To clarify, our State Filing Service is a one time fee, although we do continually offer our expertise and assistance to our customers whenever possible. We do not offer any monthly based subscription services; however, we do offer two annual subscription services, our Registered Agent Service and our Business Compliance Service.

I've just attempted to reach you over the phone but was unsuccessful and I could not leave a voicemail, as the phone number provided is inactive. We have searched our database and we regretfully cannot locate any messages or emails sent, tickets formed, or calls made by you.

We have several contact routes available to ensure that our customers can easily communicate with us whenever necessary. We have a direct messaging line on our website and in our customer's Business Portal, in addition to an active support line and email address. We have searched our database and we regretfully cannot locate any messages or emails sent, tickets formed, or calls made by you.

I've just attempted to reach you over the phone but was unsuccessful and I could not leave a voicemail, as your voice mailbox is full. I've also followed up with an email, but we would sincerely love to connect and discuss your options to rectify this matter.

To help clarify our services, you ordered our standard State Filing Service and Registered Agent Service. Our standard processing service fee is $149; however, this is in addition to the required Secretary of State's Business Formation fee, which varies state by state. Your particular state's filing fee is $100.

What you are referring to as the $199 "mail service" is our Registered Agent Service, which was only charged to your account because it was included in your order with us. A Registered Agent is not a mail service, rather it is an appointed position required for all LLCs in all 50 states. However, we're happy to work with you in getting your LLC registered as you would like.

You received order confirmation emails immediately after placing your initial order with us which outlined each of your purchased services and when those charges would occur, although I'm very happy to help clarify further. We look forward to connecting with you as soon as possible regarding this matter.

Of course, as you noted, we are happy to cancel and refund any orders prior to state submission, or any of which have been rejected by the state. You mentioned that you purchased our expedited processing option, and I'm happy to hear this expedited service was received, but this is unfortunately why your order was submitted to the state so quickly and ineligible for a cancellation when requested. Once we have submitted your application and paid the state filing fee, we're constrained to state regulations, and most states do not allow interference throughout their application reviewing process.

With that said, we're happy you were able to get the application rejected by Illinois' Secretary of State office and grateful that you communicated this to us so we could process your cancellation and refund. We wish you all the best with your business moving forward.

Our website operates as a third-party filing assistance service, however we also recognize that this distinction may not always be obvious. This is why we take care to include disclaimers on each page of our website which explain that we are not the Secretary of State office, but rather, we work with them directly on your behalf.

Each of our customers receive Order Confirmation emails which outline their purchased services and when those charges might occur. These emails are especially important, as 100% of our services are tax deductible for you and your business, and your receipts should be retained for this reason. We additionally provide these emails to ensure that our customers are able to review their order and hope they will reach out if there are any discrepancies, prior to our services being completed. We're of course always happy to accommodate any refund requests which meet our cancellation and refund policies.

With that said, it's great to see that you were able to connect with our support representative, though. I'm able to review the transcripts from your conversation; I recognize that there was some frustration, but I can see that we were able to cancel and refund the applicable services, and provided your formation documents to you directly. We're very happy the situation has been resolved.

We genuinely sympathize and understand that extraneous messages or notices may be disruptive for business owners. We do maintain communication with our customers to offer our assistance throughout the entire incorporation process; however, we never want to contribute to the influx of confusing and bothersome messages that might be received when forming your LLC. All of our correspondences can be opted out of, and we're more than happy to initiate a data deletion upon request for customers who no longer hope to work through us.

Additionally, you can unsubscribe from our emails at any point. At the bottom of our messages there is the following note: "No longer want to receive these emails? Unsubscribe," and clicking that hyperlink will allow you to opt out of those unwanted emails.
