I didn’t get the color that I picked

I didn’t get the color that I picked. If it wasn’t in stock I should’ve gotten and email or something regarding to the color that I pick was not in stock at the time. What a waste of money for something that you wanted but don’t get it. These are expensive. But overall the bike is good it was just that little situation that I was kinda upset about when I opened the box.

The Anti-Ultra E-Bike

Received the product with a broken battery, malfunctioning gears, a broken hand throttle, and a scratched screen.

The screen is not a big deal. However, you could have assumed it would come unscratched and/or with a protective layer installed.

Pertaining to the battery, I had to duct tape it to the bike in order to hold it in place. They offered me $20 dollars as a comp for the defective battery, that was delivered that way. Further, I hit 150 miles on the bike and the battery life is virtually non-existent. Within a mile maybe two, the batter meter will drop to 2 bars and then jumps around from there. The first week I did get about 25-29 miles per charge. With that in mind, you would think at 150 miles of use, I would have charged the bike no more than 6 times. i.e. 150/6 is 25. I've had to charge this bike at least 15 times to reach 150 miles. Recharge time is unknown; at times it takes 6-8 hours other times it takes 1 hour. With the battery aspect in mind, this bike will soon be a $1000+ bicycle that doesn't perform at that level. i.e. shocks, rims, gears, crank, brakes.

Note: the weight of the bike is around 50 lbs.

Replacement batteries are over $350... and there is much resistance, so much so, you wouldn't be able to ride the bike "normally" without a battery. If you wanted an exercise bike with resistance; this is the exact bike you would want to buy.

For the gears, I was sent a "How-to" to adjust the gears and although they are not working a 100% (I have 6 instead of 7 gears) I can still use the bike.

The throttle is still broken and I have not heard anything back from the company for about 2.5 - 3 weeks.

Note: I had purchased the extended warranty

Note: I did have a flat tire in the first week. They did send me a new tube about a week later since I had multiple concerns upon receipt of the bike.

Note: I've only had this bike for a little over a month.

Expect to buy 4-6 batteries per year, on the low end, if you use this bike daily.

Keep this in mind: 4 x $350 = $1400 and the bike is listed for $999...

EDIT: I'm now getting less than 7 miles per charge. I still haven't heard from support about the damaged or defective parts.

Regarding the battery, it seems that the issue is more complex than initially assessed and a $20 comp might not cover the inconvenience. We are happy to expedite a new battery for you at no extra cost given the recurring issues you've encountered. Moreover, we'll ensure a rigorous check of the replacement to guarantee it meets our high-quality standards.

We also appreciate your patience in attempting to fix the gears yourself. However, if they're not working at their full capacity, we want to offer our assistance. Our technical team can guide you through the process over a video call or, we can arrange for a local technician to assist you at our cost.

Concerning the throttle, we understand your frustration about not having received a response yet. This delay is not up to our standards and we will look into the matter internally and make the necessary corrections with our Customer Service Team effective immediately. In the meantime, a replacement will be shipped out to you.

You mentioned purchasing the extended warranty. With this, you would be covered for any defects and repairs necessary, including the replacement battery and throttle.

Our customer service team will be reaching out to you within the next 24-48 hours to resolve these issues to your satisfaction. Again, we're deeply sorry for the inconvenience and we're dedicated to making this right.

It made a huge difference when you can…

It made a huge difference when you can talk to a member of this company and can ask questions about there bikes. I bought my first e bike off Amazon switch was a huge mistake. I had issues with the bike the company didn’t want to help or to make this right. I got into e bikes to help with my therapy. I had a bad knee injury. The e bike made it easy for me to build up my strength. Now the only mistake I made was not getting a bike from you guys from the start.

parts were lose…

Well so far alot of the parts were lose and it seems one of the batteries is bad. Only did 11 miles and got stuck with dead battery. Had to readjust battery slide because batteries were not setting all the way down. Havent talk to customer service yet but im sure they will send new battery.

After six months of research I found…

After six months of research I found Ultra E-bikes had the best price. Took a week and a half to get the bike and I really can’t complain about that given all the current shipping & logistical challenges going on. Only reason I’m not giving them five stars is that I’m holding out to see if I need them to help out if there are problems with the bike (only had one day so far).

Best service and support.

Let me just start by saying how much I love this bike. I ordered the Rattan LM500. First I forgot to include the free lock that cam with my purchase. I contacted Ultre Ebikes, through the chat feature on their website. The girl who helped me was very understanding and corrected my order in record time. The next issue I had was with the shipping address. I had the bike shipped to my bosses house, but did not no that he would be out of town when the bike was scheduled to arrive. So I contacted Ultra Ebikes by chat late at night and left a message explaining the problem. Now I dont know if Jared owns the business or not but acts as if he does. He called me by phone the very next day. I was presently surprised by this. Jared contacted FedEx and rerouted the bike to the FedEx store close to my house. Very friendly and helpful. The third and most recent problem I had was flare tire. Instead of going through the whole story, let's just say through fault of my own, I lost special lock washer for the rear wheel. Looked all over my city trying to find one, to no avail. Contacted Ultra Ebikes once again and was connected with Jared. He contacted the manufacturer and got the parts ordered for me at no cost. Even though the list part was my fault. Much appreciation and praise for customer service and support. Probably the best buying experience I have ever had. If I cou give the ten stars instead of five I would. I highly recommend if you are going to purchase an ebike, this is the company to go through. Jared your awesome. Keep doing what your doing.

Nice bike,came fully assembled except for the pedals which took a minute to install(wrench includedBike was surprisingly light.battery charged full in a few hours.seat and handlebars adjusted easily.bike rode smooth ,my only regret is that I did not buy it sooner

Jared at Ultra Ebikes has always responded to my calls and texts. My bike was on backorder for about 2 months but he called 2 or 3 times to keep me in the loop. My bike arrived in great condition and I’m very pleased.
