I recently used upper street handyman…
I recently used upper street handyman to fix and paint some wooden French doors that were leaking, and box in some pipes in my kitchen. Both jobs were carried out by Hamed who was an excellent carpenter. He was on time and the work was quoted at a reasonable cost and even though it took him longer than expected they did not charge me any more. Very happy and would use them again.

Excellent jet wash cleaning of patio
My patio paving stones badly needed cleaning. Michael came and did an excellent job. He had a powerful patio jet washer which was needed as the paving stones were engrained with dirt. At the end they looked like new. I am very pleased with the work.

Reliable, professional and friendly team delivering amazing projects
Having employed Upper Street Handyman for several smaller jobs, they were our first choice to work with to have our two bathrooms completely renovated. From the initial discussion through to completion they have been a joy to work with.
The entire team are polite, professional, reliable, friendly and flexible.
I am detail-oriented and was specific in the design. The team brought my vision to reality and have delivered two beautiful bathrooms. The workmanship is beautiful and we are so happy with the result.

Excellent workmen.
Upper Street Handyman are my "go to" company for handyman jobs. They have done lots of small jobs for me and have just completed a larger job of making good and redecorating the stairs and hallways of a 4 story house that had been wrecked by flooding. Their workmen are pleasant and skilled. I can recommend.

Upper Street Handyman - highly recommended…
Upper St Handyman were recommended to me by a friend who has used them for several renovation jobs on her house. They just finished a list of jobs for me, including repairing and repainting the front of the house, wiring and installing an extractor fan and installing a handrail for the stairs. The guys were friendly, reliable and thorough, and finished every job to a very high standard. The quote was detailed and communication with the office was always quick and clear. I will be asking them to quote to replace all of our windows next year. They might cost a little more than some small contractors, but you really do get what you pay for with building work and they are definitely very good value for money.

We always use Upper Street Handyman as they are reliable, clean and do the job well.
Our back downpipe was relaced and then they came back to fix the gutter.
However this was delayed twice due to the weather.
Eventually it was done well although they arrived after the 1 hour time slot. I do think they are expensive though!

Very poor communication…
I wanted a plumbing job completed quickly and was prepared to pay more than market price for speedy completion. While the very significant delays were not all their fault there was very poor communication throughout. Times of appointments were repeatedly changed or not kept.

We would like to point out that you had your booking on 27th October in the morning, we informed you that the time would change to the afternoon for the same day, on the 19th October, 8 days before your booking, we believe this to be good communication. On the day, the plumber was delayed due to his previous job taking longer than anticipated but we informed you about this within the time slot of arrival, and we still attended to complete the work the same day. We did not compromise on the quality of our work, despite you not being satisfied with the office teams communication. We apologise for any inconvenience that this has caused

Excellent work, fair price, outstanding communications.
I have used a lot of building firms over the years in different UK locations, for business and private work. and for large and small jobs. Some have been very good but, even with the best, communication has often been an issue. Not so with Upper Street Handyman Ltd. who must also be the easiest and most efficient communicators I have ever encountered in the building trade, with the help of the excellent Parez and her office colleagues and with the experienced professional oversight of Eli. The firm has recently completed an extensive refit of an Islington flat for me, including the installation of a new central heating system and new internal wall insulation, followed by roofing work to deal with occasional water ingress and the emergency remediation of a sudden leak. It was all very well done, to an exceptional standard, at a fair price. I was given trustworthy advice throughout. The business is a bigger enterprise than the name implies, with a workforce that includes a wide range of skilled trades. All of the workmen I met were friendly, courteous and careful to protect the communal parts of the building. This is a very well run business that deserves to do well.
