Valley Contractors - Turf & Topsoil Opiniones 

Order was placed with a delivery date of Friday June 12th and we secured help for the following day based upon the information provided. No delivery was made and upon contacting the delivery firm we discovered it was not due to be delivered until the following Tuesday. Valley provided no updates and when contacted on WhatsApp sent the following message: ‘ Im sorry to here that. Unfortunately the office is closed until Monday. Please call after 9am’

I’m hoping that making this publicly visible will either persuade them to be more competent or warn others to look elsewhere if they expect the basics of communication and customer care.

We have now been told that our delivery has been delayed again. Valley Turf and Topsoil have yet to apologise and scoffed at the idea of compensation for the inconvenience. I would strongly recommend directing your business elsewhere. They are not a serious company.

The reply left below this review is gently amusing. We assumed that the Tuesday delivery date was going to be adhered to (it wasn't) and that the company's customer service was too poor to offer any recompense (it was). The lack of any understanding that they bear partial responsibility for transport and total responsibility for wholly misleading communication is baffling in this day and age. Do better, it isn't difficult!

Quick and easy transaction, payment made online and Top soil delivered on the day they said, positioned in the correct place as instructed.. pleased with the quality of the soil / compost mix...ordered 750 bag, am ordering a 500 bag now.. happy customer.

This is a rating for communication and delivery.
Arrived 3 days early without any communication. Fortunately someone was in and was able to accept. Also we had expected kerbside delivery however could only deliver onto the drive. No excuse for non existent communication re change in delivery date.
Top soil looks good however if it had been a turf delivery and you say it should be laid within 48 hours and delivered 3 days early does not give opportunity when working.
The delivery man was great but unfortunately had not been given the correct lorry to deliver as expected. Just a motorised sack truck from the back of a lorry. Bag ripped on manoeuvring.

Pleasant delivery guy. V rapid delivery time. Looks like good soil with a good amount of fibrous material and nice and dark. No rubbish or plastic in it u like the bags of compost available at diy shops and other outlets . Will be returning for more

From order to derlivery was quick and transport driver even waited for me to get has i was held up in traffic i would go back to valley again

Liaison & advice was excellent. Soil is of a very good quality.
Only minor issue, we advised that driveway sloped, picture was requested & provided. Confirmed by Valley as OK. However delivery driver, who was very helpful, was unaware & needed help from me & two contractors working locally to get pump truck onto driveway.
Assume this was a a communication error.

I have ordered several times from this company and would give it 5 stars each time. The quality of their products have been excellent. I use them to grow vegs including tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers. Very quick in delivery. Brilliant.

The delivery driver didn’t want to help deliver on a suitable place, he just wanted to get away, this company will take your money quick but are no so accommodating once you have paid
