but are also a bit specific to the temperatures they require for success. The results you experienced were most likely related to the hardiness zone these items were planted in.

I purchased two different times. On BOTH purchases the bulbs were rotten!!! Got a partial refund on first order. Place a second order. Recieved only part of my order. What I did receive is ROTTEN AGAIN!2

Shipped dead, dried out, moldy tulip bulbs

Ordered some Tulip bulbs, they were shipped quickly but 23 out of 25 bulbs were completely dried out and dead. Not even close to being viable. The bulbs clearly had been dried up for months. That a company would deliberately ship old bad merchandise without caring is dishonest.

Extremely slow shipping

I ordered 3 different varieties of spring bulbs for a total of 10 packages on October 5, 2025 for my daughter and I. The website said that that Tulip World ships within 3 days. After a week of not hearing about the shipping of my order, I emailed customer service. They did get back to me, saying the product was in the warehouse but it hadn't been unpacked. Over the next few weeks, I emailed Tulip World numerous times, that I am waiting for the order. I wanted to plant them before the snow flew and the ground was frozen. Finally on October 28, after emailing then again in the morning, I received a shipping confirmation that afternoon. The order was received on October 31, 2025. While planting the bulbs, each bag had some bulbs that were half bulbs or pieces of bulbs that I doubt will grow. We will just have to see if the bulbs will grow in the spring. I hesitate to order from Tulip World again.

Read the reviews before placing an order!

I should have read reviews before I placed both my orders. The shipping is very slow, much longer than the"1-3 days" as described on the website.
Even with the seasonal shipping specifications, which I think should be made clearer for those orders during the purchase process, the product is shipped much later than stated. This company has let me down.

Do not order

I placed an order on October 3 for fall items listed as in stock. Nothing has arrived (Nov. 12) and I am not able to track my order. I have contacted the company many times via phone and email and receive no response. No one answers the phone during business hours. I can't even get my money refunded.

Waiting for bulbs and it's now past the time I can safely plant. I've tried to call and email customer service and no one responds to my messages. The "live chat" doesn't work, it says it's only "available during business hours... except it's within business hours when you get that message. Buy from somewhere else!

I order some tulip bulbs on September 29th and haven't received them yet. I have contacted the customer service by email and on October 28 they said my order is been prepare. I have been waiting and when online to check and still said processing.

Quality of product. Although I was somewhat peeved at the slow delivery, when my bulbs arrived, I found them to be of excellent quality, large in size, firm and beautiful in appearance

Be Prepared to Wait a LOOONG Time for Your Order to Ship

I purchased several items that were listed as "IN STOCK" and after waiting several weeks for shipment, just said screw it and cancelled my order. Why should a customer wait nearly a month for an item you list as "IN STOCK" to be put in a box and shipped out? There were no shipping schedule restrictions and attempting to contact customer service via e-mail, chat or phone is quite the adventure. Bad service = Lost Customer forever.

It took a long time to get my less-than-fabulous order

It took a long time to get my order. In fact, when I called to ask what the delay was the customer service person didn't even make sense as far as the reasoning for the delay. Then I said I would just cancel the order and he said it would be shipped that week. Magically, it was shipped the next day. When I finally got the long-awaited order, it had some rotten/diseased bulbs and was shorted a few bulbs in the packages I received. I am waiting to see how that is handled, but I don't have high hopes.

On the other hand, they are part of a larger umbrella organization and I do business with their sister company and have no complaints. They are quick and the products have all exceeded expectations. That's one reason I thought Tulipworld might be good. I will stick with the other guys.

Ordered Black Eyed Susans, got two bags of peat moss. Ordered 10 premium Scarlett Gladiola bulbs, got garbage knockoffs that weren't worth a quarter each.

Unacceptable material conditions; worse customer service

My order consisted of 7 varieties having a total of 10 units of purchase for all inclusive cost of $95.19.

More than half of the items were not viable, mold, rot, and/or disintegrated into the packing peat.

Other items had a 25% failure to germinate or grow.

Further the Casa Blanca lilies ordered, turned out to be white of an Asiatic type once they grew and bloomed.

My experience with the customer service phone line was abysmal and unsatisfactory as they only will provide a "store credit" as i did not have photo evidence of the material condition.

I want nothing to do with this company in the future and will tell everyone I know to steer clear of this and their parent company " Holland Bulbs".

Going back to my favorite independent garden centers.

Horrible company

Two years of ordering from this so called company and nothing but issues. They force you into getting store credits for items that are sent rotton or wrong items sent but its your fault and you have to jump through hoops.The same with their parent company Holland Bulb

company. They are just as bad. At this point i just want my money they don't refund just give you ceedit so you have to keep dealingwith their lies and incompetence. I just want my money so I DON'T EVER HAVE TO DEAL WITH THEM EVER AGAIN. STAY AWAY FROM THEM HORRIBLE COMPANY, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, HORRIBLE FAKE GARDEN

B A D C O M P A N Y…

I ordered Tulip bulbs from a December advertisement. Little did I know that these bulbs would be delivered the first week in Jan. Now, I live in zone 5, and find it hard to believe a professional tulip company would send me bulbs in the middle of winter, and under their warranty I needed to plant them right away, and if fail take pictures. Well anyone knows in zone 5 that you plant tulips in Spring/Fall. I stored them in my garage and then when Spring arrived unwrapped them to find a green fungus/mold all over them. I called the company and they said, since I stored them and did not plant them right away they are not covered. She even said they were Spring planted bulbs.
Stay away from this company! I paid a lot of money and hardly anything is yet to come up. Pretty sad to say the least. I wil now address it with PayPal. I’m sure I can find rotten bulbs in the ground.
