Over the moon with our slate sign.
We are over the moon with our slate number sign. The website was easy to navigate and, once we decided on a sign, it was easy to customise. There was also the option to pay a small fee for the sign to be oiled before dispatch, which we are glad that we opted for, as it protects the sign and enhances the appearance. Our sign was so very carefully packaged and arrived in perfect condition. I can highly recommend UK Sign Shop. Many thanks.

Thank you for your recommendation and for choosing UK Sign Shop.
Park Avenue Slate house sign was perfect!
I ordered the Park Avenue Slate (35cm x18cm) with house number to the left and the house name to the right in Playfairdisplay font. I chose for the deeply engraved lettering to be painted gold & for the sign to be finished with oil to make the slate darker against the lettering. I was very pleased with the result. The sign was excellent quality and definitely enhanced the entrance to the house, clearly displaying the address for anyone needing to locate it in a village where there are few house numbers; most have names. One thing I would say, to assist anyone else buying a sign like this, is that the standaway-from-the-wall fixing kit comes with screw head caps/covers. While these are great at hiding the screw heads and match in well with the oiled slate they are made of very hard plastic and do not click into place over the screw collars provided easily. In fact we couldn't get them to fix in place at all. However, we found submerging these screw covers in hot water from the kettle for a few minutes softened them enough to click them over the collars without any difficulty at all.

A really great product and service. It was good that we could specify our measurements as we needed to put the sign in a limited space. Also liked the choices of font and colours for the lettering. Very impressed with quality and delivered within a few days. Would highly recommended.

Poor customer service
Seemed ok to start but poor communication provided a mock up stating a little low quality artwork see mockup looked at mockup. Looks ok I’d bought a glossy sign it arrives and the artwork on the sign is all Matt I was under the impression a glossy black sign ment the black would be glossy anyway send an email to express my disappointment and all I get is it told you in the mockup it said black colour may not match nothing about it not being glossy

Thank you for your feedback Abby.
We're sorry to hear that the finished sign did not meet your expectations.
The sign was produced using the artwork supplied and in line with the proof that was approved prior to manufacture.
During the proofing process, our studio team highlighted that elements of the design would be printed and may differ in appearance from the Black Gloss Acrylic material itself.
While we appreciate your disappointment with the final result, we have been in contact directly to discuss the matter and available options.
We remain happy to work with you towards a resolution.
Kind Regards,
UK Sign Shop
