First class repair, posting and communication

What makes Electronic Partners stand out is not only the repair itself, but the care they take to communicate progress at all stages and to outline upcoming costs clearly, seeking authorisation at each step of the investigation.

The posting and return process is very easy; it's just great to have our 1993-built Kenwood KA-5050R powered up and running perfectly again!

Just the best

Just the best. Superb and professional service from initial approach, providing a postage label, estimate, repair and fast return. Very cost-effective.
I feel able to recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable repair to anything in their range.

Excellent service

Excellent service, fantastic communication, I personally visited the repair centre in Telford and staff were found to be polite and friendly.The team Fixed my Dac on my nad amplifier although parts took a while to arrive but there is an online portal service that makes it easy to communicate to explain the issues.
This outfit in my opinion offers a professional service at a reasonable price .I believe a decent service comes with a price, like with any trade if you pay peanuts expect monkeys. No monkeys to be found at this company. I will use this company again.

Electronic partners were very helpful when I made my initial enquiry on the telephone. They kept me informed about the progress of my repair and my turntable came back as good as new

Clown Quotes

Their free quote was completely off and laughable, honestly. I put in a query regarding replacing the left analog sticks of two PS5 controllers. This was explained very clearly as simply replacing the sticks to fix controller drift. The price they quoted me for this was £119. Which is more than what buying 2 new controllers costs. Also, this can't be chalked up to the cost of new parts. New analog sticks cost about £3. I know this because I've bought the parts, but they need to be replaced using a soldering iron, which I don't have.

Not sure who's reviewing these quotes, but maybe you should re-examine your process if you want to be taken seriously.

We appreciate your review, but just to clarify—while we’d love to run a circus (imagine the savings on rent and salaries!), we unfortunately operate in the UK, where engineers expect real wages and landlords insist on actual rent.

Yes, the parts themselves are indeed cheap, but unlike a DIY project, our service includes professional installation, calibration, and ensuring everything functions as it should—without the risk of turning your controllers into expensive paperweights. Of course, if you fancy a bit of soldering practice, a quick YouTube tutorial and a £3 stick might be the way forward.

We do appreciate your feedback, though! If you ever need a quote that isn’t from a clown, our engineers are always happy to help.

An excellent company

I am very pleased with the service. They kept me informed all the way through, my equipment was repaired and delivered on time. Not to mention the excellent customer service. If anyone needs their equipment repaired, this is the place to send them to.

Completely misinterpreted my request

Completely misinterpreted my request. Impossible to reply to their email. I simply wanted a couple of (supplied) small backup batteries soldered to a circuit board. Instead they couldn't quote because they tried to convince me there is a fault needing diagnosis and parts required!

Since there are various types of batteries and soldering methods, we requested the device be sent in so we could assess it properly and provide an exact quote. Of course, this decision is entirely up to the customer.

Paying for no repair - avoid

Quoted widly out because they did not bother to read my quote request propery, leading to wasted time for me and this organisation & personally inccuring £16 cost just to send in my item with no repair done.

Explained this to their customer service system, I offered to meet half way and pay half the costs even though i through believe this is all their fault. They rejected this notion.

If they had read my quote request properly, called or communicated on the matter woudnt of sent it in, but instead paying for a waste of time and no repair.

My advice - Use a local company so postage not required and can quote in person ACCURATELY -- Or competitor of this organisation as not a good service

You did not pay for a repair—you paid £8.10 for a professional diagnosis and £7.90 for tracked return shipping after choosing not to proceed with the repair.

We read your request and provided an estimate based on your description, but an estimate is not a final quote. A quote is only given after inspection, as clearly stated in our Terms. Your final quote reflected the actual internal damage, which could not have been assessed externally.

Our process is fully transparent and applies equally to all customers.

What a find

What a find! Excellent service and repair time. I highly recommend this company as live in a rural environment with no audio/repair services locally. Also good collection/delivery via Royal Mail.

Charged me over £90 to deal with a…

Charged me over £90 to deal with a battery issue, and did even replace the battery. No warranty because of liquid damage. No doubt they have covered themselves in the very small print in their t&c s.

Thank you for your review. We’d like to clarify that the issue with your device was not related to the battery but rather liquid damage, which we successfully repaired. The battery was tested and found to be functioning correctly, so a replacement was not necessary.

As with all liquid-damaged devices, we are unable to provide a warranty on the repair, as is standard practice across the industry, including with manufacturers. This is because liquid damage can cause ongoing or latent issues that may appear over time.

We also want to assure you that our terms and conditions are fully transparent and clearly presented, with no hidden or "small print" clauses. This information is readily available on our website and in our FAQ section.

All proficient in completing the repair and very clear in explaining in what and how it is being done.
My only criticism would be the amount of time was taken.
From the time it left my house to it being returned it was a month, which I thought was a bit excessive.
I would use again though
