We are so grateful for everything our daughter’s tutor has done for her. At just five years old, learning can be challenging, but her tutor is incredibly patient, kind, and engaging. She makes lessons fun while still keeping them educational, which has helped our daughter stay focused and excited to learn.

Excellent tutors

Byron, our math tutor was great! We unfortunately were only able to complete 2 sessions due to personal scheduling conflicts for us but in those 2 sessions my son gained so much confidence with his guidance. I didn’t leave 5 stars because the price per hour is hefty but it was worth it. Bonus points for him being veteran!

Tutor Hero is Great. They're flexible and affordable, very helpful and attentive. The tutors are very good and so far my daughter has had an amazing experience. 10 stars and 2 thumbs up. 10 out of 10 do recommend.

This is about my entire experience with Tutorhero. (Spoiler - the most recent tutor gets 10 stars on her own!!!) The enrollment process went well and we were asked a lot of questions that would help a tutor. Or initial pairing was absolutely NOT the right fit and if that was all we had to work with I was going to request a refund. But, our second tutor pairing was PERFECT!!! She is so knowledgeable about the subject and is quick to respond and took the time before the scheduled session to understand exactly what my child needed help with. The only challenge - she was virtual and my child really wanted in-person tutoring (which is why we were paired with the first tutor). Lesson learned. I appreciate Janelle and her knowledge and professionalism and understanding - 10/10!!!

We bought a 72 hour package to improve our grade 12 student's psa and sat scores. Steve was a very helpful tutor. Her score went up. My daughter enjoys his teaching style.

Found them on via online search. It takes a couple of days before they can get you scheduled. Unfortunately, after being scheduled, our tutor called in sick that day of tutoring she did, however, offer a virtual lesson which we took advantage of. We scheduled another session and the Tutor confirmed with both myself and my daughter the day of the session she would be here, but unfortunately she no-show no called. Sadly, we had a big test the very next day so you can imagine how disappointing and obviously unprofessional this was. I contacted the company. They were unable to provide a replacement within an acceptable timeframe. I requested a refund which took about 20 minutes to get done. Very disappointing experience.

We only been doing the program a short time but in this short time we are grateful for my son’s tutor. He has ADHD and Zoe is by far very, patient and understanding. We appreciate her so much Thank you!!!!

Our tutor Xaviera was very professional, just listening to how she was helping my granddaughter was amazing. I cannot recommend her enough to anyone who needs tutoring! After meeting with her for 2 hours, my grandchild's teacher took notice and told me how much she had improved in such a short time period. We hope to meet with Xaviera again someday!

Terrible customer service: rude and not client centric at all. Unreliable and just not worth it. Do not use their services.

Only good thing about this company is Brian. He has excellent customer service skills. Other than that, I had nothing but issues repeatedly. I had multiple issues with no show tutors and rude representatives on the phone. If it weren’t for him and his kindness I would give 1 star.

Not a good experience so far and will update if it works out. I was not told that I could not get a refund for unused hours. Purchased 16 hours and only used 2 hours. Paid $1152 for the hours! I can't believe what they are telling me that I may not get this money back because it has to be requested 30 days after the last payment.. what? This is the first to hear this. I can't believe a company would do this...So mislead. Just found out I could have purchased individual hours which makes way more sense for our situation. That was definitely not told to me. Hopefully I hear back as told and something can be worked out.
