Easily Launch Your Own Online Community Today!
TLDR: UUKI is a feature rich, white label, easy to use community platform that you can use to build an online community around your own brand or shared interests.
Great Layout - Love the Facebook inspired layout it is easy to setup and use, Really like the familiar news-feed layout and you have the option to select other ways your community is displayed. So easy to scroll on all devices and members can easily share posts on their social media. The options for visitors to sign-in with their social accounts or to require members to signup through your site is there. Payment options for members are great for site owners seeking to monetize and they are expanding the number of payment processors on their roadmap.
Feature Rich - UUKI developers are pushing out a lot of features, since I first came across their website last year the UI and UX has improved and is solid. Lots of progress has been made on their roadmap, there is a long list of released features on the UUKI Trello board, with many important feature requests that I believe we will soon see in development. I am always looking for more design customization on front end, more options for users to customize their profiles and a mobile app in future is on my wish list.
Great features - Love seeing gamification features being focused on so early including leader-board, karma and rank, trending posts to keep members and visitors engaged. There are also other essential features like private and public groups, moderation tools, analytics, direct messaging, notifications, HTML embed, this platform has so much potential.
Good pricing - The pricing for the Starter and Pro plans are good especially over a year, keep in mind the Advance plan is for 3 communities making it something I'd consider in the future if I grow. I appreciate that UUKI allow unlimited members across all plans. Honestly, too many competing forum communities limit you by MAU (monthly active members), storage and other charges which penalizes your communities success.
So to sum it up, there are a lot of built in flexibility, solid UI/UX and a very promising future, If you are looking to migrate your FB groups, self hosted forum or just want to start a community for your website, brand or interests then I strongly recommend trying out UUKI to see if its a good fit for you and your members.
