3rd visit to this studio and I can't fault the staff or service at all, they are always so welcoming and friendly. The studio is beautiful and spotless, hygiene wise I can't fault them everything is clean and practice is awesome. Thank you I will be back x Stacy Smith

.. I've had 2 works done by Michelle, the 1st was a brand new tattoo, 2nd was a recolour and outline of a previous work done else where.. Both were brought to life and look awesome.. Have so many people ask where I had my work done and always recommend Michelle.

Had a personal memorial tattoo for my parents who I lost by Michelle @ Valhalla tattoo studio & the whole experience was outstanding.
From the moment I walked into the studio I was made so welcomed by all of the artists & the studio is so light & fresh with a beautiful atmosphere.
Everything was explained & also all my questions were answered.
My tattoo was designed by Michelle from having a consultation with her prior to my appointment on ideas that I had & I can say she has met my expectations & more.
I have even booked up for another tattoo that needs to be refreshed after this wonderful experience & I highly recommend going to Valhalla with there very talented artists

Valhalla is a welcoming studio, with Lee always ready to welcome you. He's always helpful through the booking process.
I've had 4 tattoos with Michelle now and she's a fantastic artist. I'll be going back for more! Everything is clean and the studio has such a chill vibe. Completely different from most studios. Cannot recommend these guys enough!

Let me just say I was nervous! It’s been a few years since my last tattoo & I had to have a quiet word with myself walking up to the front door . My nerves subsided though as I walked into a fresh, clean , brightly lit studio & was warmly greeted & offered a cuppa . Kate did an amazing job on my tattoo which holds poignant words in memory of my Dad . Thank you so much !

When you arrive you are greeted promptly and then offered a drink, they also have cookies and sweets to boost your sugar levels before you go in!

Katie did an amazing job and really put the extra effort into her work.

What a wonderful studio! Lee was so helpful throughout the booking process and took time to respond and answer any queries. On arrival I was offered a lovely cup of Yorkshire tea. The studio is very clean and has a lovely atmosphere. Michelle then showed me her design and carefully made any alterations to ensure the design was just what I wanted. We decided to get tattoos and having researched the best tattooists in our area we settled on going to Valhalla's. It is certainly a popular place as we needed to book well in advance, this gave us confidence in the business. We definitely made the right choice, everything was so very personalised from the very first meeting to discuss what we wanted, to the creation of the tattoos and the actual appointments to complete the tattoos. The care and consideration during the tattoos was second to none, and the actual tattoos are so perfect and beautiful we are both so happy with them. One week on and strangers are stopping us to say how beautiful they are and where did we get them done. Just to say thank you so very much to everyone at Valhala for a relaxed experience and the most beautiful perfect tattoos.

Valhalla have the most relaxing studios. Tucked away in Polegate , run by a lovley helpful couple Lee and Michelle. A warm welcome was just the start of a great tattoo.Any questions I had regarding allergys were looked into and I felt confident going ahead .All the staff were friendly and helpful, definitely a go to for me...

I had the most wonderful experience at Valhalla this month. I’d been researching studios in East Sussex for a while with speciality in fine line. I was so stoked to get booked in with Mimi, who is the co-owner and most incredibly talented fine line specialist.

From initial impression of the studio, I felt incredibly comfortable and welcomed with the studio having a modern & clean environment with lovely Nordic style. I’ve seen so many tattoo studios with the strangest and slightly spooky decor like skulls, stuffed animals, grungy decor everywhere and it really put me off so as soon as I saw Valhalla online I thought it was an absolute gem of a find I had to try book in with.

The staff welcomed me right away with friendly smiles and were very professional from the initial consultation, form signing and actual tattoo experience. They explained the process well and were always prompt to respond online when I enquired <3 my tattoo was small (~2”sq) and I paid £100 including deposit. It was a little on the higher end for the size of my tattoo I would say but oh so worth it for the expertise and quality of tattoo!

Not to mention how cute the place is with complementary vegan baked goods, fresh water and sweeties available whilst you wait - you can see they really care about customer experience and go the extra mile!

I was a little nervous for my tattoo as it had been a couple years since my last one but Mimi was very kind, compassionate and reassuring throughout and let me ponder a good while making sure I was happy with the design and placement before starting.

Overall I would say this is worthy of a 6/5 stars and I’ll definitely be returning here :)

Jakob worked miracles on a previous tattoo of mine to add depth and create cohesion so it looked defined and finished. He did absolutely amazing work (as always!) I am 1000% happy with the outcome, seriously talented and such a lovely person too. I will be back in July to continue this tattooing journey with him and I would recommend Jakob to anyone, such a great experience. The new set up at Valhalla is great - such an open and friendly feel to the place. Thank you so much!

So happy with my design by Michelle. After sending over a mix of ideas, Michelle created a beautiful and personal tattoo. I can quite see how they become addictive. I would absolutely recommend Valhalla and can’t wait to return myself! Thank you for looking after me 😊
